Hey guys I just wanted you to know that tomorrow I'll be leaving the state for a bit of vacationing. Normally I'd hope to at least bring a laptop, but it seems that those involved in this vacation aim to ensure that they have my undivided attention. I.e. I might not be on as often as I'd hoped. It should last for about a week or two.

Lovely but know that feeling. Have fun Lucius and I'll try to maintain as much of the ongoings as I can while you're away, so on that note....How is everyone?

For the actual space battle I recommend that Forsythe and yourself do it in a collab. If you want an intermediary add myself or Echo into the discussion to make sure everything is fair in love and war.

Will do, I've got the start already mostly written out and will start a pad for it shortly. Currently on a computer at the library and might, depending, hop into the chatroom. >_>

Pretty sure that people who smoke frequently wouldn't pass the intense physical requirements of SG ground personnel. After all, the requirements for such are considerably higher than the requirements for regular military in most nations.

Depends....he still might be able to get, despite passing the physical test- not to mention the amount he smokes- (not looked at it yet) which might allow him to still pass.

Sigh... I was about to suggest making the briefs a large collab so at least those, like Kay, could interact but may its best to fade them out completely.

Time had passed slow in the early minutes before the debriefing, her tactic of distract had worked for the most part, as she sat within the room and waiting for Captain Black to arrive. The clock ticked by inch by inch until the sound of the room's door opened and in came the prim uniformed woman, her face fixed in a business like expression. It was pretty clear to Kay where Captain Black's mind was: upcoming mission. There was clear tiredness upon the woman's face, her hand waved all, included Kay herself, to remain seated as she took her own. After tapping a control, the screen behind came alive with dots.

In the moments to follow, Captain Black began to summarize the prior knowledge and provide the outline of their current plan to seize the Langara once more. Though Kay had little head for strategy, she could see the risk and the military sound behind it. The only thing which concerned her was the time frame. So little time and from she could see, the odds were against them in that aspect.

Kay was considering a way to increase it when Captain Black rose from her chair and approached her, delivering the most recent details from IDF. Both Col. Blaze's recall and her recent promotion were a bit of a surprise, her mind now numbed from seeking a solution to the matter of the limited timeframe turned to her newly acquired responsibility. Kay inhaled and tried to keep her reserve, her figure rose to her feet and reached out to retrieve the new insignia patch from Black's outstretched hand.

She nodded her reply then added in a softer tone. "I'll do my best to ensure that, Sir."

Slowly Kay returned to her seated posture as Black looked across the table and pointed to the first person.

She decided now was the time to voice her worries, though she hadn't enough time to determine a solution. "The time frame, isn't much and against at least 3 Ha'tak will not make it easy. Is there anyway to delay their response time in order to increase it? At least delay their reaction?"

I can wait another day Fallen, I'm just incredibly weary of this RPs tendency to be incredibly slow moving around briefings is all.

I didn't mean to sound snappish, likely a little of irritation on my part due lacking net, and apologize if I did. I'm sure it doesn't help much. Anyway, Kay will be up with something shortly and Echo, I need a reply for Joseph in the collab. It's been a few days and since I don't get online regularly, the scene will likely drag out much longer and likely finish by next esp. if you don't reply. :P

Well currently no-one has responded to the mission brief (The last post) and we're waiting as Fallen wants to add something however you can nip something in there.

Commander, I thought you should be aware that should Tyrael ever find Ssarak within the presence of Lyn or at least brings a conversation with Lyn in it, he will inform him that Ssarak is to be a obligated guardian of Lyn. Seeing that without Ssarak's ever so loving presence, Lyn would have never been born (So soon). Basically Tyrael thinks that Ssarak is just as responsible for Lyn's birth as Athalus is, after that whole Aphrodisiac Breath thing.What I'm saying is that you need to be more involved in Lyn's life. You helped make her after all.

Alright, though at the present moment, with Fallen's internet situation being so precarious, I think I'll have him go back outside to the others this time. Hopefully, Fallen's situation will end up improving.

Yep, if you want to. However keep in mind, there's still a high chance this might not improve and will be like this for longer yet. Just don't let my lack of net keep away interaction forever from my PCs as I don't think Blood going slower would kill it, rather strengthen those who wish to remain.
