Imma be joining ze Team Super-Awesome-The-Best then. Because Frog-Prince-Seductor is in the other group.

That being said...it would be nice if there were more posts, unless everyone's waiting on Konica.
Had she cause to worry when the Saurids had first began their assault on the drop pods? Perhaps she would have, but Hu-Shi, for the first mission with her team, decided to trust in the piloting skills of the leader of the team, who doubtlessly had much more experience in these landings than she did. While the Chinese pilot did know the basics of manoeuvring a drop pod, she never delved deeply into it, partly due to not having many chances to, and partly because it didn't play that big a part in her marks. Nevertheless, she busied herself with scanning over the status of both Core's drop pod, as well as those of Rapid and Overwatch, making sure that there wasn't something missed by the eyes of her teammates. The effectiveness of the acidic assault was short-lived though, and even though there were warning displays on her HUD, showing temperatures outside had gone beyond that in which a human could survive in. It was nice and cool in the AWE though. After all, she was sitting on a freezer full of ice cream.

With a shudder and a boom that were both respectively dampened by the shock absorbers and sound cancellers built into the Chrome Ex-Road, Hu-Shi nodded at Thessalia's announcement as her AWE's mechanical fingers found their grip on the cleaver-like Dragonslayers. Following the tunnel in the smoke that Hagelstrum left in its wake, the AWE swivelled 180 degrees from side to side, insuring that its ball joints were undamaged from the descent, before Hu-Shi leaned forwards. With a mighty rumble, the bright red Chrome Ex-Road emerged from the smoke, with the same majesty as a tank during the first World War, centuries past. She smiled and saluted the foot soldiers nearby, before revving up the core of the AWE once more, cruising towards the bridge at a nice, steady pace of 40km/h.

“Core 1, I'll be making contact with hostiles in ten seconds. Please cover me,” Hu-Shi said, cheerily. It was good to keep a positive tone, after all, especially in such a stressful, violent situation.

Ten seconds later, Chrome Ex-Road smashed into the first Saurid, a few tons of metal reducing the Tearer into a flattened blob of flesh as the tank treads rolled over it. Humming a cheery marching tune, the Chinese girl drew out the Dragonslayers, and finally began to get to the meat of the issue. Undeterred by the Saurids that approached, the metal juggernaut spun and swung, accelerating now to a speedy 65km/h as it smashed through enemy ranks, the barrier coating keeping alien matter off the shiny paint coat of the AWE.

It was nice, really, fighting in an urban environment against enemies that didn't even have hidden railgun turrets to turn you into swiss cheese.

Spinning, not stirred, with artillery on her side, Hu-Shi set her swords to her sides as she turned the Chrome Ex-Road into a spinning top.
Hm, out of curiousity, by City, do you mean that they'll be living in different cities in the real world?

So, what did I miss? Looks like a million things happened ICly.
The history's sorta dark, in retrospect.
"Hey this life ain't really so great!"
But those words are hanging on my tongue.
"Am I really as good as they say?" I'm not very fun, why can't I just run?
That's it! I am leaving this life! But the words just never come to light.
"God you're making me cry now!"
Yet I hold back the tears and pocketed them away.

Name: Kalri-Qua
Age: 1015
Race: Belongs to the long-extinct tribe of the Bishies, as their princess and the sole surviving member of the once almighty race.
Appearance: Kalri-Qua is, like most princesses, someone who appears delicate and weak, a figure to be protected. In terms of her build alone, she seems like a fragile rose, standing only at 5'4. Her build is, at first glance, slim, slender, and generally, not very imposing. Yet, underneath her clothing, Kalri-Qua is a hardened person, her build not slender, but sinewy, maintained through constant exercise. She holds herself like that of a young, noble prince, instead of a princess, and thus, exudes the image of what one would consider a beautiful rose with sharp thorns. A treat for the eyes, regardless of whether one was male or female.
Job: Bisexual Harem Prince(ss)
Skills & Abilities
Bishie Sparkle Power – The origin of Kalri-Qua's ability to charm so many comes not from her actual physical features, which, while greater than most princesses in this day and age, but from a certain scent that her body gives off. It causes the body to release endorphins, giving off a pleasurable sensation to all those nearby her. Simply by being in her presence, people feel good, and that sensation, as well as her own dashingly good looks, makes it rather easy for her to look better than she actually is. However, one thousand years of having a magically frozen body has stunted her ability quite a bit, to the extent where Kalri-Qua is no longer able to charm the masses simply by walking on the same street as them. Now, it requires physical contact, or the exchange of bodily fluids.

Pedigree of a Princess – Kalri-Qua, in the standards of those of a bygone millennium, could be considered a well-educated, learned individual. Now though, her knowledge of six languages is obselete, since those are ancient tongues that have little application, her mathematics skill is more along that of being only good at 'simple' stuff, and her skill with the stick is heavily countered by the fact that people use sharp metal weapons now. Nevertheless...at least she has a strong foundation?

Love in the Crossfire – If there's one thing that Kalri-Qua's good at, though, is that her ability to sing, combined with a little bit of magic, allows her to have a monumental effect on a large amount of people. So potent is her ability that she can even create the illusion of having instruments accompany her singing, and people have been known to physically become stronger, faster, and sturdier while listening to her music. Unfortunately, the reverse doesn't seem to apply, even though she CAN make people feel depressed and emo and wrist-cutting if she applied herself.

Inventory: Kalri-Qua's a princess, and even though her kingdom is long dead, the weird woman who found her and destroyed the spell that bound her provided her with a rather fashionable Bag of Holding. Within that bag are everything that a princely harem princess could ever need, from makeup, to fresh veggies, to a billion classy evening gowns and suits. As well as a beautiful sword that she's still learning how to use without injuring herself. Even though the sword is really just a ceremonial one that's sorta useless for actual combat.

Description: One thousand years ago, the continent was not split up into multiple kingdoms, but united as a single, massive empire, led by the Bishies, a race of extraordinarily beautiful beings that conquered the world not through military, diplomatic, or cultural might, but simply through the power of love. With the unique ability to appear pleasing to all other races, they united all other races in what historians would call the Dynasty of Moe. Rebellions were crushed not by whatever superior physical strength or magical talents that the Bishies had, but by the hordes of harem members they had under their control. Even wild beasts wished no harm to them, and it could be said that in the Dynasty of Moe, there was not a single person amongst the Bishies that wanted anything. Excessive wealth was easy when the whole race was universally adored.

It was, however, the birth of the Harem King's daughter that such a powerful dynasty fell. Kalri-Qua, at birth, was an exceptional Bishie, one who had such a captivating beauty to her that even others of her kind noticed her. With the delicate features of a princess, and the commanding, noble aura of a prince, she embodied the best of both worlds. Amongst the commonfolk, she was a star, something that could only be admired from afar. For the nobles, she was a person that they would have no qualms with serving. And for her father, she was the one person in the world that deserved to be immortalized.

Poisonous flowers were to be cut.

Diseased flowers were let to become wilted.

Beautiful flowers were to be preserved.

And such a proper flower could only be brought into existence through careful cultivation.

Her childhood, as such, filled with nothing short of the greatest tutors that the continent had. All the languages of the races were within her grasp. She could multiple three-digit numbers in her head. She mastered the concept of the 'water cycle'. Her mastery of stickmanship was comparable to that of a normal human knight. Her ability to sing could bring people to their knees, or rouse them into action. Her personal harem was filled with only the finest princes and princesses, all vying for her hand in marriage. She lived a blessed life for 14 years.

In the 15th year, the king announced that, as a symbol of the pinnacle of Bishie development, the finest mages of the Dynasty of Moe would encase Kalri-Qua in diamond ice, preserving her for all of eternity. There were those who supported it, for they wished not to see their idol slowly become withered by the cruelty of time. There were those who were apathetic towards it, for they never even had the pleasure of seeing the princess of the Bishies. And then, there were those who were heavily against it, for they wished to see their princess become a queen, so that she could give birth to many, many, many more Bishies of the same calibre as herself.

There were only a few who wished to save the princess from such a fate, simply because they wished for her to enjoy living her own life.

But most of those failed heroes were killed the first day of the civil war.

In a bloody, quick, brutal affair that lasted only three days, all traces of the Dynasty of Moe, all their cultural achievements, all their great buildings of gold and silver were brought to dust by the sheer ferocity of the battle. Love and hate were two sides of the same coin, after all, and there were none spared from the violence. Kin fought against kin in order to bring about their ideal ending for the princess. The sky rained blood in the first world war. The fields were littered with corpses, and to the winners went the spoils. As each Bishie died, their master-less harems went into a maddening frenzy.

And in the climax of the war, the king of the Bishies, with his dying breath, spoke the last spellwords required to preserve the daughter that he loved and lusted for.

The war ended. The entirety of the Bishie race, which had always been a physically weak one, was wiped out, other than the princess. She laid buried in the ruins of a dead civilization, forever preserved in the moment of her nation's destruction. Her eyes were glassy, her clothing was bloodied, her cheeks were wet with tears.

For one thousand years, the princess of calamity that brought the downfall of the greatest kingdom in history with her mere presence stayed there, her time frozen.

And after those one thousand years, a woman by the name of Miri found her, and restarted the broken clock.

Kalri-Qua now aids a party of princess-kidnappers in order to repay that debt, and to witness all the changes to the one thousand year world of yesterday.
37 posts in a week is pretty...fast. Gotta look at the long-term trend, man. XD That being said, it should be final exams for the high school kiddos soon, so that might be why.
Might just be because I'm lazy and haven't memorized who belonged to which teams yet, but can you peeps, for future posts, put up a header saying which team you're on? Please? <3
Right, so tomorrow, I'll have a CS up and stuff. Meaning that today, expect some PM questions.
