@Restalaan

I more meant the getting a 1v1 duel in my initial statement. I don't know enough about Gringor to really tell what he's good and bad at in combat. I just know, these guys don't seem like the 1-on-1 types.
@Enkryption

That's the thing: Gringor invites that kind of challenge.

I'm just saying, based on the experience I had. There's inviting challenge and that, is all.
@PaulHaynek

Basically, Gringor is asking for a stand off (Ghost of Tsushima mechanic, for those who don't know.).

Considering these guys were more than willing to 3v1 Alice, I don't see that happening, honestly. Unless the dice roll in Grin's favour, and those dudes are stupid(ly honourable), and don't just jump him 5v1 (or Camp-on-1) with an attack that pressured Alice's durability and tested her spellswordplay.

Grin mighta bit off more than even he can chew. Just my 2¢, though.
@Dark Cloud

I feel that. A step back definitely helps. And, a fresh start is a great idea in this kind of situation. Best of luck to ya, man, and I hope inspiration strikes soon from one writer to another.
I'm sorry but I need to drop from the RP, apologies but I think I should not keep delaying things. And I felt kinda left with my hands in the air since Naku hasn't posted. Anyways, thanks for having me I enjoyed this a lot!

I'm not finna stop you, if you're dead set on leaving. However, I'm just curious... why don't you just write Sam OUT of the scene? Sam made the scene really awkward, which gives you the perfect out with Naku not posting as their character found him so cringe they didn't say anything in response.

As a result, you can legitimately just write that Sam beat a hasty, awkward AF retreat, and reset.

I agree, it's hella shitty that Naku left you to dry like that, and Kerry is out of the scene, so you can't bounce off her, but quitting is hella drastic, when you have the option to escape a scene.

"Always Leave Yourself An Out." Rule #0 of Interpersonal Interaction in RPs like this. People can just vanish, and you need to leave yourself an out, so you don't get trapped.
Hey all! I'm in a bit of a writing slump due to work exhaustion so I must postpone the update to, hopefully, the weekends.

Really sorry for the delay!

All good.

I swear, Alice will socialize - maybe - with the rest of the cast at some point, lol
@Rezod92

Yeah. At the very least. (Overworked + Epilepsy) x Sick = BSOD.

But, yes. Post is out! So, I'm happy about that part. Excited to get this rolling, and, somehow, some way, ACTUALLY FINISH a Fate Stay RP.
Reading over your post, @Rezod92, I just noticed some glaring typos I missed, because my internet provider died in the literal middle of this, and I had to finish on my phone.

That's embarrassing, lol
I feel, like, I'm starting to get into a groove with balancing Alice's split personalities. Kinda rusty at it.
"Peace, Mad Hatter. I am not here to demand anything from you." The young Oja greeted the yokai. "In fact, I only offer my apologies for not breaking the fight earlier. Eeeven if you, sorta, started the whole thing by transforming into a fully-armored warrior with a scary, glowing axe."

"A-Anyway, that's besides my point." Takeshi waved his hands. "I figured you must be tired from all... that. So, wanna ride? Kuro's a big horse, after all. Consider it my apology too."

It was true. Alice was tired. She’d expended a lot of energy on her back-to-back fights - barely having recovered from her real fight. The battle against Gringor was already forgotten; a brute was no challenge, nothing worth her memory. He was not worth her memory. In that same vein, she had written off the others in that moment; a flash fire did not selectively take victims, but all involved. Such was her temperament. Incinerated in her thoughts, burned husks of memories were all she would dedicate to the High Orc, the Wererabbit, and the Jurougumo, and the Jiangshi.

For a fleeting moment, those unforgiving flames of grudge reached for the Human before her, before she swatted them away with a mental sweep of her hand.

No.

He apologized.

Poorly. Sloppily.

Dared to place blame on Our defensive reaction as the catalyst...

...but, nevertheless... he apologized, as terribly as Humans do.

Eventually, he will burn you, as all Humans do.

Alice opened her eyes, and regarded Takeshi...

"I am not so tired that I cannot continue on my quest, however, I should opt for better supplies. My combat style is intensive on my Demon Energy - funny, we just called it "Magic" in Wonderland..." Alice smiled... a smile missing cheer; a sad smile that turned to a frown. "I’d like to shop for tonics to restore my Magic in combat," she says, mounting the offered horse, and riding sidesaddle like a proper queen. "If you know such a place that sells what I need, I would very much like to go there. Even if you don’t, marketplaces are always good places to ferret out such knowledge."

Despite being soft-spoken, Takeshi could tell it was no act; she was like this, defensive and demure, yet backed up by force and might... as if... she were two people... vying for control of one body.

He couldn’t be sure who was in control: Alice... or the other Alice? However, he wasn’t attacking or threatening him, so, at the very least, he could be comfortably sure that she wasn’t his foe.

For now.
