Divine Light/Hero She shows up when she is called. Very much a ‘behind-the-scenes’ type of hero, she can see the big picture. She often employs other heroes to help her in causes of good.
She has been in Nova City for the past year, drawn to it from the darkness gathering. In that year, she has spent considerable time gathering intelligence on the prominent villains. There are many heads of the serpent beast she has uncovered, and she knows she will need help to cleanse Nova City.
Her birth was special. Born with wings, and her halo manifested early on, she was noted as a ‘divine child' by global news before she disappeared from the public view for years on end. It is only recently that she has made her appearance, ready to lend a hand to help the world.
Power: Divine Light
Auri's Divine Light can be divided into the following subsections.
Darkness DetectionAuri is able to detect how dark a person is (how evil they are), and where they are (roughly). Her area of detection is about a city's worth wide. She uses this to detect the coming and goings of criminals, where evil is collecting in the city, and which places are worth a closer investigation. She also uses this to judge if a person's actions or words are dark or light, which is handy as a lie detection.
Darkness Bane / White Light CreationAuri is able to generate white light, which feels warm when it touches good people, and burns and sears when it touches evil or dark people. She can generate beams, balls, or coat objects like her sword in this light. The more evil a person is, the more painful and devastating her light is, able to disintegrate bones for the most evil.
FlightHer wings and halo are permanent manifestations. Her wings allow her to fly in a versatile manner for up to as long as a half hour before she has to rest. She has the same speed of flight as a bird, so she can fly fairly fast. She can carry someone while flying, but will exhaust herself twice as fast.
