RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

Guess what, BBcode is back Baby !

> Myth could just zap it and electrocute it, have some charred lizard-man-thing for lunch. > > nomnomnomnomnom That could work, if not for this fact: >After he returns, Roan finds he has an immediate appetite for raw, fresh and bloody meat. This is likely his relic’s price for energy and tends to affect him the longer he denies it. So if Myth can just hurt it then Roan will pick up the scent easily and that would work. He'll focus on the wounded Lizard. Any sort of meat works, he doesn't even have to be the one to kill it, just long as it fits the description above. Though this might be an ideal use for this little morsel Ellri's thrown us? Though if you've got no muse for Myth, WilsonTurner, I don't want to force you to play him.
Technically Helen knows everyone there (save for Lucius's PC) because she's likely treated them on several occasions with help from Ignis. Depending if anyone uses poisons or bought medicinal herbs, they would know her better as a frequent customer.
> My hands are sort of tied here, Marky doesn't know shit about the area and he wouldn't ask for help. In any event, he's going to stick around with Roan either way, so he is TOTALLY willing to wait around babysitting a wild animal. He needs to make sure that saving him was the right choice, mostly so that he doesn't freak out and eat people. The point is I risk losing a PC as Roan's mind will turn into something like Mr. Scales that Ellri introduced, making saving him a mistake. The animal isn't evil but has no guilt about killing a "strange" animal (which it what he sees humans as mostly) to survive. The only humans he would have problems eating is those he's developed a pack/mate relationship type mind set to. Sadly he's not yet established that with anyone. > So I'm gonna go with the last option, I'll PM you. I was hoping to at least fall back to option two. Even if Marky doesn't ask for help, I can't see all Othean people being cold or not bothering to at least mention where the clinic is. It's obvious Roan's bleeding with the knife in his back so for all they know the two encountered muggers or bandits in the alley. Either way I'm stuck and really haven't got much of choice in this from the sounds of it. Less we can come up with a situation that works, I'm going to be out of a PC rather quickly either by death or mental deterioration. Sadly I don't think Angie's in the area anymore. Else she could at least enlighten Markul about Roan's mindset and even tell him why Roan's so aggressive, possibly be able to calm him. Right now even a horse, rat (20 or more)or something large will be helpful as like any wild animal, he'll go for easier prey. Hopefully we can figure something out.
> Why is one of the suggestions to give the abomination more victims to rape? Is that a necessary part of the plan? Fuck the lizard, I ain't dealing with that thing. If that thing gets near me, I kill it. It shouldn't be too hard, the terrain is on my side in the event I fight it in the sewers (Enclosed space made of stone!), however, that would be wasting something designed to get some PC interaction. > > When I feel like writing my next one I'll just drop him off somewhere. As I stated, I have three options and I listed what I preferred. Until you drop him off, I'm at your mercy as I can't really do anything other then the last option. A last one for key *reasons* Free, not just that one. > Wait, I can just throw Roan in a stone cage if we have him shift... I rather not have him shift for several reasons, not just that one and most of them are OOC concerns. If he shifts, these include: 1. His wolf mentality hasn't had much time to reset since his last change. His last shift change was like what, a few minutes ago...at best? His wolf's mind needs at least some time to reset and longer is better. Right now... His mind would be three-fourths animal, driven by the baser of needs to survive, with very little human left to will himself back afterwards and yes, he *has to will* himself back. 2. While Markul can hold him, he wouldn't be easy. Roan's stamina would take hours or longer until the wolf settled down due to adrenaline. I'm not sure how long Markul can keep Roan contained, but I seriously doubt you want to be stuck babysitting a wild animal for several IC hours or posts. And it still doesn't solve my mental issue. If anything, it just makes it worse and I risk Roan never becoming a human again. 3. Roan's wolf is starving right now, that goat has long since been used up. Markul doesn't know Roan needs meat right now or fact Roan's mind has hit a state of primal level (much like the Lizard in this case)which risks Markul possibly assuming Roan's out to purposely kill him. I rather Markul not skewer Roan and hit his heart or cut off his head (note you can stab him through the head and he'll still be kicking until it's detached), which I wouldn't blame him in least as I would consider doing the same. Unless he's fed soon after shifting, Roan won't be able to shift back even if he could. 4. That knife is still inside Roan last I checked. It's keeping the wound from closing and mending when he goes wolf. That's the main reason all his other wounds healed but that one. Until it's removed, Roan can't mend or heal which is another flaw in his regeneration ability. If something's obstructing his wounds and keeping him from mending, he can bleed out to the point of passing out cold and beyond. This stops his mental deterioration into a beast, but it doesn't stop the possibility of death. These are main reasons that shifting is my absolute last option. Granted when the bleeding stops and he's slightly patched, Roan will still go wolf but I can at least have some time pass enabling him to shift back after he's fed. I've already talked to Ellri and we aim for Roan to take out Thora, namely in a bloody and nasty conflict, allowing Roan to taste human blood for the first time as I hinted earlier.
### Korgal and Khan Korgal studied the man-beast that stood in front of him, tall with wings and the appearance of the dragons that the young orc had only heard about in stories, upon this thought flickering through the orcs mind his eyes lit up and he stood to his full height and offered his hand so the man-beast could shake it *”This is what humans do right?”* He thought, perhaps he was wrong so he went for the universal symbol of hello and hugged him perhaps a bit too hard forgetting the fact that he was an orc, when the young orc released the man-beast, he spoke his voice firm “I am Korgal Vorinclex of Tribe Frostfall, i have come to join here and learn about my-” The orc stood there and pondered for a bit looking for the right word, and it came to him only seconds later. “Abilities…” When the conversation between Khan and Uicle ended, the Eysire felt a weight released off his heart. In more ways than one, he realised he was slightly relieved, a bit, when he and Uicle parted ways. Strictly the reason being that he no longer had to deal with the odd man digging for more details then the Headmaster could managed to keep hidden. In the back of his mind he was certain the teacher’s desire to further uncover his experience with Kudd wouldn’t stop there. Khan sighed when he realized, slightly miffed at his situation, that his budding headache was just beginning. His muzzle let out a heavy, suppressed sigh when he thought about it. In the background, he let his cane’s familiar taps follow in rhythm with his limp and each time, it had ease more weight off his stiff leg during his way to the empty office. Over time, the pain in it seemed to have dulled ever so bit. After rounding a second corner and keeping a brisk pace, his mind had started to wonder to what motives the Orc had to come to the College. He doubted it was to become a student truthfully. Mainly because he knew the Orc race held the smallest blood percent, unlike his own whom almost every single member could be a mage, among the many races of Tiien. This individual would’ve been a rare happening in any of the diverse tribes. Khan inwardly finched when his thoughts crossed over the little facts about his race. The fleeting moment had scrapped on to the subject of his brother Riddic, more accurately the fact his twin’s magic faded thanks to a disease, and immediately regretted it. Even if Riddice couldn’t be helped in the end, his mind thought ill of his carelessness then. Ignoring the painful memories, Khan’s odd colored eyes looked up to see he had arrived far sooner than he had expected. Now, instead of empty hallways and idling student, the office door stood before him. His shoulders slacked in admitting that he couldn’t keep the new arrival waiting for much longer. That in mind, he pushed the door open. He found the Orc sitting on the chair provided. The sounds of him entering caused the younger orc’s eyes to raise and seem to brighten on sight. Slowly the ‘would-be-student’ stood upright and began to cut the distance between them, his hand held out in greeting. Before Khan could reach for it, the Orc’s massive arms opened wide. Unable to discourage or escape, he felt his body suddenly wrapped in the Orc’s strong arms. He felt fear when the constriction begin, his body softly crackled at the pressure applied. Khan’s cane dropped from his grasp while his wings felt the squeeze pushing his thin bones harder against his back. Jawline tightened and air forced from his lungs, the headmaster could only let out a soft, “Oomph..” during the introduction. It was clear the Orc had been somewhat excited due to the strength within his unusual greeting. When Khan felt himself released, his legs wobbled and off balance without his cane, his lungs filled with new air again. His original fear was replaced by surprise and confusion when the Orc gave him enough personal space to speak. It wasn’t hard to note the hesitation while the newcomer sought for the appropriate word, seeming to have the same education as a few of the other students, before he came up with the correct phrase that Khan agreed on, the Eysire nodding. He, in the small corner of his head, now believed Uicle had gotten the easier ordeal perhaps. Straining downward to return his cane to his hand, Khan found his voice finally. Ignoring the nagging familiarity at the Orc’s name he turned back to address Korgal in his calmest and steadiest tone. “Welcome to Twilight College. I’m currently the Headmaster, Khan Jervarath. There are at least six main blood schools, each with two classes, and making a total of twelve bloods which each have their own unique qualities that we teach here. However there is a class called ancients which include weaving, chantment, and runes. Before we begin, however, I must ask one important question: Do you have an idea of what your abilities are? Can you manipulate an element, like fire or another like it, or maybe brought an object to life? It would help greatly in determining who shall be your teacher at least before we register you.” Khan figured he might as well try to ease Lucilia’s burden a bit and discover the Orc’s mageblood. At least if he had one. Even he had to admit it was rather difficult to believe an Orc had mage blood due to the rarity, thinking maybe the younger creature might’ve been mistaken in his own mind. A trick played by others of his own kin or worse, yet he didn’t say it outloud out of respect. Korgal let Khan go the man-beast was frail but something about him seemed to exude danger that this man-beast wasn’t as frail as he seemed that he could very easily kill Korgal with a wave of his hand. As he explained the six different kinds of blood and the classes Korgal briefly looked confused, as Khan asked about his abilities Korgal explained. “I can freeze things.” He said but he continued to explain. “When angered it’s more noticeable I think i could show you.” He focused hard on making something happen something big like he’s done before but instead he managed to only cover the palm of his hand in a small coat of frost, looking frowning at his hand Korgal spoke. “Generally it isn’t like that, but i guess it proves my point.” Korgal said grabbing a small satchel and throwing it over his shoulder. “Indeed, you’re a cyromancer.” Khan said gently as he watched the orc’s palm ice over. He had had his doubts but not they were gone, forgotten and pushed aside when the orc proved his story true. From Krogal’s frown it seemed the orc had been expecting more only to be disappointed to see much less, his disappointment casted away when he snatched up his meager belongings and tossed it over his shoulder. Khan stood there watching him for a moment then turned on his heel, his cane came out to maintain his balance, and open the door leading the new student out. He knew where he had to head. His cracking pace echoed through the hallway as he lead the orc to Lucilia’s office, his pace steady until he stopped short. His hand came and ratted on the wooden door that separated the hallway and her work space, politely standing outside until he was bid in. He secretly hoping Lucilia hadn’t been entertaining Uicle before his drop by or else this encounter would get rather unpleasant rather quickly. Gingerly he began to enter then peered around, nervously, and finally walked fully inside with the student in toll.
> Alright, a super-short post as I can't really auto-find one of these places, and a slightly edited version of my CS. I reformatted it, and added a section to his appearance about what he wears when he isn't in his armor. I know this is a bit late and I missed it earlier, but might be ideal to let you know. Free, Roan can die in his human form easier then his wolf so could you get him quickly to a nearby healer or something, please? You could even have a NPC help direct Markul to one cause right now, he's not got much time. I have three options: 1. Have you drop him off in your next post or edit your other post with a bit of a time passing. (Prefer this one if you can?) 2. Create a Othean NPC to help Markul to the clinic then have the Lizard take her out. 3. Final and absolutely last option is allowing Roan go wolf which will heal him, however this has some negative consequences. The main one was Roan's mind will be that of a wolf and _will_ attack Markul as well as anyone around.
> Is everyone still here? Yeah, I'm just waiting on Echo though I know he's got other rps he's trying to write for as well and hence why he's taking so long. That and his bio clock is all shades of messed up. XD > I am. Just looking to see if anyone is going to be somewhere other than the tavern. I think we're all trying to aim to meet up there so when Viet starts this, we're all there.
