So we're setting it in a school, can I call dibs on not being a teacher but, like, the guidance counselor? I'm going for the 'hey, he's the cool staff member' and there's never been a cool guidance counselor so let's buck the trend.
@ViolentViolet Considering that, if you're still going for a delinquent, our characters would be from the same path (that being troublemakers) if you want them to have known each other or anything, that'd be a-okay. Like be they former friends, a fling, mortal enemies, or nothin' at all. Just lettin' it all out.

@lovely complex Whenever an anime inspired or thematic RP rolls around I have this thing where I base it on the same type of anime trope that I live, breath, and go absolutely ga-ga for.
Darian is actually a buck in the trend from my usual type of character (though I was really, really, realllllly tempted to go back to the well of 'cool, tomboy senpai I want to be noticed by') though even she has traits from some other anime characters I adore and gush over

@Slendy If it were an anime there would have to be a main protagonist that everyone eventually fawned over because they were just the best
I'm sure once the IC gets up and we get out of the realm of head canon that it'll work itself out naturally.

For the record, Darian does have her eyes on someone. But who, exactly, will remain a secret until the reveal makes the most dramatic impact. Until then, her plan is to find a way to make everyone miserable because, pssh, crushes are lame.
