That sounds cool! I kinda want Hibiki to be piloting an airplane now. I was also wondering how the transports will be taking us to the battlefield. Will they drop us off somewhere outside the base or can they try to get us closer? I was hoping Hibiki and Shizuka, since they're stealthy units, could get behind enemy lines to help the rest of her team get in.

Rogues can teleport and start wherever they want, remember?

Actually, I tought no one would ever ask for such a thing, of course she can do that. It's just a matter of asking.

Well it's reasonable considering Eos didn't reveal she had omniscient surveillance until just now.
That strange conversation with the Relic left behind, Alex took his leave from the scene of the fight. It really was surprising how easy it was, since he would have expected to be challenged at least once. But he wasn't going to complain about the fact that they were essentially letting him go in their pursuit of the Twins. It just made things that much easier for him.

He had made it some distance away when a loud crash filled the air, bringing him to a momentarily halt. Glancing back, a slight chill ran through him as he caught sight of the outcroppings of the Church on the skyline vanishing from sight, even as a plume of smoke and dust rose into the sky. Well, he didn't know what the Relic had had in mind before, but he was glad that he wasn't in the middle of all of that. One collapsing structure a day was generally where he drew the limit. After a moment he got back underway, leaving the area.

Once he was far enough away from the conflict zone he slowed down, swinging into the first clothes shop that he found. One purchase later and he had a new pair of pants, and now he could walk comfortably, without any real suspicion on him. He had the feeling that his relic didn't enjoy it, but to be told he was quite pleased with the situation. He'd spent all that effort to get the Relic in the first place, and getting arrested or killed was not the sort of payoff that he felt he deserved.

Drawing closer to one of his hideouts, he contemplated his options. He was back now, but he certainly couldn't just go into hiding or what have you. After so long in Arcadia he needed to commemorate his homecoming. So he'd let the heat die down a bit, and then get on planning his next heist. That would definitely make it worthwhile.

To first do so, he swung into one of the pubs nearby, sidling up to the bar and placing a few salvaged coins down for the bartender to take. "So, I just got back into town. Don't suppose someone here would mind telling me what's happened since I left," he asked, lancing around to those nearby. Time to get some information, and then he could start his planning.

Wow, Eos has a really good spy network. Miyu has literally informed four people of her plan so far.

Is it like, micro-spybots all over the demon realm? That'd be pretty boss. But it'd bring up the question of why she doesn't use that intelligence on the battlefield.

Because the faction leaders are lazy bastards who would rather be making out with each other than actually fighting a war if it weren't for the Jester telling them to.
Tartys

Somehow the angel was not surprised with the sort of company that Dora kept when she wasn't on the battlefield, though she would not have been surprised to learn that they fought together as well. She knew that the dwarf, like all dwarves really, liked to indulge in the more earthly pleasures, but she had been less certain about her friends. Now as she took a seat, she was fairly certain what the answer to that question was.

"A pleasure," she replied with a nod as Syphax introduced himself. Well, at the very least he seemed to be a capable fighter, though she hadn't yet decided whether it made up for his attitude. the more lurid talk was brushed over and she ignored it. Not that she ignored the challenge as a tray of drinks arrived, and she took one for herself while the others did the same.

A lofted eyebrow and a look of skepticism was what she gave Syphax. "I must apologize for not being insane. Prideful though I may be, I know better than to challenge a dwarf to a drinking contest. I like being able to move my limbs." Nonetheless she took a sip from her drink, feeling the burn as it went down her throat but not too put off by it just yet.

Tatiana Lorenz

Another run through the obstacle course, with Tatiana applying all that she remembered from the last run to try and improve. The fact that she had a photographic memory helped, though she knew that it couldn't compare to real computer analysis. But it was better than nothing, and she was confident that she hadn't messed up enough to warrant it just yet.

Beams of light flashed across the room as she fired, spinning in midair to fire at another target without even a pause. Of course the obstacle courses were randomized to keep one from growing complacent, but she had her own skills, her own tricks. She would have been a poor fighter if she could allow herself to be snuck up upon, especially in an environment like this. It wasn't as if her vision or other senses were being obscured in any manner.

At last her run finished, the final target dispatched and the last ring passed through. She was happy with her performance, since she knew that it had been better than the previous run. It might have only been by minor percentage points, but even those could make the difference between life or death on the battlefield. Perhaps she should practice something else next. Maybe high altitude combat? Never could go wrong with that.

Yet she was distracted, finding someone else waiting at the end of the obstacle course. After a second she idetified who it was, recalling that he had been at the meeting that she had just barely missed. It seemed that she was needed for something after all. "Tatiana Lorenz," she replied, turning to face Marquis and snapping off a salute. Her weapons were placed back into their holsters as she approached this conversation. "What is it?"

@Mega Birb
Excellent, I got accepted. Now to find a Master. Or a Servant. Joy.

Don't suppose anyone is interested?
There, Master magecraft stuff fixed. Hopefully this is better.
*Waves*

Nevsky hasn't been paired with anyone yet. Apparently you people don't like Russians or something ;_;
@Flamelord: I find it weird how there's a scientific explanation for the magical ability. The concept of 'molecules' is an inherently scientific one, after all, so... That's kinda... Yeah...
It's just changing the properties of water and liquids in general, though, so it shouldn't need an explanation rooted in science.

Heh heh, yeah, that's my own fault. Since I don't spec out Masters that often I felt like I had to explain how the magic worked for it to get accepted. My bad
Okay, a master. This will definitely be terrible, because I am very not creative when it comes to magecraft :V
