@Tangletail Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with ending it early while also preparing to fight it in case the attempt fails

The part about the Corpselight being unusual had to mean she was a former human as well, part of him wanted to talk to her and see if she knew any useful skills she might be willing to share. The uncomfortable feeling he had wasn't something he couldn't ignore. Before he got his change though something else happened that seemed more important. A Goblin, female from what could tell, challenged Crispy who accepted.
He even missed Torrent shedding her skin entirely because his attention was focused on the the battle. Despite realizing that if he was seen floating near them Crispy probably wouldn't let him leave unharmed, he stayed where he was. As for as he knew the Flame-touched Goblin was the only monster in the cave capable of using Fireball, which he want to learn. On top of that knowing more about how the victor of this battle fought could only be useful. With that in mind he tried his hardest to conceal his presence while also analyzing the female Goblin.

It really sucked that his katana prevented Reo from entering the tournament but he understood the reasoning and even as a non-participant he could still see different techniques in action. In fact he had enough ideas for moves even without watching the semifinals he could no doubt develop his style a lot more, though it would no doubt take a lot of work to make said ideas feasible.
As a matter of fact with the semi finals still some time away Reo had decided to look a V.R training simulator to get some work in on what was probably the simplest and most basic idea he had. Sure he could no doubt find a real life match to try it out in but in order to put up a decent fight he would also have to rely on his katana and he had no desire of either hurting someone or getting arrested for taking a sword, currently hidden in a bag, to such a crowded event. @CaptainSullyMeaning that NPC's can be in the finals? I'm making sure for the same reason cause it would suck if the other four were basically forced into it
@CaptainSully If weapons aren't allowed during the tournament doesn't that mean that the other 4 characters would automatically be the semifinalists? Unless NPC's are able to reach that point.

When Milo heard how much beer his coin could get him as well as the fact that bartender would pay for it out of his own pocket he changed his order. Just like how Vlad head earned the dwarf's respect by ordering whiskey the warlock straight up ordering the strongest alcohol the place had impressed Milo. "Well well bird guy, seems like you don't mess around either when it comes to drinking."
As Danny got closer to the cave entrance what he saw was pure chaos. The closer he got the more chaotic things appeared. It looked like Asura was fighting the Skelebins, only for Jason to yell something and draw the attention of the other Slime. He really hoped he didn't have to get involved in their battle as he had no desire to fight against another Reincarnate.
While trying to think of a way to stay out of the Slime battle, he heard something that sounded like an explosion in the distance. Curious and worried about another fire he made his way towards, both staying close the cave ceiling and moving as fast as he could with the stalactites blocking his path. Eventually he saw a Goblin that he believed to be Crispy in the distance, and still convinced he had the best counter for the Goblin's Fireballs he switched gears. He dropped down a good bit in order to have a clear path and while concealing his presence in the hopes of staying unnoticed moved as as fast as he could towards the Goblin variant hoping to able to deal with his fire attacks if needed.
As he got closer to his target he noticed what he thought was a heavily injured Torrent and some strange looking Wisp which was probably a fellow Reincarnate since they were talking. Hoping he was right about the monster he decided to analyze it as he slowly got closer.
