Something isn't a 'hot take' because you decide it is, and its not 'aggro' when I snark about your snarky opinion on a video game.

Something is a hot take when someone pulls an opinion that is often controversial or against the grain. I used the term correctly in this case. It's not like I'm the arbiter of what is and isn't a hot take, I just know a hot take when I see one. My snarky opinion doesn't come with petty attacks at other users for their language in a separate thread, nor do you ever seem able to respond without dragging something else through the mud.

Any time someone comes in with an opinion you come in with the hot take and get aggro when pressed until you pull the "just trolling, brah" shit as if that makes it better. Instead of offering up, like, any bit of conversation regarding RDR 2 you just go "shit's overrated, here's a horse testicle lol such grafix". That's not you trying to talk about Red Dead Redemption 2. That's you dumping on a game that many people, with good reason, are genuinely hyped for.

I get that I'm not free of sin for thread derails but god damn does a game have to have anime girls in it for you to not dump on it.

Yeah sure the zombie pirate is so interesting. I can't wait for him to pursue the Soul Edge again and again and have problems with his daughter again. Having a hat doesn't make a character interesting. No one in SC is interesting beyond their design and even then a lot of them are overdesigned like the cast of V. There isn't a single fighting game character that is interesting because of their character across any franchise.
