Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

'envy-inducing appearance' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
A few hours.

To some that might've seemed like a minor issue, a small matter, but to Diana it was far too troubling. Her sisters could all have been routed in a few hours, fires could be rising from the ashes of the trees...her home could've been lost without her in those precious few hours. All she could do was hope that the attackers, whoever they were, were merciful, that senseless slaughter wasn't their goal...that her fellow Amazons could retreat away to formulate a plan of counterattack. "It's Themyscira," Diana responded, though further revelation was put on hold as Clark...as Superman sprang into action.

Diana didn't want to just sit back helpless, not when Superman didn't know what he was up against. For that matter, Diana didn't either...but she had at least some experience with their tactics...minor though it may have been. She rose to a seated position, surveying the damage she had sustained in her first encounter with the group. She wasn't healed to full, there were still visible scars and bruises along her arm and torso, but the major gashes and slashes had healed nicely in those few hours. Regardless of her condition, it didn't suit her to just sit there and do nothing.

Diana rose from the hospital bed, stepping onto the floor with a few brief wobbly steps. She was standing, that was the main thing, but she had taken too long...or perhaps Superman was just that fast - she went with the former just to make herself feel the tiniest bit better- because as she turned to the door, in he walked as if he had just gone down the hall to the vending machines. "Did they get you?" She asked, a sense of concern clear in her tone of voice. "First you feel a sudden pain and then you feel...weak. I imagine it's how you feel around kryptonite. One second I was besting them...the next I was here."

She paused, offering a solemn shake of her head in remembrance. "The question is...were they after me or you? They attacked Themyscira in larger numbers...the ones here could have been sent to finish the job. I have to help them." Again she was back to the notion of helping, well aware in her head that the situation was getting complicated by the second.
That moment when you post at like the same time as someone else
At first, Dijah hadn't even realized the bell had rung. It was not at all unusual for the tall transfer student to put her head down after lunch and find herself dozing off. The sight was surely bizarre to those that took note, after all she had to bend her body forward rather awkwardly just to have her cheek reach her desk...which of course then had the unfortunate side effect of her neck being absolutely sore upon waking up. Today was no exception as her eyes opened only after she heard the sounds of feet moving and people talking. No one had thought to wake her, that was unfortunate. Maybe everyone just thought that the sleeping giant would be cranky after a nap.

Dijah grabbed her bag, which had her decks of cards rather than her schoolbooks or anything more school related, and rolled her neck around her shoulders before rising to her feet. Only here at the Academy did Dijah feel like a giant, she remembered on her first day she was accidentally bumping into the tops of doors and being asked in as polite a way as possible if she could crouch forward while taking notes - this was before they wised up and put her in the back of any given classroom. Being in the back had its advantages, such as being able to doze off during class and being able to leave first for lunch.

Dijah exited the classroom and stepped out into the hallway; some students waved at her, a way of thanking her for their fortunes having recently been read and, hopefully, coming true. She hoped she wouldn't be hounded by some of the more sporting of her magical peers, she was running out of excuses as to why she didn't want to join them in their athletic activities.

"Oh!" Dijah said after nearly stepping on the hand of someone grabbing a fallen book. "Ah!" She exclaimed as she looked down at the two who were on the floor. "Is the nekochan!" Dijah still didn't have a full grasp on the language, with her slight awkward pronunciations and her own accent bleeding through. "And...and you!" Dijah nodded towards the one helping with the book problem. "A game? Why do you sit on the floor, nekochan? I almost step on your tail!"

@VitaVitaAR That just makes the harem even funnier. The males think that they have this harem of cutie cutes and then the ladies are just like "Yeah sure harem, whatever, what's up, boo?" to each other
@Write Kei and Naomi are weeping openly. It's a sad scene.
That's good! Glad to get this one going, excited to see where it goes
