I know it is overused but I think it works out well in giving Ren a reason to let the dog kill his father. I could keep the mother alive but then there would be less of a reason his father would turn to drink. I'm sure I could create another one if you want me to.Oh and it gave him another reason to want to leave Da-Hyun and travel around as a performer.

-What if the collar works in reverse? Instead of choking him, it loosens slightly in warning each time until at it's at its limit then the thing falls off and releases the effect over the animals allowing them to scatter before he can put it back on? If he's practiced enough then he would know its limits.

-another thought is making the size of animal a limiting factor? Larger animals could be less willing to give their help or require more mental energy then smaller, requiring more focus on Ren's part and so he's more distract and likely to be hit/attacked/ect while gaining help from bigger animals.

-when he goes past his animal limit, the first animal's effect wanes or fades allowing the beastie to move along its merry way again? Maybe he has to make eye or touch contact with the animal, or even can only effect in a set range around him would work.

As for the history, there's other reasons he could hate his father. Maybe the man was a jealous type and thought the worse of his wife so he separated from her, taking Ren away with him at a young age in order to hurt her beyond just physically? She could've died shortly after of a broken heart and the man gloated to Ren since creating a bitter and utter hatred to the man he grew to believe 'killed' his mother. Just a thought To work from if you're interested.

I'm not sure but I can try to look into that as well. It could also be the server doesn't like me or rather, likes me too much it needs more. XD

I did get my PC in. Then the next act was started when you handed the RP over to someone else. Unfortunately, my computer went to crap when that act started and i wasn't able to do anything. I pretty much left the RP, admittedly because I wasn't on for months due to CPU, because by the time I got back the RP had progressed so far that I didn't think I could post anything more.

I might've missed it but on a side note, I didn't hand the rp over to anyone, Kangusto. I'm a 3rd gen GM currently, alongside Lucius and Rtron, who followed after Inked Wolf who left after real life put her in a really tough spot. It's been literally a year since we heard from her and after what she mentioned that happened, it's a good reason as to why.

Currently for Act 1, the reboot, we're accepting PCs until the next Act and closing off to any newbies so if you're still interested there's a fresh wave of newbies who have entered and would an idea time. Again, if you're still interested. Though I'm sorry for the mess!

It's not always the white screen though. Sometimes is just goes from submitting it and then pops up as two, which is very odd. And when it hits white screen, I tend to just reopen the page to that spot again and sometimes it works, yet not always. :/

Alright, I've contacted Frettzo and depending on his answer, I will likely pm Konan later. Also, with the lack of activity, likely due to RL or muse problems, I feel its best to do a role call and see where everyone's at in regards to the IC. Aka, if they are waiting on someone to post before they do or otherwise stuck. Someone might not realize they are being waiting on and simply needs to be notified.

Currently my Character's status are as follows:

Lyn- in a pending collab between Caravan master (Lucius),Ssarak, and Lyn.

Mar- suspended in place and about to get stabbed unless someone bashes the undead Lyn imposter or at least yell at Mar to jerk her into action. XD

Khan- in the kitchens with Pyx, Rathel, and Uicle. (Inked, are you still having trouble getting Pyx to detach? If so, I can have Khan and her move off while Rathel helps Uicle then likely lead your pc into a impending mess within the infirmary...hehee. Sam's got an unwanted invader problem.)
