Its difficult to determine the exact year, but the last recordings of widespread sightings of other races and instances of magic were made during the 5th and 6th centuries. Since then, the wider world has become largely ignorant of its existence, thanks in no small part to the people in power in that age. They went to great efforts to bury any trace of the other world. and though both creatures of fantasy and the mystical world of magic still exists, it does so in secret.
