Groh sucks but it's his first game, he has time to develop into something more mildly interesting like Raiden from MGS.
Mitsurugi has been in every goddamn game and he's still the 'focused samurai badass with honor' so I hold him to a slightly higher standard.

It's a fighting game; there isn't a fighting game on the market that has anything close to a round character but in a franchise of characters who trade on appearance and familiarity with regards to their gameplay aesthetic, Groh manages to stick out like a sore thumb in every regard. He feels like the mangaka added guest characters from 4. He's not going to grow into anything interesting and that you use Raiden as an example is laughable since Raiden post-MGS 2 is an example of how not to do a character.
Groh is a special kind of suck. He's down there with Patrokolos.
And for the record, and because I like it when you make assumptions and are incorrect about them, I main Ivy.
