Yeah, Ollie's as liberal as liberal comes. I can't ever see him supporting something like the MRA. Individual liberties before all else.
Someone mentioned him -- I believe it was @Vandy -- but I don't know what the level of interest was.
I mean I was hoping for Batgirl before I ever got a Robin...

LALALALALA--I CAN'T HEAR YOU--LALALALALA--TOTALLY NOT ADDING TO MY SHORTLIST--LALALALALA...
After letting the decision stew a bit and listening to others' reasoning, I'm gonna cast my vote for @Morden Man. I think his concept gels just a little better with the overall universe, which only makes sense considering he's the architect of it all. Like @Vandy, I am a little worried that this Supes is coming across a bit too political, too sharp-edged, but I trust Morden's ability to get me to buy into it with time.

@Gowi, I love your Superman. Janitorial duties and facial hair preferences aside, he's classic. And in most RPGs, that's exactly what I'd gravitate towards with Big Blue. I did worry, though, that you had introduced a bit too much history. The Kryptonian invasion, for instance, feels like something that should happen "onscreen," as it were. However, as I said above, it's ultimately just the slightly better fit between character and universe that gave Morden the edge.

However the vote plays out, I can't wait to see what the other has in their back pocket.
Anyways, I still need to pick between Green Arrow or Catwoman. Which do you think would have more of an impact on the roleplay? If you want to see the sheet that I did from Catwoman, you can go here. And judge me on how horrible it looks.

Green Arrow is certainly the more "impactful" choice by virtue of being a potential Justice Leaguer/Avenger. Of course, impactfulness need not be the only metric by which you choose your character. If you'd rather play Selina, I say go for it.
Since my previous sheet went entirely against the whole one universe thing and stemming on the ultimate side of things, I was considering reapplying with someone else.

I had eyes on both Captain Marvel/Shazam or Ant-Man, both of which would be members of the Justice League if possible. I was leaning towards Ant-Man, as i thought someone who could shrink would suit nicely against the team's other more godly members. However I would prefer to play as Scott but i wasn't sure if that would be a feasible option?

Seems to me that if we're counting from Batman's first appearance, heroes have been around four years (three if we're counting the Superman/Magneto battle). Either way, I think there's wiggle room there to say that Hank had a brief Ant-Man stint already, leaving the door open for Scott. But of course, I have no power here, just thinking aloud.
At the same time, though, couldn't some of DC's metahumans be rebranded as mutants? I know in the last One Universe game on here that I was a part of, Beast Boy was one of the X-Men for instance.

EDIT: Rather, he was a student at Xavier's school, but you get what I mean.
I'm personally torn between the Supermen. If I could somehow squash the two together and distill them down to the points I love about both, this would be much easier. The decision is made all the tougher by knowing that both guys are exceptional writers. I'm gonna have to let this stew for a few hours more.
So hard to pick a character when there are so many to choose from....

Heroes I've considered:
Ghost Rider (Alejandra Jones), some version of Spider-Girl/Woman, some version of Wonder Girl, Jesse Chambers (Jesse Quick/Liberty Belle), X-23, Psylocke, Vixen, Husk, Miss Martian, Spoiler, and Karma.

Villains I've considered:
Menace, Fury the Goblin Queen, Ursa, Faora-Ul, the Beetle (Janice Lincoln), and Killer Frost.

Some of the above characters I've considered changing their alignments.

Yessss. Bring on the ladies.
The Punishers and Batman are approved.

The application process for Superman is now closed. You can read Gowi's application and then my application and cast your votes for who you think should be Superman. For the avoidance of doubt, we'll say only people that have been active in the OOC thread or expressed an interest in the Interest Check can vote - lest we suddenly be flooded by new created accounts with 6 posts in 1 day.
