Jesu Cristo and Judas Iscariot existed for example :P They both actually would've played a part in Essence of the World: Tears do Fall, aka Essence S2-A. Idk, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Which is what i actually assumed. So maybe It would be easier to gloss over it because honestly I enjoy the reference with his name but not many people were suppose to really get it to begin with in character. So maybe Lazarus as a history professor is simply referencing some sort of obscure religion that the world doesn't really buy anymore so its really just a forgotten mythology. So it's more of his personal joke that no one gets
