- ✦ A young man is sent into the mountains as a last-resort ritual offering to whatever ancient creature resides there, to keep it from slaughtering their people. While usually the creature receives food or gold, he is surprised to find a shivering, live human collapsed in the mouth of his cavernous home. (Looking for: The Creature, which can be anything from a dragon, to a forest spirit, to an old god, to whatever monster your beautiful brain wants)
