e3 2016 was a waste of everyone's time
Except for, you know, the developers who got to show off their work and the unjaded folks of the internet that still exist out there but people are just upset that it wasn't as cringe worthy as years previous.
E3 has always been a waste of everyone's time do people not remember when conferences used to be about sales figures first and games second? it is the same thing except now instead of financials it is product specs because E3 isn't just 'the place where new games are announced' but 'here are the plans for this million dollar industry to keep being a million dollar industry with new hardware'. This is why Microsoft had their new Xbox model and VR was all over the place people have these super high expectations for E3 and it doesn't make any sense at all.
