Especially since Dragons aren't in the habit of making deals in this universe...

All fair game, we are also very interested in traps and reverse-traps as they are very popular with the shine city community :)

I don't think I'd go that far- I don't think I'd be very good at it. But this seems a little outside of my usual writing comfort zone, so... I'll consider it. Thanks for the info~
@Dynamo Frokane This is probably a stupid question to ask, but there aren't any limits on sexual orientation, are there? Straight, gay, bi- they're all fair game?
EDIT: Hunters are seeming more and more like Shadowrunners to me as I write. I like this thematic connection.

FINALLY, someone else says it! I think I'm going to like you~
Short, shitty post. Yay for me.
Silas cringed slightly as he realized what was so odd about the dead creatures at his feet, grimacing at the dead bodies, with their wide-eyed, screaming expressions. Monstrous... He called Kazfiel and Sraosha to his side, his hands clenching into fists. He glanced over at Akoni, who was still pointedly ignoring him for some reason. He ignored the old mage, preferring not to get himself caught up in such a childish situation, and turned back to the demonic-hybrid corpse.

"I've... heard of things like this. Never seen them in person, though," he said, speaking generally to everyone present. "In this case, it's been very crudely done, growing the demonic flesh from the human like some kind of cancer. It's consuming them, rather than changing them like some other methods I've heard of. It's disgusting, is what it is." He turned to Fiametta, manifesting Pleiades floating in the air behind him.

"All right, first things first. This cult- is there a building, or even an area, that they center on or congregate around for their meetings? It would be advantageous for us if we could finish them all in one fell swoop, or at least come close enough that we can mop up the rest more easily. Secondly, we should rendezvous with your associates, whomever you came here with- it will be easier if we can all organize and plan together, as a group. And we should do it quickly; every second we waste is another second this cult could mutate someone else, or their... abominations could hurt innocent people."
Hello...?

==~==

Mako's eyebrows raised as he saw the larger male student next to Sato, who was glaring at him for some inscrutable reason. Mako glared back, which may not have been the best idea, but if his Shadow was anything to go by, he needed to be more open with his emotions. Well, here's me being more open with my emotions, glaring at some douche with an attitude problem. No big deal. Sato attempted to look natural- at least, that was what he assumed he was trying to do- and only marginally succeeded, knocking over his bow, loudly. Spiky-haired douche laughed. Mako's glare intensified slightly.

"I see you got my text," said Sato, picking up the bow he'd knocked over. Spiky Hair took exception to this almost immediately.

"Oh, you can text this guy but not me?" he butted in, bumping Sato in the shoulder, quite deliberately. Mako's glare upgraded from "you are an annoyance to me" to "I will disembowel you if you touch him again." A few seconds of this, and the larger student scoffed, acting tough.

"Oh, I see how it is! Well, whatever. I wanted to get some practice in anyway. You better talk to me later, asshole." With that, Spiky Hair grabbed a handful of arrows and stormed off toward the firing line. Mako grit his teeth, then neutralized his expression as he looked at Sato.

"Um, anyways... I'm glad to see that you're back at school. If you want to talk about the whole, um, 'thing', then I'm pretty much free. To talk." Sato rubbed the back of his head as he said this, looking painfully awkward with the situation as it had transpired. Mako glanced sidelong at Spiky Hair, breathing a deep sigh, then looking back at Sato with a raised eyebrow.

"Are you sure? You wouldn't want to go see what Mr. Personality over there desperately needs your presence for?" Mako's mouth twisted into something that might have been a smile if the subject wasn't so distasteful. He shook his head. "What exactly was all that about, anyway? ...Doesn't really matter, I guess. If you're still up for telling me about... certain current events, I suppose I can wait until you're done with practice so he doesn't have an aneurysm about you. We can go grab something to eat or something...? Up to you."

Name: Samuel
Roleplayer Guild User Name: EnterTheHero
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Powers: Fafnir Knight; Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold- Samuel's- or rather, the Fafnir Knight's- powers are somewhat varied, though they have a general theme of manipulating elemental energy- particularly fire, ice, and lightning (lightning is his favorite)- to enhance his physical blows. His signature ability is the Fafnir transformation, which greatly increases his physical prowess, durability, speed, and elemental control, even allowing him to use extremely powerful elemental blasts, though this is very draining to him. He can also charge his abilities for even greater potency.
Personality: Samuel is typically a very calm, erudite person- it takes a lot to get under his skin, and he's normally very kind and caring to those he considers friends. However, there is a potentially dangerous amount of anger and passion bubbling just under the surface, that can explode with great force should he be sufficiently riled. Being snatched from your multiverse into another against your will is probably a good way to do that...

He's also secretly (or not-so-secretly, he just finds it impolite to talk about it) kind of a massive pervert, with the potential of being very flirty and suggestive when he's in the mood. For obvious reasons, he's very much not in the mood at the moment.
Backstory: Before being dragged through space and time to gods know where, Samuel was an arts student, an aspiring animator, freelance writer, and happily engaged to his fiance, Aden. Obviously, some things have changed greatly, as he's now been brought to the domain of the Golden God... and it doesn't look like he's going back anytime soon...
Vert cringed as Orange Gem- now on the ground, thankfully, or not, hard to say just yet- touched her, and she felt the sparks from her body leap at the contact. She frowned- she was going to have to rein this in if she was going to coexist with anyone or anything, much less other Gems. She turned to face Orange Gem, who looked to be feeling rather fearful and timid herself. In spite of herself, Vert felt some of her own distress dissipate as she sympathized with her distress.

I suppose she is a Newborn- she's probably quite confused, what with no one around to tell her what she's for. She felt another twinge of anger at Homeworld at that thought, then focused on addressing Orange's concerns.

"Different species...? Uh, no, I don't think so, but--" She flinched suddenly as she was cut off by a very loud "PEW" noise very close to her, and she turned sharply toward the source of the sound to see Other Green, his eyes still glowing brightly. She followed where his gaze went, and noticed a scorch mark on the wall, just above his head. Vert turned back to Other Green, raising an eyebrow and backing away from him by a few inches.

Note to self: do not let Other Green look directly at you. She shook her head, almost imperceptibly, then turned back to Orange and continued on.

"As I was saying, they're not a different species. Probably... but they may as well be. It's not a matter of creation or chemical makeup, it's about temperament. Homeworld has rules, see, and bad things happen when you break those rules. And there's a lot of rules- rules about who you are, what you're allowed to do, to feel, to think, all because of how you're built, and what purpose they decided for you before you were even made. Homeworld tells you what to do and expects you to do it, and then punishes you if you refuse or fail to do what you're told. They're... unfriendly. I know that from experience.

"But these ones,"
she said, gesturing at Aqua, Sodalite, and Red Gem, "they don't act like that, do they? I mean, when's the last time you were hugged by-- right, Newborn, stupid question to ask of you. Look, my point is, these Gems are acting like they actually care about you and the rest of us. And I've never seen Homeworld care about anything but itself. I wouldn't trust any of those Gems as far as I could throw 'em."

She looked back down at where Aqua and Red Man Gem- now to be known as Blood... something, she couldn't quite catch it- were conversing. She looked square at Blood-thingie, still terrified, but there was another thing rising up in her, something she hadn't felt in a long time: anger. It felt kinda good- better than the fear, anyway. She swallowed, and then, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything, and shouted down to the Homeworld group.

"You hear that, Blood... rock... something? I-I'm not listening to you anymore! So... s-so please just, g-go away, and leave me- us- alone!" She paused for a long time after shouting this, suddenly feeling very self-conscious, and stepped back next to Orange, still shaking and sparking erratically.

Not too close to Orange, then...
