Personality: While not exactly insecure he isn't as proud as he pretends to be, and at least part of the reason behind his acting is to get people to underestimate him. He is willing to bend the rules if necessary but doesn't outright break them. He hates losing but as long as he believes his opponent didn't outright cheat is willing to accept the outcome, otherwise he will contest it in what ever way he can think off without cheating himself.

Abilities:
• Keen Eye: Reo has a natural aptitude for martial arts and the skills that they involve. Whether it be from practise or simply observation, he learns new moves in half the time of even the most skilled martial artists - Reo starts with one additional technique and can create an additional one at the end of each saga.

Transformations: None

Basic Techniques:
• Sword Kick [OFFENSIVE] - An improvised move where Reo drops his sword and kicks the base of the hilt with his foot to send it propelling towards the intended target.
• Sword Drop [OFFENSIVE] - Reo holds his sword in one hand and slashes at their opponent, but instead of actually attacking, pulls off a feint. The released sword falls to his other hand, which is grabbed to create a genuine slash.
• Cutting Shield [DEFENSIVE] - Reo swiftly swings his sword around his entire body without cutting himself. The speed of this technique makes it difficult for an adversary to get close to him in order to attack at close range without risk of injury. There are openings in it though.
• Watermelon Splitting [OFFENSIVE] - A two-handed, overhead slash meant to cleanly and precisely cleave an opponent's head in twain.
• White Fang [OFFENSIVE] - A two move combo in which Reo fires an uppercut to the opponent's head with the lead arm, then drives in a punch with the dominant arm from above. It must be stressed that there is virtually no delay between the two punches.

Trademark Techniques: Flash and kill [OFFENSIVE]Reo rushes full speed at the opponent, knocks them up into the air, and slashes them with the quick draw technique as they fall from the sky.

Ultimate Technique: Blazing Trail [OFFENSIVE] - Reo infuses his sword with nearly all of his ki and charges at his opponent. When close enough he unleashes the stored ki while slashing his sword around close to his opponent, the sword never actually touching them. Instead it leaves a trail of ki behind it which does hit them.

History: The oldest child of a female sword fighter and a well of merchant his parent hoped he would follow in his father's footsteps but never pressured him into it, knowing that that would have most likely have the opposite effect. When it became clear he was more far interested in learning to fight his mother was both proud of him, knowing he was a good person and worried because he might serious hurt.

When he was fifteen he convinced his uncle Fuyuki Matsuhita to train him in his family's seventy-five year old sword fighting style, and at first it seemed he would easily master it as he picked up on the physical aspect of it easily. However when it came to learning ki attacks, which was really the style's focus, he floundered. Eventually his younger cousin Emiko easily surpassed him despite starting training a year and a half later.

Fuyuki eventually told Reo that he wasn't suited for the Matsuhita-style of sword fighting but that he did real talent for non ki attacks. As a result his dream of creating his own style was born, though he stubbornly refused on giving up learning how to master ki.

The day he turned eighteen he left his village to travel the world and improve his skills, having decided to completely abandon what he learned from his uncle and start over from scratch. He quickly learned that traveling on his own while carrying a sword got him the wrong kind of attention and was forced to either improve or use some of the skills he had been taught. As a result his own fightingstyle was slowly starting to develop, though most of his own moves relied on either trickery, distractions or his sword since they were created spur of the moment.

Realizing the weaknesses that presented he decided that he needed both time and more examples to create better techniques and looked for a place he could settle down, and find plenty of other martial artists.

Other:He refuses to admit it but two of his best moves Cutting Shield and Blazing Trail are renamed Matsuhita-school techniques. His dream is to create his own fighting style that while not devoid of ki attacks doesn't focus on them and to teach it to others in his own dojo.

Equipment: He carries a simple but well made katana.

"Sorry about that, but you should really try to pay attention to your surroundings, even if you're busy with something." Danny didn't feel the need to mention that he too had had problems following that advice in the past.

It was a bit surprising to see Ed put the body of the lizard he was eating on his back but he figured the Dire Rat must have his reasons. As the two of them made their way to the cave entrance Danny tried to study how Ed moved, in an attempt to get an idea for how he might be able move without mana, making sure not to get lost in what he was doing.

While the timing of Danny running out of mana kinda sucked, at least it didn't happen during battle or while over the water seeing as he had no idea if his Wisp body would float though it did seem unlikely. Rather than try to drag his body over the ground he simply used Meditate until his MP was recovered, he did decide to try and come up with some skill for movement while out of Mana later. As soon as he felt recovered enough he set off to look for Ed, flying as fast as he could while keeping an eye out for the Dire Rat.

Eventually he spotted a Dire Rat seemingly fighting a lizard on a rock and hoped it was the one he was looking for. "Ed, that you? Jason wants us to go the entrance and examine that explosion."

The appearance of the unknown woman attacking the cyclops meant the plan the barbarian had come up with was ruined. Thokk wanted to facepalm at the poor timing but he couldn't hold it against her since there was no way she could have known. Given the circumstances he decided it was time for him to reveal his own magic and shot off an Chromatic Orb at the monster. Inspired by it's rusty armor he choose to deal lightning damage even though he didn't know if it was immune or not.

Danny wasn't too upset that his first attempt at Mana Dart failed, though he did wonder if he was getting close to running low on mana. Either way he figured one more try wouldn't hurt. He did everything the same but this time he tied using Lesser Force to force the mana to stay in the dart shape even after he launched it.

The instant he was done with his test something that was a more immediate concern caught his attention. He briefly wondered if he should check the source of the flash out on his own, after informing the others of what he was doing of course. However when he got closer to the Dire Rats he saw that Jason had joined them and they seemed to be fighting a wild monster while Ed had run off.

Speaking of Ed Jason wanted Danny to look for him and bring him to the entrance. He didn't like leaving them with an opponent but the slime seemed to think he could calm the wild rat down and Ed might be in more danger than them on his own. "On it. Which way did he go by the way?"
