Here it is. Not all of it, but the key bits:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little too strong, Free, as seen through the description below. This what a Novice can do.
Novice~
Charging Energies is most dominated here. Novices can easily tap into their own energy source and manipulate it with some effort and focus. They can light a spark on their fingers and hold charge for several minutes, anything that touches them is instantly shock with the voltage that a single Taser hit has before charge dies after one used. It requires another charge build up afterwards and after several, a novice will be left exhausted. They can send a small current, for a brief moment, through a metal weapon or item usually strong enough to cause the enemy to drop it or become temporarily immobilized. EIS can be also be used, for a few minutes, out to about 2 feet radius from user. Small light can be illuminating only a small area from their hand when held.
What Alaria’s attempting to do is intermediate as seen below in the description, because there’s no way any living creature’s bioelectrical energy is that powerful unless they are one of a few things: A thunder beast, monster or demon (None PC or GM Boss). Even elementals draw upon the Natural Energies due to the drain it cause just using their own energy and the damage to brain and motor skills.
Intermediate~
Charging Energies power and duration is increase by a notable degree, their Taser effect is able to shock 3-4 enemies with one charge or one large one on a single contact as well as spread through others when those targets are in skin to skin contact. This affect can also be placed into an Electromancer’s weapon for the same amount of targets, sometimes making an enemy think twice about locking horns. The area of the effect can be increased to cover over half their body and with increased focus can send foes to become immobile for a brief time depending on the mass the creature has, may even kill them. ESI is increased to up to 4 feet in 360 degrees around mage for a temporary time, the continual use will slowly tired out the user because of the slow drain in the blood use. In this level, mages start to edge into using Natural Energies for added range. Creating small, 2-3 foot wide square area where magnetism can occur for a limited time, a few seconds, pulling any armored foe onto the ground or booby trap to shock any living creature brave enough to venture within it.
I did caution Crossark against playing his PCs above their levels, as in the case with Locas who was doing intermediate-advance level magic before having the magic strength built to that, so I can’t just favor one Player over another when it comes to displaying something like this.
Now, before you get discouraged, there’s a loophole that we can explore and it would still allow this awesome effect without the aftermath being something rather crippling. This loophole is the Electromancer rune. It can create Lighting/electrical energies that Alaira can manipulate and boost her own power to kill the monster. The mentioned after effect would still be the same but without exhausting her own inner energies (which is what Novice Electromancers accesses easiest at this stage)and not pulling over the line. The only edits you would have to make are minor, like mentioning that Sam shouted at Alaira and tossed her the rune as well as the fact she used it's magic. It still allows for the same effect without a Player pointing out that I allowed you to go past your boundaries yet I limited Cross on his. Make sense? Also, the Rune will crumble afterwards from having all the magic used and it being overheated.
But wouldn't combat instincts be more likely to think of it as an attack to be deflected? Plus, she's moving way too fast to have a chance at catching anything when coupled with all the things she has to keep track of. The idea is it leaves her out of action for several months, with debilitating effects when she wakes up as well. The goal is to keep her wrecked for months, to show people what happens when you go 'FUCK LIMITS.'
I would accept the rune if I felt there was any way to utilize it, but I just cannot imagine her taking it, and taking it just feels like some kind of cop-out to me.
You know bioenergy includes nerve and neurons right? (Each magic has their own type of serious effect when you go beyond their limit, which Locas's would've been suffocation...I rather not explain that because it will make this rambling...)
If it was a Six month skip, I wouldn't mind it too much as she would be much closer to recovering within reason to her old ability. However, the next one is only two months (we hit spring in year 2 for missions) and I don't feel that is enough time to recover/adapt from the brain damage and loss of motor skills. Though after 2 months, she might be able to hold her weapon, using it in high tensity situations effectively and regaining the sharp reflexes would be impossible imo. Namely cause it's like someone who was paralyzed for a month or longer having to learn to walk/talk/move all over. This would mean you would likely be stuck at the College for at least 2 time skips, likely alone.
So if you still want to do this, then realize this: she will be barely able to combat when the missions come in the next 2 months and Sam will keep her from joining them because of her condition.
In honesty, Free, I'm not trying to give you a cop out as much as lessen the damage. Last thing I want is Alaira a vegetable and if she doesn't have help with that scene, she has a high likelihood to end up like that. Possibly even paralyzed anywhere from the neck to the waist down. There will still be side effects like some lost of motorskills which she would have to regain, but instead of struggling to hold and lift her spear, it's lessened to something that's less permanent. Like say rebuilding her muscles to move in time with her mind. It won't be as good as before, as she's still working on it, but it would enable her to at least hold her weapon without suddenly dropping it.
That's why the Players who go too far are asked to edit their post yet still take the damage stated.
Anyway, since you stated there's no way for Alaira to use the rune then I can try to work out this problem with you. Merely all Alaria needs is the rune activated nearby and her instinct could end up tapping into it. Every student's ability is different, despite what the levels say as they are more guide lines, and some are able to instinctively tap into areas in a raw way. They still pay for it because its untrained and not refined, but it's possible.
Take Mar for example. She's able to use offensive Vitamancy while most students start off in healing and can't access offensive magic until much later, but its the opposite with her.
Anyway, back on topic. Another option is Sam could activate it and slide over to Alaira so she could draw upon the energy instinctively. She would still be fried and collapse at the end, also suffer motorskill problems after the time skip. However the positive thing was she would be able to at least hold her spear for a small period of time rather then not at all, making it where when another time skip happens, after the 2 month one, she would be right as rain, almost, again. She would still likely have twitches and what not from time to time as a permanent side effect making a small reminder for PCs to watch their magic level but nothing too crippling for IC.
I have difficulties deciding on what to think here. From my perspective, this whole thing does seem like a raw deal for Free. As I mentioned before, were I in his shoes, I would lower the mental damage done by the magic, live to fight, and sacrifice again another day, on more certain terms. Make it more of an event, a bigger deal in a different situation.
Elite, there's one thing Free's not mentioned. Namely everything mentioned in a pm and exaggerating what we came to a agreement on. That's the problem which I will share with Free's permission so not get stuff mixed up.
I'm working on it Leon... I'm trying to sort out this mess right now. My only explanation is this: Sep broke Lucius.
Than consider yourself doubly screwed. Because not only do you have this "Duuri" playing games with you, you have , who will ensure that you will regret not folding from the beginning. I will bring pain to both you and Arcadius, such a level of suffering that you would pray to this Duuri for a release, for you have not merely annoyed me Sep, you have me. For I am the god of Mercy. Now you will see what will happen when I chose not to be.You may think what Vash said was petty and cruel. You've seen nothing yet.
Lucius. *rises eyebrow* A little carried away, you'll scare off other new Players with that type of 'anger' talk.
Even if you have the majority vote, you have also earned my ire. You said that his relative immortality is more a curse than a blessing. I will make sure to prove how much of a "Curse" his constant unlife will become.
Lucius...this is Duuri's blessing and curse. She's based off a PC favorite of mine that Rtron knows and fears. Not much you can do to him really.
I've currently just added to the collab, Zombie and me are working on. He mentioned it earlier in the OOC which since our scene requires some back and forth, it won't make much sense that we should post it independently. It would have us making lower then advance required posts to do that.
My terms for Abbie, I don't know to be honest. You mentioned you might've had some idea but until I know any more details, Frankly, I can't do shit with her. I told I had an idea to free her up but until I know I'm able to do it, without interrupting in your plans, I can't do it. I even sent you a pm with ideas for a plotline to ensure you know everything Aweena did yet I've not even heard anything on that either. Even a simple: Great, thanks but I know this all already, would've be great. I don't even if my idea I pitched will work with Aweena gone now. All I've got to play is Remmy which sort of kills my decision to focus more on Abbie right now.
I was wondering, what exactly does it mean for a shadow noxomancer to gather shadows around them? Does it darken the area or something? I know they can use the nox to essentially teleport whenever there are shadows.
It's like shadow manipulation, if I remember what Rtron mentioned right. You can use the shadows to attack or defend, though any source of light will make it weaker, with.
Upsah
The vines easily secured Upsah and started to constrict but he barely struggled. Despite the pain and strain on his bones, his mind was set upon the hallway’s destruction. His blood raced quickly to age the stones causing more to crash down among the combatants until suddenly, it stopped. A heavy one had been just above Grey’s head, aimed to crush the distracted man’s head, only to stop and suspend there in midair. It seemed to have a mind of its own as the sounds of metal footsteps echoed throughout the scene.
Upsah forced his head to turn upon the glimpse of green glow in the corner of his eye, his head faced through the woven pattern Lucilia’s plants created. From his mist came a silhouette of what would’ve first been mistaken as a man only to reveal one of Khan’s allies, Uicle, who arrived late. His comment caused Upsah to cackle darkly and add his commentary to the cursed man’s observation while the mist was shoved over their heads by a windy gust. “Only a Judy of Aarem would think a mindless servant was better protection then someone who could think independently…”
As Lucilia rushes away, with no reply, Upsah starts to laugh madly at his own insult to Uicle. It vibrates and darts through the hallways, even to the fight’s chaos, before he heard the sounds of something metallic crawling towards him. It scratched and bite at vines, each one tore through easily, until he could spot that twist’s little Golem pup. The metal beast’s forepaw raised then slashed downwards upon Upsah’s arm causing the demon to jerk away. Stringy muscle split wide open, followed by a small stream of fresh maggots and a putrid scent. Black blood seeped from the wound hitting the amber in the air combined with Uicle’s efforts, stifled the arcanite within the blood. Upsah’s cackles merely increase with strength while his decay magic weakens. Under Lucilia’s increased weight, Upsah’s bones were too fragile to uphold against the impact. Ribs started to crack in protest, breaking from the weight, before they ripped through the weak skin. The pale coloring became stained with black as Upsah’s blood poured from his body.
Upsah knew something was wrong when he hadn’t been returned to the Inferno, something that should’ve happened now. Already his wings were shattered into pieces, his lungs nothing more than flimsy bags of flesh and even his eyes had started to bleed out over his cheek bone when his skull had started to crack. His teeth click in his insults thrown at the unconscious Khan when he realized Lucilia’s hatred consumed her.
“Heehee… You wanted to place your trust into those creatures? Now they will be the very end of you, the very ones that will carelessly slaughter you just to feed their own hate. Pitiful my little demonomancer, just pitiful…”
Orleah
Olreah felt her claws skirt along the man’s greaves. The claws could’ve torn through them easily yet she merely allowed it to skirt the metal outside, leaving three white marks in her wake. The black fingers seemed unfazed by the attack but her eyes glinted with the thoughts pulsed in her mind and turned to face the man’s challenge. His voice bellowed like some primal beast and banged his shield in the most darling way, her hopes slightly depressed that this man seemed little more than a stupid brute. Much like the demon behind her, she sighed mentally.
In response she lowered her torso, her long arms dangled low as she spoke. “Very well, handsome. Let’s dance and I’ll show you a real good time.”
Her body went in low, her body rushed forward as her claw whips out. Her speed is completely inhuman in her attack, aimed to severe the torso, when just seconds before Grey could change his tactics she leaps. Her back leg kicks off bring her over Grey’s head and twist in midair over him, her other leg reached back to send a kick into his shoulder. Thankfully, if it did connect, she had only used the ball of her foot. Her toe claws wouldn’t have scratched but instead sent a heavy whack that would’ve sent him tumbling into the ground. What he was doing would’ve affected the direction and the force, Orleah a little too confident he couldn’t dodge it.
She managed to prevent herself from drawing too close to Heus, now engaged with one of Uicle’s golems. Unfortunately Grey had provided enough of a distract Orleah hadn’t realized the Treant seeds had fallen from the roof and now grew into thick, living trees. Ones sent after to attack her when a root reached to take hold of her arm. Without thinking too hard, she severed her limb and created a mini version which was promptly bashed against the hard trunk until it was nothing more than a bloody mess. Her arm immediately regrew the moment the thing was tossed a side, the corpse melted away as it hit the floor. Before she could chuckle at the plant’s vicious nature Uicle’s blood magic kicked in.
Her limps became harder to move, preventing her from dodging when another root reached for her. Again, her claws came out and hacked away the limb to free herself. Each time the action repeated, over and over, while she was unaware where her tactics had started to lead her: closer to Heus’s own fight.
Heus
Heus couldn’t register the event twisting out of control. His mind was too dull and lost in pain to concentrate instead he merely ran the length of the wall, leaving a gouge from his shoulder connected. Stone crumbled in his wake before his body had slowed. His arm pressed against the wall for support, his small head darted about to see the fight between Orleah and Grey play out for a moment. Then suddenly rubble like arms wrapped about his body, his arms pinned to his side causing him to bellow in wrath. He twisted to the side and slammed the golem into the wall with his great strength, loosening its grip while it reached back a hand and gripped the Golem’s head within his grasp. Heus crushed it within his thick hand then whipped up a wind around his body when one of Lucilia’s Treant’s reached for the demon.
The living tree was sent flying easily by the demon’s backhand. Its roots were unable to grip into the ground and brace when it was back handed, the trunk sent back and crashed into the small number of others surrounding the pair. The golem’s grip gone and Heus’s arms freed, the demon’s hands took a hold of the golem’s middle then raised it over his head. With all his monstrous strength, Heus threw the golem towards both Orleah’s and Grey’s direction. Grey might be able to avoid the incoming golem, Orleah on the other hand was too distracted and would likely be easily killed by the impact.
Rathel
Rathel screamed inside his head when Annabeth’s figure started to look confused at his garbled speech, her body slightly hesitated until suddenly she was swarmed by vines. If he could show expressions, his own face would’ve reflected Annabeth’s horror and fear in that moment. His magic was wild and untamed, vines closed about Annabeth’s small body that they easily ensnared it when they jerked up from the floor. Stop! Rathel but it did little good when it started to seek out the cracks and creases in her armor. They borrowed deeply and sought to flay her alive with their thorns against her struggles. At one point, his eyes unable to pull away, she had freed her arms. Her hand reached and took a hold of a few in an attempt to rip them free, with little luck.
He was going to kill her. The thought numbed his mind as Rathel imagined a target in his mind, his focus centered upon the demon with utter loathing and hatred. Slowly, a few vines crept from the floor and slithered up his arms. Like with Annabeth, they sought any nook or crease to bore into and hook about, working the shell’s tightly sealed armor away. Tissue underneath burned as it was torn away from the protection leaving bloodied and raw muscle exposed. If he couldn’t stop it then he would get rid of the source.
His eyes met Annabeth’s for a moment, apologetically filled despite the alien like eyes, before she was suddenly thrown back. Rathel jerked upright only have another plate torn clean off causing him to scream in pain. More blood leaked down upon his pale green skin and pooled upon the floor, disrupting his grip and shifted him upon his other side. In his mind, Rathel feared he had killed the student until Tryael’s shouts broke him from his grief. His head turned weakly towards the teacher through his vine had barely ceased in their efforts in tearing him apart.
Again, he tried to communicate. A crew clicks and a simple word was produced, his voice sounded weak and drained in his failed efforts. “…trying…”
A cold breeze from Tyrael’s portal washed over Rathel as it freeze flashed the vines, their shapes shattered easily and caused a bitter chill to sear his muscle. His body flinched in pain while where the cold had instantly killed the muscle, evident to the blacken spot. He hadn’t looked back at Tryael when a vine slithered upwards to wrap about the demon’s neck and strangle him. Meanwhile the other vines had started to tear the exposed muscle apart and drawing out the demonic blood to drain him dry. Distracted, he hadn’t realized what Tyrael had tried to do until it was too late to resist.
Give me until tonight and I'll go into more depth with Arcanite as I'm starting to wonder if Lucius and I are on the same page. Arcanite is in everything, from that simple desk to the Gods themselves because it's the building block of the world. It is the source of existence itself, without it then there is literal a void as even nothing is something.
Also on a side note... You all realize there's two to three approved PCs that don't have blood? Uicle, Ponders, and Coco.
Joseph and Ariadne/Idalia, before time skip
This mission was turning out to be quite hectic. Ariadne had been barely half way through donning one of Tau’ri flight suits when the call had come through saying she would not be boarding via F-302 anymore. With that being the case, she opted for a different approach, quickly stripping off the flight suit and putting her Tok’ra uniform back on, but grabbing one of the Tau’ri combat vests to wear over it. While the soft fabrics and leathers of the normal Tok’ra working garb were comfortable and suited to almost any environment, they provided no protection whatsoever once staff blasts were flying. The Tau’ri had developed armour that would stop a staff blast from dealing damage beyond the physical force of impact, and their armour was also designed to stop their own projectile weapons. While she was far more likely to survive being hit than a mere human or even a Jaffa, that did not mean she wanted to take the chance. Once she was sure the vest was secure, she belted the pouch in which she kept her healing device over the top for easy access. Her Zat’nik’tel was holstered on her forearm rather than at her waist, a habit from when she still wore ostentatious and flashy outfits into battle - all in the name of appearing to be a god.
Of course things had not stopped with that change in plans. Ariadne had been listening in to the command channel while she was dressing and moving about the ship, and only minutes after the first team had beamed down word had come in of a most unexpected discovery. Apparently the team had discovered a Goa’uld down on the planet, disabled him and decided to beam him up. It all seemed a little too convenient to Ariadne, but if it truly was a Goa’uld, she could gain favour with the Tok’ra high council by sending him to them for extraction. She immediately began making her way to the infirmary, reaching up to activate her communicator - what the Tau’ri called a ‘radio’ while she did so. “The council did not inform me of any Tok’ra agents on this world. Even if it were though, a Tok’ra would not be so foolish and brash in their means of contact.
It did not take her long to reach the Infirmary, and as soon as she caught sight of the man, she immediately focused on trying to sense the presence of other symbiotes. The Naquadah was there. He was not bluffing. At Idalia’s insistence, Ariadne relinquished control.
Idalia stormed towards the Goa’uld, hand on her holstered Zat, ready to deliver the justice he deserved. Though she was right next to him and could not possibly be stopped, her hand would not pull the weapon from its holster. She railed at Ariadne’s evident control, but there was nothing she could do. She had to settle for cursing him in his native language. “Kel’mak’tak, Goa’uld!” She spat at the injured man on the bed, stepping back and crossing her arms in frustration.
It was a foolish and thoughtless thing to do of course, but in the heat of the moment she could only think of the countless years spent in servitude to the Goa’uld, the years of fear and hatred. Things were different now though.
Joseph had naturally arrived a few moments later. His shoes squeaked across the floor while his hand held the clipboard to his eyes, his other one upon his reading glasses to go over the papers. Currently he was scanning the information about the Goa’uld’s anatomy or least what had been gathered at such short notice when his head raised. He finally noted the young woman standing near the man, much to his surprise because he hadn’t been expecting anyone. The frustration was impossible to miss for him, his eyes ran up her figure at the key signs. It trailed from crossed arms up to her glare, even the distance between them. Joseph sighed at situation, his mind already made up about how much fun this little moment was going to be.
He stepped towards the woman and spoke, his voice firm and business like. “Can I help you Ms….”
Idalia glanced at the person suddenly speaking to her, frustration evident as she did so. “Idalia.” She returned to glaring at Aeryn. “What you can do for me, is get the Symbiote out of him so I can kill it.” Attacking the host may be a poor thing to do, but killing the symbiote was definitely something almost everyone here would agree with.
“Well, Ms. Idalia, if I could snap my fingers to accomplish that, I would.” Joseph’s sarcasm peered through from the earlier scene within the lab. His hand reached from his glasses to the paper and flipped it over, his vision scanned over the information a few more times. “The bad part is with the number of wounds, ranging from a variety burn degrees to a broken arm and wrist, surgery at this point will kill both the host and the symbiote. Something I rather not risk.”
His hand reached for the fluid bag at the man’s bedside, his eyes upon the liquid which seamlessly flowed into the least damaged one. His eyes took in the damaged from the blast, namely centered upon the wrist and hand. Most of the flesh was blackened and peeled away several layers to reveal slightly pink, cooked muscle underneath which meant nerve endings were likely beyond repair. His fingers were nothing but charred tendon, little remained, and broken pieces. He jerked his head from viewing anymore.
“The odd part was that according to this information, Goa’uld have healing abilities which means his wounds should be mending themselves. However, there appears to be little change that I can detect. We barely managed to get him stable to this point and currently its a waiting game.”
“Fine” Idalia said. “If he is too hurt for you to remove the Symbiote, I will heal him. Then you can remove it without worry.” Idalia stepped forward again, pulling the hand device from its pouch and slipping it on. She raised her crossed hands over the Goa’ulds body, shut her eyes and focused on the use of the device. First she had to scan him, determine what exactly his injuries were, and how much she could help. The healing device was powerful, but it was no sarcophagus and some things were simply beyond its capacity to repair. Starting at his hand, she quickly determined that she could not totally fix it. It did not particularly bother her, and she moved on to examine the rest of his body. Sometimes damage was not so evident on the surface, and it always payed to check.
The hand was definitely the worst damage the man had suffered, but when Idalia passed the hand device over his neck and head, she found herself surprised. She passed the device over him again, just to be sure of what she saw.
There was no symbiote.
She opened her eyes, a look of disappointment evident on her face. “This man is not a Goa’uld. He has no symbiote.” She slipped the healing device off her hand and replaced it in its pouch, having only scanned him and not repaired any of the damage at all. She had been robbed of her prize, and though it was for different reasons, Ariadne felt the same way. She stepped back from him again, this time looking at the Tau’ri doctor. “Treat him as you will. I do not care about his fate.”
When Idalia spoke about healing the man, Joseph’s eyebrow raised in doubt. In his opinion they already were going to try their best to mend the damage but some wounds were beyond conventional means for healing. However, the way she spoke made it seem like she thought it was a simple matter. His eyes brushed over his patient once more, unable to see anything she could do in the situation or how she was going to miraculously heal the man. She clearly wasn’t with the medical department and certainly not a miracle worker so he failed to see her words as anything more than wishful thinking. Joseph sighed to himself and once more looked at the man’s chart. There was so much to do for them to get started that he had difficulty where to begin.
That’s when he noticed the device. A small, circular device was fixed firmly within the woman’s hand which emitted a glowing, pale yellow light. She slowly ran it the length of the patient’s injuries and seemed to be performing some sort of scan in his guess. Merely because there was little to no visible change in the man’s condition, though the sight did little not to surprise the doctor. His eyes widened from the sight she made and stood rigidly in place to stare until she finished. Once she completed it, the light stopped when her demeanor changed into something of disappointment. She pulled away to face him, eyes still curious about what had happened, and then gave him an alright to take care of his patient.
Those words seemed to snap him out of his surprise causing his face to frown. “And how, Ms. Idalia, would you know that? All I’ve seen is a fancy light show which while amazingly beautiful, I don’t think it would be effective enough to show what proper tests or blood work would.”
Idalia looked at the man like he was questioning the colour of the sky. She couldn’t decide if his total skepticism for the technology was more or less annoying than the idea of people worshipping her for it. She of course had never experienced that for herself, but it was there in Ariadne’s memories. Even a simple thing like scanning with the healing device would look like divine power to many in the galaxy. At Ariadne’s insistence, she took a deep breath to calm herself and keep from snapping at the old man. “This is a Goa’uld healing device.” She began, speaking as though to a child needing instruction. “It scans and heals people. It is far more effective than needles, or any other tool you have. It can see far more than the machines you have. Only someone with Naquadah canin their blood can activate it, so no, you cannot use it.” Idalia did not really see much more reason to be here, or to continue speaking to the man, but she stayed for the moment in case he needed more explanation.
Joseph’s frown just deepened, her tone had clearly mistaken his ignorance as stupidity. A fact he found rather annoying and insulting as he waited for her to finish without interruption. All the time he bit his tongue to keep his comments at bay, only the slight tightening knuckles upon the clipboard were the giveaway to his emotions. It was clear she didn’t want to be here or continue this conversation, something he found he desired as well because her very presence prevented him from doing his job. Unlike her, who cared nothing about the man’s fate, Joseph did. It was both out of professional pride and devotion to his patients, even if he lacked proper bedside manner.
“Ms. Idalia, please don’t mistake my ignorance on certain topics as the need to treat me as a child when explaining them. To assume I’ve seen one or would know it on sight when none exist on earth doesn’t make you superior in the end, only more knowledgeable on the subject. After all, I don’t expect you to know everything about Earth medicine, nor do I treat you as a child because of it.” Joseph said bluntly, trying to keep the coldness out of his tone and instead only managed a mono one. His hand brought the clipboard to his side while he continued. “Now that’s over, I’m sure you rather leave now as you’ve got things to attend to. And I have a patient to treat because I do care about his fate, even if you’re disappointed he’s not a Goa’uld.”
It would be clear he was hinting back to Idalia’s comment about not caring about the man’s fate, his feet moved around Idalia and to the bedridden man’s side. He proceeded to prep the man for surgery and trusted the woman’s device had done the needed scans, though his professionalism nagged at him for it.
Idalia wordlessly stalked out of the infirmary, heading back to the Pel’tak to find out the status of the missions. Since she was now going to be beamed to her target when the time came, there was no need to wait anywhere in particular. As she went, Ariadne scolded her for how she acted. The old man may have been annoying, but she had acted like a petulant girl, not a Tok’ra. She made a mental note to find the doctor later and apologise to him. After the mission perhaps.
