The Wild

*All that is detailed below is viewed as a myth to the majority of the races of Tiien. It varies from race to race

Before there was the Gods, the Inferno, the mortal realm, the Pit, Time, Death, the Gods' themselves, before there was anything, there was The Wild. The Wild, as the name suggests, is volatile. It rages around the realms created by the Gods, a chaotic and shapeless mass. But not, however, directionless. When the Gods were created, The Wild responded almost immediately. Three of it's aspects were given life. It's Ferocity, it's Intelligence, and it's Hate. These aspects were stronger than the Gods themselves, and wasted little time launching a war against them.

The war was long, and devastating. Tiien was ravaged, all life on it destroyed. And still they fought. The Gods to preserve the fragile Order they had created, the Aspects to destroy it. In the end, the Gods prevailed. The Aspects of Ferocity and Hate were destroyed. The Aspect of Intelligence disappeared, badly wounded. The Wild was defeated, pushed back. Tiien was healed, and the races were all placed upon it. Grieving the extinction level event they had caused, the Gods made a pact. No God would ever walk upon the mortal realm. Too much damage was caused by their presence.

For years, the Gods watched, waiting for The Wild to make another attempt. But it never did. The Wild battered furiously and chaotically against their sealed walls, but never appeared to make any entry into it. With The Wild sealed away, safe from encroaching upon the Order they had created, the Gods relaxed. Deviated from their vigilance. But The Wild was cunning. It found weak points where it could put some of it's essence into the world...

Wild Creatures

Wild Mages: Mages who have offered themselves to The Wild. These mages seek power, and the Wild gives it to them. At a great, great cost. 90% of those who allow the Wild into them are torn apart and consumed by the energies. Those who survive, however, are almost Demigods. Their preferred mageblood school becomes powerful beyond belief. Things that would leave even a master crippled or killed suddenly become possible.

However, two things happen to grant this power to the Mages. They have to give up something. Vital Organs. Their bodies. Their limbs. Their sight. Something that is vital to their life or loved and well used by them. Their opposing school becomes their greatest weakness. Vitamancer is easily damaged and killed by pyromancer. Necromancer by Demonomancer, and so on so forth. In return for these sacrifices, aside from powerful magic, they essentially become ageless. They can still die, but Time has no effect upon them.

The Mage can force the cost (of their own flesh and blood) onto others. But they have to be related by blood, and if the family members are unwilling...their ghosts have a nasty tendency to stay in the Mage's mind for years afterwards.

The demons' wail in inferno’s depths,
As restraining chains are shattered,
The Pitted souls in their abodes,
then broke free and scattered.
Upon the crust war wages on,
Between the red and gold,
Neither side gains any ground,
As nations and men grow old.

The LichLords rise in wild power,
and slay all who oppose,
the Chaos reigns in tainted glory,
always their power grows.
Arcane fades, weak and dim,

the gods walk on Tiien again,
looking for Savior's sail.

While we're waiting, I did some more editing and now the Water Spell List, now has some spells, and I also included a Force Barrier spell into the Physical Spell list. Also, the words in these {...} are the words of magic. This is what your character would say if they were practicing Spoken Magic. Meaning, if your characters summons fire, and they choose to summon it verbally, either by recitation or from a spell tome, they would speak these words.

There were a few spells on OldGuild that I had used once in the Physical Spell List, I'm going to reincorporate those.

Or in Anjiru's case, makes growls and howls. :p

Who and what are you?

Rin Eris, a human Jedi Knight of at least 3 years.

You might have many masters or causes, but when it is ground down properly, you serve one side alone. Which is it? The Sith Empire or the Galactic Republic?

The Galactic Republic or to be more specific, the Jedi Order and Code.

What do you look like, and how are you dressed?

I’m a sixteen years old, white male and rather athletic in my appearance with height at 5’10”. My hair is jet black and cut into a neat, short trim that is mostly spiky on top while I sport two slightly different colored eyes. One is bright green but the other is slightly lighter, dull almost, thanks to an injury sustained during my time on the front lines. There is a few light scars, faded, trailed down the side of my face that have long since healed but however it left its mark, I can’t see depth perception out of my right eye very well. Currently I’m dressed in the robes of a simple Jedi Knight.

Why do you fight? What thoughts and ideas influence your actions? What are the reasons behind it all?

The only reason I bring up my lightsaber is in the defense of others and ideas of peace in the Galaxy. I will not be provoked into a mindless rage or baited into other reasons because my faith is strong and firm. What I do is very much in union with my beliefs, any that tell me otherwise discover my expression will not waver from this.

Do you have any skills that make you stand out from the crowd?

My ability to connect puzzles and see details most overlook, not a useful trait for a Knight but one that had served me well over the years. And likely will continue to do so in the far future.

What made you the person you are today? How did the past influence your present?

I have three siblings and all younger than me.

My brother is five, and twin sisters about six years, all gifted with the force and currently at the Coruscanti temple upon time of the sacking. I’m saddened to say, I likely will never see their bright young faces again. My cousin is Lea Rahn, a Jedi Padawan from the Temple, and my dark fore brood is very terrible when it comes to thoughts about her over the days past. I can’t tell for certain if this means she’s gone or worse. In all truth, there’s little I find hopeful in the situation which draws a unsettle sorrow within me.

My mother was force sensitive and a Jedi knight, killed in the Temple struggle while she defended her home. I found her body and counted it among the dead, though after what Master Fallon has told me then it’s unlikely she is with the force. My father, not force sensitive, hadn’t been present or he too would’ve died among the ruins. He was on Coruscant during the Empire’s assault, but not at the Jedi Temple, so he managed to avoid being killed and instead very much alive unlike some Coruscant civilians. Something I was grateful for as he currently attends to the funeral rites for my departed mother.

Father believes I am too prideful when it comes to my duties and responsibilities, unable to accept failure within myself or my limitations in things beyond my control. I disagree completely with him because I never believe I’m working alone as I’ve seen many great things done when many individuals work together, their blood, sweat and tears made the Galaxy better. Those force sensitivities, fallen Jedi or Sith, that can’t work alongside the Jedi are a risk to what we aim to achieve and possibly could undo what the Jedi have managed so far.
Would you describe your Lightsaber, if you have made one?
Basic one with a yellow blade.

If you wield a Lightsaber, which of the Seven combat forms has your order trained you in?
Not sure for this one.

Describe your preference in the use of the Force. Are you particularly talented in any one area? Do you have flaws in another? What are the limits on what you can or will do?

I’m only average in my combat skills which explains why my face is scarred and suffered such an extensive injury as my first front line experience hadn’t went well. Since then, my talent lies more in in diplomatic means and aiding escape if needed. I’m ideally adapted in abilities like Comprehend Speech, Force Empathy, and related skills as Force Speed and Stealth make me very difficult to track or notice when it comes to seeking out information.

Is there anything else you would like to mention about yourself?

Nothing more to say that would be useful.
