You showed up.
One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.
I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.
As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.
For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.
I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.

Heinrich was a very simple man with a very simple wish: to return home and enjoy his anime, his video games, and his peace and quiet. Not unlike a certain villain from one of his favorite manga series, he preferred a nice solitude to an obnoxious social circle. However, it had already been quite clear that he would get anything but the life he dreamed of.
"Hmm, I guess I will." Heinrich looked down on the corpse unconscious body of the once-lively girl who had been cowering behind him as he acknowledged Vesta's request. It had seemed that she was too physically weak to resist the awesome power that hid behind Vesta's lips while they were curled upwards. He could not say that she was weak because of this, but rather his own body was simply much stronger than the average - especially a young woman like herself. Having confirmed she was alive by the rise and fall of her chest, Ford figured that surviving an attack like that was a feat of its own, admirable for any normal person to achieve.
As the others continued to speak, it seemed that there was some sort of misunderstanding that had brought about this mess. Well, a different one involving the guy who appeared and suddenly attacked them. Not that this was too surprising or anything, it was just notable that the attacker had finally figured out that he was in the wrong. Probably. Hopefully.
And then the dragon cosplayer chick collapsed.
A sigh escaped Heinrich's lips as he felt a sudden exhaustion. This is why he didn't go out often. He had to deal with this kind of stuff. He had to deal with situations he could not account for. He had to be present near other human beings. Why? That was dumb. A computer was a lot better. He could leave situations he did not like without any reprocussions and he could enjoy his life. But not in real life. Real life was horrible. In real life, you were molested just because you happen to look like some aztec god of fitness. In real life, people wouldn't stop fawning over you for no reason, trying their damndest to be annoying. And, in real life, people hated other people, physically. And that was such a pain.
"Neither of you two are going to suddenly pass out as well, are you?" he asked Vesta and the stranger whose name he didn't catch. It seemed he could get away with remarks like that, at the very least.
Spriggs, I'm sure some strong muscular guy will decide to protect Zin from being groped and robbed while she's incapacitated! Not Heinrich, of course, but somebody ELSE fitting that description might come along!
Actually it might be fun to have Heinrich holding both Zin and Aya, one on each shoulder, wondering why he's even in this situation to begin with.
Meh, if Vesta asks maybe he'll consider it. I think I'll try to get a shitty post up tonight, while Titanfall 2 downloads. Also today's episode of Jojo was great. Dust was bitten, fun was had. Also also, that Pepsi product placement :^)
Lightning (and air) tend to be the most versatile of the abilities! There's a reason this trope exists, after all. Not that water and earth aren't either. There's less emphasis on them, typically.
There's no reason why an Air-bender should not simply be capable of suffocating people in an area or creating little bubbles of air to put into wounds to kill someone. Air's pretty brutal, plus it provides a lot of utility.
I prefer lightning the most, but I would like Earth and Air over Water because they aren't as restricted as water-bending is.
Pshh all this talk about Vesta and making it sound like she's neigh invincible and I already have the perfect plan for Aleph to beat her, in one quick attack!
Of course it would require him to be evil because of personal values restricting him.
Also it involves self harm.
And it would likely require an interaction prior between the two to confirm something.
I was considering trying to apply for a 3rd character since none of my OCs are particularly good/evil (Aleph is closer to a merc with a heroic side than an actual good guy despite what he believes), but then I realized I could probably just manipulate my OCs into positions where they would become good/evil. An obvious example is allowing Rance to become corrupted by Demon Sword Chaos.
I'm not entirely sure how I would have his madness interpreted, is the fun thing.
