RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

I am tlaking about the few month time skip

Yes. That wa mentioned once to three total because one of the times were during a massive conversation which buried it in about three pages within less then a hour. It then ended up being delayed for a single day IC due to Crossark's post in the OOC so I've not mentioned it until a few days before it's due so everyone's got time. Besides, a few reminders is helpful through out the OOC over the same thing.
Lidda
The Vitamancy teacher laughed at Aruna’s reaction, not bothering to hold it in to be polite as she knew how frustrating it was to sit and heal. Likely she didn’t have to do that anymore after being a Vitamancer, her body already able to heal bones, skin, and more back to perfection. Her cleaved feet hung over the bed edge, dangled there and swing out of habit, while her dark eyes watched the young Half Breed pout within the confines of her bed. For a moment longer she sat there, until finally Aruna spoke to her. Lidda’s expression told the student she only half believed her about the learning bit.

She stood up and placed the clothes, the gift, upon the bedside table where Aruna could look them over when she was ready. Then she shifted her hips to cock, her hands pressed upon them in a sassy stance then soft spoke. “Unless you’re a Vitamancer, it’s unlikely there’s a way. You’ll just have to let it heal naturally though my tip: don’t fight Sam if you want to speed it up.”

She leaned closer and looked Aruna dead in the eyes, her voice full of earnest intentions. “Are you sure it’s because you want to learn about your mageblood or to find the one who ‘left’ the rake out?”

Lidda waited a moment or two, letting Aruna absorb the words then lifted upright. She continued without much delay, a faint hope to ease Aruna’s defensive and likely suspicious nature that the student had instinctively displayed at the Opening Feast. “I won’t worry about it. I have a feeling I know who could’ve left it out and I’m positive he didn’t mean you any harm by it. We’ve gotten some new staff and guards lately to rotate the old out so they aren’t exactly familiar to the College’s...unique sights or current rules. We’ve staff leave out stuff as well as a few guards misfire on students. It’s rare but possible since sometimes Esyires or other students from mixed heritage are thought to be wild creatures who threaten the College and. I doubt the current Psychomancy demonstration helped with that either.”

Her hand rubbed the back of her head, seemed to hate the next task she would likely have to look into, until Sam interrupted her. The old man touched her shoulder and smiled when her eyes whipped into his direction. He hated getting in the middle of conversations so she knew this had to be important when she listened to him speak.

“Lidda, could you for a moment take a look at the patient before you return to classes.”

“Sure. Why didn’t you just a Rune do it?” She asked, slightly surprised.

“I don’t know, one of the examination Runes seem to be a little uncooperative today. I might have to have Val look it over and see what she can do about since it’s been a while when I’ve had her check them last.” Samuel admitted guiltily, noting his neglect in keeping his equipment in working order. “So far all I’ve found are few birth defects which should’ve made it harder than usual for him to breath and function, though they seem to have little affect on him. He could’ve gotten used to it and adapted since birth which we’ve had a few cases pop up like that with students. His heart on the opposite side of his chest, yet nothing I’m too concerned about. I do want you to use your Vitamancy to determine if there’s unseen concerns.”

Lidda nodded and made her way over to Grey, her eyes studied the man for a moment but her words were spoken to Sam. “I’ll see what I can do but keep in mind I hit Blood Sickness last night so it won’t be the best.”
Gently she held out her hand and touched the man’s hand. She held it in hers while she focused on her mageblood, her eyes closed. Where her skin made contact with Grey’s, he would feel a faint tingle, not quite as strong as Aruna’s, dance on his surface then inch its way throughout his body. Lidda’s mind took stock of what her magic was able to yet it was weaker reading then she was expecting. Her face furrowed in confusion but casted it away, figured her magic was weaker then she first thought.

“Well, I don’t sense anything immediate or life threatening. Then again, I’m not at my tip top shape. Think it would be possible to do a follow up checkup later on? I’ve got many students to teach the basics so I likely won’t be free until say… winter?” Lidda chuckled, her attempt at a light joke despite her mind’s worry.

“I’ll talk to Lucilia, I’m pretty sure she rather you not over whelm yourself.” He turned to Grey then with a final statement. “I think, for now, that’s enough with the medical examine. There will be a followed up around winter which I’ll have a Golem notify you about. It’s routine with most College staff.”

Alright. where is this fight taking place, so I can make sure to say they are in the right place?

Likely near the entrance as Mar will try to head to her den to skin her kill, which is being fireman carried over her shoulder for a short time before the wound kicks in with it's bacteria. Think Komodo Dragon teeth.

The point is. The time skip was apparently put on hold a couple of times.Anyways, now to find another subject to analyse. Any takers?

There have been at least 2 timeskips, both mini as in a few hours:

Arrival to Opening feast
Opening Feast to next day
Currently the RP IC is on the 2nd day, the Opening Feast was day 1. IT was an extra, not planned for the rp but added due to Cross's request and the fact a few points were made. Not to forget it would allow Lyn's birth earlier.

Actually Witch, It'll be a six month time skip.

Yep. It goes from Summer's end to winter, including passing through fall's months.

Hmm, I need to make sure to keep Ssarak free for the collab, so I don't know precisely how to respond.

Feel free to continue with Alaira as when the fight breaks out, and it will, then I can have Duuri mess with Alaira's armor to keep her from being caught up in it. It will sort of prevent her legs from moving for a limited time until the breath effects kicks in. I rather not risk Alaira preventing Lyn's birth as it would be harder to carry out your desire later in the rp. That way you can interact while you're waiting on the scene because Ssarak will be unhindered to jump in.
Joseph

Joseph’s fingers flickered over keyboard. Each movement clicked and clanked lightly on the keys, the words formed upon the screen which was inputting some last minute medical data from his last patient. The man, Valentine McKee, was in his late twenties, Caucasian and would be part of the security personnel soon to be onboard the ship Catherine Langford. For the last past several weeks, at a month by his count, Joseph had been doing these routine medical checks up until the official launch date. Though he was slightly irritated he wasn’t able to see his family, especially his sixteen year old son Connor, there was little he could’ve done short of quit the program. That was pointless gesture as he had gone through this much work and the fact he couldn’t stomach a job only partly finished.

Due to the paperwork being his current task, a monotone drone which had his mind crossed between automatic and memories. In the background was a light, wordless melody played softly in the background while he worked. It was one of Connor’s burnt CDs, the violinist seemed to had put his heart and soul into the stringed item at his fingertips while it seemed to ease Joseph’s longing slightly. He knew this would’ve been difficult from the start yet the full weight hadn’t hit him until now.

He was going into space. It was a place no man had gone and to make things worse, it was going to be within a subtle death trap made from steel, wiring, and a load of other shit he didn’t want to consider would be the only barrier between him and the vacuum of space. And a very terrible death. The only assurance he had was there was a means to get back to Earth, if the occasion called for emergency evacuation. His mind wandered to what the ground crew would likely encounter. There could any number of diseases and biological organisms foreign to their health on other world, some possibly incurable. That thought made Joseph pause in his work, despite its unlikelihood to happen. In the back of his mind he knew he sounded like some fictional character from one of those sci fi movies which had him mentally chuckling then pushed the worries away for now.

His work needed his focus more, noting he could always worry about it later and deal with it when the time came.

His typing was interrupted when the office door opened. His head jerked up from the flickering screen, his hand moved the mouse across to close the file, and turned to see the Department’s head approach him. Dr. William Niven was a thin, well into his seventies man who ran the Stargate offices and would later organize the medical staff onboard the Langford. His shoes tapped in his path towards Joseph before he promptly had set the note down on the simple desk’s edge. The man seemed to be always smiling, even when he addressed Joseph about what the note had contained for one of his future patients.

“You’ll love this one Joseph!” William stated shortly beside him, Joseph noted the man’s arms were crossed over and seemed eagerly awaiting his reaction.

Pushing himself from the desk, Joseph scooted over to the table and took hold of the note. His free hand reached for his reading glasses then began to read the hastily scribbles. After reading it, Joseph’s lips turned up into a frown, his eyes peered at William with scorn as if this was some sort of ridiculous case brought before him.

“You’ve got to be kidding me?” He said sarcastically, his voice slightly dripping with anger at having to go the extra mile. “Do I need her father’s permission as well?”

He watched his fellow doctor held up his hands defensive as he expected Joseph to attack, yet his face merely seemed to enjoy the slight irked expression this recent development had caused. “No, but her medical file is seriously loaded down with red tap-“

“And she’s part of this program, what are they thinking?” Joseph said not believing what he had just heard. “Are we just picking up strays?”

Dr. Niven just shrugged. It was clear to Joseph, unlike himself, he didn’t care or want to know how the patient, a Ms. Ylva Falk, had gotten pass the program’s flagging and strict protocols. Merely that here she was and now she was Joseph’s problem. The younger doctor leaned back into his chair while it squeaked in protest, his hand raised to rub his temple, easing the tension headache following the sticky. Perfect… he bitterly thought, not liking the fact he was restricted to the treatment he was allowed. His hand released his head then straightened up; his eyes noted his colleague leaving.

“Next time,” Joseph began, a hope to catch his departing back, “Don’t bring such ‘cheerful’ news with you.”

Once the door clicked close, his hand reached for the landline phone and began to arrangements for Ms. Falk’s doctor. After that, he checked the clock to note one of his patients had been waiting far too long. He made his way to the examination office where he left his mind focus on the next task and slowly forget the messy red tape he would have to work on getting cut later on.

Anyone get a feeling of deja vu? Just me?

There are time skips for this rp, this isn't first and won't be last. I give a warning so everyone remembers and doesn't forget, that way no one is caught in things too tightly. This is the long timeskip into winter and the actual Plotline.
I'm going to get Joseph ready for basic medical examines, mainly set him in a solo post for his intro... So who wants to go first? :p

-Add on: I managed to keep the post short, Yay! Now onto Kayle, lol.
