Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Nice to see ya drop by, Fallen.
We did that with our RP 7 months ago and that worked well for us. Well, technically we also advertised in General IntCk.

The way we'd do it is simple, @NuttsnBolts. IntCk in both casual and advanced, then place the RP thread in advanced. Usually the RPs people question whether belong in those two fit perfectly fine within advanced parameters.
We vaguely recall someone asking for word counter before.
The forums are sorted based on when an RP was last posted in.

Still, we added it in.
We can arrange for ranoch to drop by and remove the bait, @Rtron.
This is not the correct place @Techbro. recruiting is done in the interest check sections (and to some degree in the introductions), not in discussion.

@HeySeuss@Ruby@Kangaroo@Sherlock Holmes
Could one of you move this where it belongs? (we're guessing 1x1 intCk)

Aye. we realized that (see last half of the above).

When we began writing it, we were thinking in the mindset of the rather larger character limit found on certain other forum frameworks.

Aye, @Melkor. We're discussing chat.

The Forum element of the guild needs no limiter.

In principle, someone could take the time and send a notification to everyone in the whole guild in a single post. Not sure why they'd bother to do so, but there's probably nothing that prevents them from doing so, other than the character limit per post. To cover everyone, they'd probably need to use a few posts.

True. a few people empowered a little would do a lot. But we still think some sort of system to deal with mass-notification would be very helpful...

Maybe a system that checks whether there are more than say, eight notifications in a single post, it disables the notification parsing for said post? That way, try to ping everyone, nothing happens.

is that feasible code-wise?
