I personally think that would be interesting. Especially if you stick with the original healer esq idea, gives them some unique dimension compared to your average healer. Not my say by any stretch, granted, but just my two cents.

If memory serves, in some of the Fire Emblems, staves were usable as weapons. Just not really good, but it let healers cherry tap things that attacked them to death. Memory is also shoddy, so who knows, eh?

Welp, if that's how it is I can make something about the Church of Naga being rude at some of the more simple levels. Soldiers without supervision are but marauders at times. Oh I would not worry about that waiting for injury thing to occur. Jerod will have this nasty habit of getting all sorts of banged up and nearly dead. He'll be a right pain in the arse for any healers about, sure as sure. Ain't that right, @Apollosarcher? But it is a valid point, to be fair, just wait until them healers have means to defend themselves right proper in advance classes. No more sitting back being generally bored!

Actually, thinking about it. . . They didn't have Light Magic in Awakening? I mean, if it's being added in with the Church of Naga crusade stuff sweet. But in the base I don't remember it at least. XD

Nope, no light magic in Awakening, it was just tomes and dark tomes. Anima and Dark, respectively! But yea, Apollo is adding it back in for the purposes of the Church of Naga being rude and crusading everyone's homes.

@Pyromania99 Lot of the mounted folks (Cavalier aside, there's one of them), healers don't seem to be terribly popular either. Those are the first two that come to mind, at least for me. Probably missing a fair number.
