I mean, part of the charm of wizards (at least to me) is how easily you could make one go full on mad scientist.
And my friends mocked me for being the only player to take advantage of the technology splatbook in base pathfinder, no I was just going to go technomancer and cybernetically enhance corpses do uh erm c-completely ethical uh erm biological research... :|

Plus, I can just imagine Jub learning new spells would just... insist on using them. Constantly. Even when he doesn't need to.
