You could make it more in line with other techniques where the techinque is simply acessing you "chi' or whatevs to let you preform feats of strength, occasional letting you strike harder, it'd be different than detection in that harder may not help, however it may also do more than detection in certain instances as well as let you do stuff like break down doors and punch through wooden pillars and what not.

Azura ran over to a job board quickly after once again scarfing down enormous quantities of food in a remarkably short period of time. "Hey, hey Cap'n, which one are we gonna do huh? They all look kinda boring but that just means we get to do more team bonding! Which one should we do?!" Perhaps you gain a boost to your own strength/magic based on the amount of bones around, living or not. You can sense other underworld magic due to your focus, for the same reason perhaps a boost at night or nightvision. Of course these aren't really mandatory so you don't need to worry about it that bad and we likely have some time before they would even be useful.
