@Dead Cruiser There are superheroes, yes! There are a lot of superheroes out there, many of which with their own academies, and are very invested in trying to find out where the supervillain academies are at. They're intended to be big villains of the villain rp, given that they're sort of antithetical to what villains are about.
There are other villain academies as well, but this one is particularly prestigious and well-regarded. Power origin can range from genetics, to magic radiation, to whatever honestly.

@canaryrose 1. I haven't really decided what country/region exactly, but I imagine that it's somewhere mountainous and surrounded by wilderness, to keep nosy superheroes and law officials from dropping by their door and causing trouble too often. The school, of course, has all the facilities that staff and students require, and I imagine they have ways of reaching nearby civilizations quickly.

2. The tuition is a pretty good sum, but students are offered scholarships and paid or waived tuition depending on circumstance. If they show strong promise, then it's likely that the school will go ahead and pay for them so they can get their grubby mitts on them.

3. It is modern era, so probably around the "current day", sans COVID. :) Hope these answers help!
