Name: Veronica BryantAge: Twenty SevenZodiac: GeminiEthnicity: Caucasian. Irish-AmericanGender: FemaleOccupation: Cartoonist

Height: 5'6"Weight: Rude to ask. Like so rude. But it's like less than 150 but not by a whole lot?Build: Is there a word for 'has some chub in the thighs'? Let's go with a little pear shaped.Eyes: BlueHair: Muddy BrownSkin Tone: A fair tanned pale. Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Veronica has a tattoo of Snoopy on her right shoulder. No piercings. No scars that ever lingered.
Personal Style: It's quite clear that Veronica is not exactly someone that has a great eye for fashion, but that's never really bothered her. She's not in the industry or anything. Hers is more comfortable rather than practical or stylish, often wearing casual clothing that's mismatched and frequently wearing the same shirt or pants more than one day in a row.
Her favorite articles of clothing are shorts and skirts or really anything that lets her show off her legs, which in her eyes are the only thing physically that she can be proud of. Her shorts tend to be of the denim variety and her skirts tend to be flared. She never styles her hair in any particular way, just letting it flow naturally, though she does brush it in the mornings. She does have some standards after all.

Sloppy * Sarcastic * Independent * Rude
Sexuality: BisexualRelationship Status: Single for the better part of twenty seven years nowPersonality: There's a very clear reason as to why Veronica has had such difficulty in having dates call back after the first time out and it might have something to do with how she acts and speaks. Veronica is a woman who missed the memo on certain social graces, such as covering her mouth when she has to belch or making rude, often vulgar, comments. It's sort of childish, her behavior, but her stubborn refusal to change herself has pretty much dug her own grave when it comes to the dating world.
But that doesn't really bother her, she's happy enough with who she is and really only considers dating because often it's a way to get a free dinner out of it. Or at least a cheaper one when they go Dutch about it. Her sense of humor is more tongue in cheek than outright witty, responding in sarcastic tones and searching for the right sorts of puns to fit a situation. Some find that annoying since Veronica always wants to be the one to come off as funny when her sarcasm is more mean spirited than anything else.

History: Veronica was born in Waterford, Ireland but her father moved the family to America when Veronica was just about ready to enter kindergarten. She is an only child and in that way was rather spoiled as a kid, with her parents both working and providing to ensure that there was always food on the table and presents for a birthday. The Bryants took frequent trips to Ireland to see the extended family but Veronica never really seemed to get along with her cousins and grandparents, seeing the trips as nothing more than boring vacations.
The landscapes of her home country were what led to her picking up the drawing utensils in the first place and by the time she was entering high school she was spending more time doodling than doing homework. She wasn't a dumb kid by any stretch, but she only ever skated by, maintaining her middle of the road average due to her caring more about drawing than whatever happened in history or literature. Her college experience was two years before she decided that it just wasn't for her.
So with no degree, Veronica moved back in with her parents where she lived until she was twenty six. During her early twenties she was forced to work minimum wage jobs, working her way up the ladder at a McDonald's until she got a letter in the mail informing her that her cartoon 'Swingles' was going to be syndicated in national newspapers. The comic strip is a humorous take on being single in the modern world, drawing frequently from her own experiences. The hardest part of her new job was meeting the deadlines, daily strips really take more time than she initially thought. Still, the job was enough to live off of, much to the joy of her parents, and it comes with enough free time for her to indulge in her other hobbies.
Veronica would like to take her drawing talents to the realm of graphic novels, which she works on in her spare time, but so far no one's interested in publishing anything other than collections of Swingles strips.

Character Quote: "My best friend is a pencil because pencils, unlike people, don't care that you forgot to brush your teeth that week."Theme Song: Comeback Kid by Sleigh BellsAnything Else: Irish Catholic, but she doesn't attend.
