Current I'm tempted to say "I've lost better friends than you" to a lote of people lately. I'm not sure what I ever want to say to the better friends that I've lost, though.

Bio

Twelve years ago, I said something on this website that continues to embarrassing me to this day. I was a stupid kid, like most, but I've never quite gotten the taste out of my mouth. Anyone who knew me at the time can tell you about it.

I love this website. I'm pretty sure my phylactery is stored wherever the webserver is and a significant chunk of me will just disappear when it ceases operation. Until then, it comforts me. I should go to the hardware store and paint my bedroom walls with the same soft, brownish grey that the background color has been for the last twelve years. Some of my friends can't wait for the site to go offline but I don't know of any other places that offer the same sense of community.

I'm an omni-gamer. I like board games, tabletop roleplaying games, admire tabletop war games, suck at riddles, and have an absurd library of video games. Survival horror is basically my favorite genre. Otherwise I'm a fan of esoteric, occult bullshit and punk rock. But disco's cool. Disco is what humanity sounds like when it chooses to be happy. Between you and I, I'd like to hope that the days of my life can sparkle like a disco ball, accreting like sparks from a grinder held up against the unwavering dark of deaths own shadow. Burn baby burn.

You and I, we're gonna die. We should be friends first, though. Write some checks we can't cash and make eachother smile. Make believe for a while.

@Nightrunner This is a One Universe game, not an Ultimate game. So you're going to have to rework that or do something else.

No sweat. I'll probably just ditch this character since the alterations are key to my attraction and overall plotline. And, not that this makes a difference, but it was a work in progress to display the concept (I know it's ugly and thin). Ye may want to add a fourth rule that says they more or less should be as they were, though. Nonetheless, I'll see if I find something.
Name:
Luke T’Challa Charles

Alignment:
Chaotic Good (A case could be made for Lawful)

Affiliation:
The Black Panthers

History:
Luke T’Challa Charles was born in the slums of New York City with both of his parents (Wakandan immigrants), until they divorced. His mother had custody over him before she slipped into prescription drug abuse and experienced a nearly lethal overdose, resulting in him becoming a ward of the state. His father disappeared and conveniently never received any of Luke’s messages. Surrounded by depressed orphans, cynical runaways, and juvenile delinquents, he felt horribly alone.

Several years pass. Now he is nineteen years old. He uses his middle name as a way of remembering where he came from. He lives by Hell’s Kitchen, but not actually within it. His overall health reflects years of eating fruits, vegetables, herbs, and grains. His closest associates, his makeshift family, is a community of Wakandan immigrants who, like his parents, moved to America after their homeland was overtaken by invaders. It makes him feel a sense of belonging.

The young men identify themselves as The Black Panthers, sometimes confused with the racially charged hate group, but unaffiliated. They are called so in reference to their heritage, traditions from the old country. And T’Challa has been recognized as the heir to the lost throne.

Supporting Cast:
Daredevil @Roman - Nearby vigilante - Friend? Foil?
Hunter Hatut - American Associate - Foil
Ororo Munroe - Fellow Wakandan descendant - Potential love interest
The Punisher(s) @Byrd Man - Almost definitely foil

How (if at all) does the New Frontier version of your character differ from the original?:
He is an African-American. He was raised in the States. He bleeds red, white, and blue and sings the national anthem, or at least he did until he rediscovered his heritage. A theme of this run would be the sovereignty of Nations, and what makes the difference between a street gang and an army. The history for the nation of Wakanda is altered: it was identical to 616 more or less until the 1940s, when Wakanda was overtaken by Nazi invaders and the natives were cast out. Also, this is rather minor, but there absolutely no magic herb involved in the story at this phase. The closest thing to traditional politics are interactions with gangs and cops for the time being.

....what do you want from me

A twisted, action packed, glorious Daredevil story with twists and turns. Also, that long promised tragic hero Harvey Dent arc.
It can be said that I've grown up with you guys. If I join, I intend to show just how much I've matured since I was fourteen. That said, I'll get on with business. I particularly look forward to seeing the delivery of Roman's Harvey Dent and Daredevil especially. I want to tell somewhat investigative adventure stories at the moment. Just trying to think of who to star.

I know Avanhelsing said he wouldn't be on for a while.

But has anyone heard anything from @nightrunner or @natsu? Because facepunch is right. And if so we need to do some rearranging of out team or get permission to use the characters or something.

Sorry, sirs and madams. Un momento.
Found a pleasing pic for Raph.
Raphael Crosshairs Linden

That flat-chested, pale skinned ginger never seemed to leave him alone. Bianca Beige had long antagonized him, if the fraction of the school year that had passed counted as a long time. But the troublesome part was that it was often completely without him propelling her. He couldn't tell if he was simply being weakly bullied or if she had a crush on him like some six year old schoolgirl.

After roughly forty minutes, or something to that effect, the bell relieved him of her teasing. It felt like he was just a tree, petrified while he was pecked at by a relentless little bird. She said something snarky, crinkling her nose and cocking her head, like her face was a t-shirt chucked into the corner of a teenaged boy's room.

Raphael hardly breathed as he, along with all his classmates, were funneled through the doorway and into the hall.

He wasn't late, but that hardly meant he didn't have to hurry. The ARC simulations were distant from his place on one of the upper floors in the Quadrangle. So he weaved his way through his classmates, pushing his chest between theirs. As he passed Bianca, he tugged on her hair like it was a bell before hearing her squeal.

"ammit, Linden," she growled. At that he was off.

One particularly exhaustive jog later, he stood in front of the Augmented Reality Center, anxiously waiting to see who was there.
The minute is up!

My minute continues.
Be out for just a minute guys.

Sorry
Tyler, that's a darn good post.
