In cases like these, his Boundless Blade really will be used for mundane purposes, wouldn't it? Then again, he's used his spell for those purposes before. After all, when supply lines are cut, it was generally up to Savaniel to provide for his men, if they didn't want to resort to hunting for monster-meat or cannibalism.

From within the dark clouds, lightning crackled and thunder boomed, a spring tempest that was scaled down to 'plug' into a hole eaten by a monster.
He allowed his benefactor of a witch to leave, before promptly dropping the thunderclouds into the pit.
