I'd like to apologize to anybody who had questions or expressed their interest; work swamped me. Though, all I have today is work training (which I'm headed to now, shouldn't last long), then I have the rest of the day off. So, I will try my best to answer questions afterwards and work to get at least the CS up before the end of the day.

That gives me an idea if I can use it for this, heh.

Not sure what the idea is, but maybe you can use it! :) One of the physiologies I had in mind was "Ghoul Physiology" (you would be devouring demons though lol). Also, necromancy will be an available magic.


why are you using points for char creation?

As mentioned in the OP, I was really motivated by CYOA's to make something of my own. So, the point system is a tribute to that. Also, I believe that the system will push you to put a little more thought into the character creation processes. Again, there will be LOADS of options for you to create your unique character.

First and foremost, thanks for the interest! :)

Now, I'm all about character development (otherwise there wouldn't be much to look forward to, IMO). With magic, especially, we will be starting small. Though I haven't quite decided on how it will be scaled. My original thought was to do a simple 1-3 level upgrade. Level 1 being novice, 2 skilled, and 3 being a master. I'm not 100% settled on this because I feel as though the end-game attacks would be developed too quickly.

As far as the physiology upgrades, it's not something I had planned on TBH. Physiology was really just going to be the characters "base" and then that would be built upon through enhancements and magic. I really like the idea though! It would add a little something to look forward to. I'll have to put a little more thought into how it's all going to work, but I can definitely add this spice to the mix! :)

Greetings all and welcome! New player here with an idea. Recently, CYOA's have been popping up left and right on my pinterest; which motivated me to create something of my own. This is still a rough concept, but I'd like to see if it garners any interest before fully committing. I'm also open to any ideas/suggestions that you may have :) So! As Mario would say... Here we go!

What to expect


Options, options... And more options!
Much like CYOA's, I will add options to the character creation. Everyone will start with "x" amount of points to create their character. Though, as suggested, there will be plenty of options for you to create a unique character :)

What I have in mind so far:
Physiology: Scientists have the freedom to create weapons(our characters) however they desire. So, to add some diversity to our test-tube-babies, this will replace the common "race" section. Essentially, this will be your characters "base package/perks & drawbacks" For example, a character with a berserker physiology may experience a temporary power boost and pain suppression; but they become an uncontrollable rage-machine. Or! There could be a dragon physiology that gives your character scales and fire breath. So on and so forth.

Enhancements: These enhancements will push your character further into the superhuman levels, so you can deal with those pesky demons. This includes things like strength, stamina, durability, etc. (May even include some mental enhancements)

Magic: Want to run around the woods yelling "Lightning bolt!"? Good news, you can! (if you spend the points of course)
