Current I'm tempted to say "I've lost better friends than you" to a lote of people lately. I'm not sure what I ever want to say to the better friends that I've lost, though.

Bio

Twelve years ago, I said something on this website that continues to embarrassing me to this day. I was a stupid kid, like most, but I've never quite gotten the taste out of my mouth. Anyone who knew me at the time can tell you about it.

I love this website. I'm pretty sure my phylactery is stored wherever the webserver is and a significant chunk of me will just disappear when it ceases operation. Until then, it comforts me. I should go to the hardware store and paint my bedroom walls with the same soft, brownish grey that the background color has been for the last twelve years. Some of my friends can't wait for the site to go offline but I don't know of any other places that offer the same sense of community.

I'm an omni-gamer. I like board games, tabletop roleplaying games, admire tabletop war games, suck at riddles, and have an absurd library of video games. Survival horror is basically my favorite genre. Otherwise I'm a fan of esoteric, occult bullshit and punk rock. But disco's cool. Disco is what humanity sounds like when it chooses to be happy. Between you and I, I'd like to hope that the days of my life can sparkle like a disco ball, accreting like sparks from a grinder held up against the unwavering dark of deaths own shadow. Burn baby burn.

You and I, we're gonna die. We should be friends first, though. Write some checks we can't cash and make eachother smile. Make believe for a while.

A few days ago, friendo.

Great. Welcome back, bud. We could totally use a Wonder Woman over here.

I'd love to help you out NR, but I don't know if I can afford the time. I'll keep you posted.

It's all good. Such is the life of a roleplayer.
I'm interested. I won't elaborate until I see more information, though.

Didn't do that. Wasn't me.

Edit: Won't stop me definitely stealing that idea at some point though.

Whoever it was never actually made a post. Could've sworn it was you, though.

Yeah, EE was running Wondy and Deadman in that game; not Hawkman.

You guys know the drill. Make a CS (come on, you know you want to) or get outta my thread!

Edit: EEwhen did you come back?
@Nightrunner I believe being the Canadian here I would be the expert on the matter lol

But you Canadians are the ones who got it wrong in the first place!

Edit: Part of me wants to type "This is America!" But it's not
Hey, Night. I'm sorry to say, but I think I'm going to go ahead and bow out of this. I thought I could juggle all the Rp's I'm in, in this forum and another. Sorry.

It's all right. Hope our paths may cross again, Kindred. You're welcome to come back anytime it's more convenient.
@Nightrunner That's not how you use 'eh' lol.

I'm pretty sure. I mean, my inner language expert (and countless memes/television programs) say otherwise. Bugs Bunny, the ultimate Eh-user would probably back me up, or at least not say I'm wrong.
The word 'again' had no place in my sentence, "T'was a typo, eh", as the Canadians say. But yeah, just scan the rules over if you don't understand what I'm talking about.

I remember a guy going by @ErsatzEmperor applied for Hawkman once, it was a great take that casted Carter as the Emperor of a prospective invading warror society.

Depending on how you measure it, a case could be made for either of you to have known me longer. Lydyn was in the third game I ever played and Infinite Crisis, the first version of my first game, like two years ago and was the first person I ever coordinated a post with. But I've played with Wraith far more consistently, more or less, in the last year over the Guild and Iwaku, overcoming Guildfall and a complicated emotional issue.
@Lydyn@Predacon@Alan Hawke

All three of you are approved once again the time period has elapsed.

Why you ignore my important post, @Nightrunner? *Sad face*

Not purposefully doing so, just don't know what to say. Perhaps a different character could work better, one with less surrounding conditions like Hawkgirl or Wonder Woman, she's lived on an island of women all her life. But perhaps the Huntress may just not work out because of the timeline and theme of the game to be using the Golden Age as reference material.
I'm going to go with Uncle Sam. The CS is about halfway done, I'll probably post it tomorrow.

Look forward to it.

@Alan Hawke It's generally thin and simple, but I can't see anything really wrong with it. The height and weight need to be filled in, the fields are simple and up to you, just take your best guess. You put N/A under employment and affiliation, but I'd rather see the phrase unemployed or none. The other thing that stands out is your use of Central City, but Keystone City is the Golden Age counterpart. My critiques are minor, but if you deliver in the IC is important.
