You showed up.
One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.
I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.
As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.
For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.
I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.
Him being from earth is either gonna be this(And every bit of weaponry shown will somehow manifest itself. Yes, even the plane) or this
NYANI!?
Also, what has happened in this roleplay, in regards to someone dying? Or, more importantly, where did it happen? I haven't had the time to actually read through many posts that didn't directly mention me. :C
There had been a bit of a problem when it came to the whole "eating" thing, Aleph had noticed shortly after he made his decision to go to the tavern. That being the fact that food generally required some form of currency to acquire, and at this moment, he had found himself... missing his coin pouch. This was seriously bad. He was really hungry, and now that he was thinking about it, his stomach wasn't playing nice! Could this really be how he, a Hero, was to fall? This must be the work of an enemy demon!
But as luck would have it, a knight in shining armor came to his aid!
"Hello there mighty Hero. My name is Corentine de Flamel, and I am The Strongest Man in the World. Would you be so kind as to allow me to offer you a meal? I would love to get to know someone who is this. . . Just."
This was too good to be true!
....this was too good to be true. Was this some sort of trap? Could a demon in disguise be attempting to butter him up before sticking a knife in his back? What kind of monsters were they!
Well, he was pretty Famished right now so it he was willing to take such a risk.
"Corentine, you say? A strong name, for sure." Aleph responded. "I can tell you're a man with special eyes."
Aleph Banton extend his hand towards the other individual. Something about him, despite the risk, made him feel this person was alright. Maybe... even sidekick material, but that was just a feeling. He would need to know more about this man before he made any conclusion. And hopefully what the other guy said was true about the eating part. "Aleph Banton, the Hero. I would gladly take you up on that offer."
Also, I have added a new theme to my character sheet. And as for plots, I usually do witness quite a lot of those, but I must ask an important question: What kind of plot are we talking about here? Death Note plots, or like some good old Highschool DxD plots? I can maybe think of a few either way, just depends.
Aleph Banton had survived his awkward encounter with the Demon Lord's general. He had vastly underestimated the Demon Lord's power, to have such people under his command. Even though that woman had acted as though she was not beneath the Demon Lord, it was very likely this was merely an act to keep up appearances and hide her true feelings of admiration for the devil. With the power of a demon as strong as her beneath him, then surely Aleph was not as ready to fight the final fight as he had foolishly thought he was.
His right hand started to twitch.
The Hero had not fled far from the scene of his fight at all. He did not want to waste any energy, so he had only jumped until he was out of sight from the group, and simply began walking away from there. Since nobody seemed to follow him, this was apparently enough to get away with. "There is still much for me to learn, I must train harder so that evil does not emerge victorious next time!"
*RUMBLE*
...All that being said, I should probably eat. Good cannot triumph over evil on an empty stomach!
Despite the dark power rising in his hand, he knew that feasting was important to keeping one's strength up. If he showed any signs of weakness for even a second, then the power inside his hand would devour him whole, and the world would have a new threat to deal with, and a lack of a Hero to save them from it. He could not allow that to happen! Thus, Aleph's new destination was set: a tavern that had a good name around these parts. Relatively.
Wait. I should probably put my sword away. I don't sense any foes around, at least for the moment...
Holding his blade was about as natural to him as breathing, so there were occasionally times he did forget to sheathe it, and he did not want to draw unnecessary attention. At least, moreso. So, he did a quick twirling motion and his blade found its respite in the sheathe, where it would hopefully be protected from the shrapnel of food that would likely otherwise taint it were he to eat with it out.
Heroes weren't perfect, after all.
"Ah, now that I think of it, perhaps that woman was the Demon of Pride I have been hearing so much about? Powerful, especially prideful even for a demon. Yes, it makes a lot of sense now!" Aleph grinned. "With how she destroyed everything she touched, I'm sure she's a messier eater than myself."
But wait, does that mean she's BETTER than me at messily eating?
Aleph did not know how to feel about this. Aside from being evil, he did not enjoy demons being better than him at things. But it wasn't like being a messy eater was something to be proud of.... unless you were the Pride Demon!
I'll make sure to eat especially sloppy today!
And so, Aleph Banton continued walking down the street, headed for a relatively popular tavern.
It would be interesting to see how Aleph & Kurokono interacted XP , though that wouldn't happen today haha :X , also I totally didn't rip the name off Kuroko :3 ~
Probably better than Aleph and Vesta. I feel as though we started at one extreme with that interaction. But I think it's better that I don't believe any of the characters would be the other extreme, because I am not sure how Aleph would react to that.
If he could deal with Aleph's delusions, then I think they'd get along fairly okay. Maybe.
And Vesta didn't get her pride shattered by losing either :P Everybody wins! Well besides all those insects which would've been killed by her attacks but...eh.
I'm glad this fight ended how it did, as now I can bug a certain person to get their goddamned first post up. And Aleph didn't have to die or be seriously injured! Yay!
Malakaus is going to have some pretty choice words for Aleph is he keeps up this delusion hero complex to the point that anyone who fights him must be "evil". Something of a gripe for him (And by extension me) are those who consider their actions to be "good or heroic" by virtue of the notion they're suppose to be a hero. Here is a picture demonstration of how the usual "I am a hero" character plays out, in my experience.
Now I'm sure you're not intentionally trying to play him like that, or at least if you are you're aware of the flaws behind that line of reasoning. But nonetheless, Malakaus will stop this fighting. Ideally Aleph will too, because if he keeps fighting despite Malakaus telling him to, he'll have to fight the orc knight and Vesta. And while Vesta's full power could destroy a city, Malakaus' full power only kills one or several individuals at a time, depending on how many or near him. The fact he walked into this conflict without a weapon in hand is his first and only attempt to end this battle without further violence.
If Aleph was serious about fighting Vesta until he beat her, I'm sure this would be a perfect chance to learn about the RTB. Sadly, that is not the case here. The interruption was probably the best-case scenario for Aleph since he did not have to reveal one of his greatest moves, and also doesn't have to be beaten to a pulp by Vesta C:
Aleph is delusional, yes, but he's not actually arrogant enough to believe that anybody who fights him is evil or the sort. Vesta was evil long before Vesta was the person he was fighting, by virtue of being next to Kyle at that given moment. She was just the only one who seemed to care enough about his delusions to fight him lol.
EDIT: I am tempted to make a second character who is the opposite of Aleph. He'd have an unofficial Divine Curse in that he has horrible luck, is generally a bad person, and also would have fat stacks (of death) on him from random things. He would, of course, be completely insane in a not-so-fun way, and would likely attack other stand-users players often, either raising their stacks or his own.
