Jubilee stared at the kraken as it hit Cassiopia several times, splattering globs of the slime throughout the water to little effect. Eventually it straight up ate her with little fanfare, turning it's attention to Jubilee. A moment passed before she frowned at the mighty squid, waggling her finger at it as though it were a naughty child. "No! That's a bad squid, we don't eat Demons! Demons eat you!" Shadows all around began to contort and twist as they latched onto the kraken, eating away at its hide as it writhed and contorted in pain. The ink it had created actively worked against it, creating more darkness for Jubilee to use in consuming the many armed monster. It swiped at the darkness covering it in an attempt to scrape it off, but only succeeded in covering it's arms as it was consumed by the ravenous shadows. While all this happened Jubilee chose to just float in the water and wait for the monster to die off.

Utada was especially cautious of the immeasurable amount of sea urchins that rained from above, her armor would be able to protect her from one or two explosions, but this was absolutely insane. She carefully made her way through the minefield with the help of her suit's navigational systems and jet boosters, zipping in between the urchins with room to spare. Of course she had to turn off her cloaking due to the power being used by her nav systems, but it was worth it to avoid being shish kebabed. A message notification would pop up on Unit T's screen as she made her way through the black snow, if she accepted a direct video connection would open between the two of them.

"I'm almost through Unit-T, what's your progress on making it to the city?" She simply didn't have the concentration needed to look at how Unit-T was doing, it was everything she had to just barely avoid setting off the dangerous creatures.

Jin smiled, while most would think him shortsighted for rushing into a storm of deadly leaves, he was two steps ahead of the game. He stuffed the bolt pistol in his jacket and stopped on a dime, rolling to the left as the two waves of leaves crashed against one another. A few stray leaves cut through his jacket as he rolled to his feet, but none of them touched his skin miraculously. He pulled another gun out of his jacket pocket, pointing it directly at the storm of leaves which encircled the tree. The telltale click of a pilot light signaled that things were about to get hot. A stream of flames erupted from the barrel of the flamethrower for about 3 seconds, lighting anything in it's path on fire.

"Unless you want to be kindle for a bonfire, I suggest you move." Jin hopped backwards as he said this, creating distance between himself and the tree as he quickly switched out the flamethrower for a bolt pistol once again.

As Akira walked down the hall with his hands in his pockets, most would assume he was skipping class. Many people thought of him as a delinquent, an unfortunate rumour spread last year that never went away. In reality he was about as far from delinquency one could get, right now he had a free period so he was just wandering around to see if anything interesting was happening. Another rumour about Akira is that he was a famous thief who stole from assholes who tormented others, not that it could be proven. In a world where <Thief> was a common class it was hard to prove any one person was behind crimes. Not to say the rumours were wrong, they were quite true actually. Which lead him to the reason for his wandering, maybe if he was lucky he would find some asshole in need of attitude adjustment.

As he pondered his actions for the next hour he happened to step on a piece of paper that had been left on the floor. "Jeez, it's not like it's hard to find trash cans around here." Akira kneeled down to pick up the paper, turning it over to reveal a recruitment poster for the Monster Hunting club. He hummed to himself lightly, looks like he just found himself something to do.

As he approached the class Akira couldn't help but notice a boy around his age looking a bit bruised as he picked himself off the ground. He scanned the floor to figure out what was so slippery, quickly noticing the trail of water leading inside. Akira carefully made his way around George, watching his step so that he wouldn't look like an idiot to whoever ran the club.

Knock knock! He knocked on the open door twice, entering with a guarded expression as he looked around. "Pardon me, is this the Monster Hunting Club? I found your poster and was wondering if I could join." He held out the poster in his left hand, looking at both Vatalla and Alto as he was unsure which person ran the club.

A clacking echoed through the cavern as Jubilee walked to the edge of the water, her heeled boots making noise with every footstep. "Jeez, this temple better have some good tomes hidden inside. I was in the middle of some very important research when I got called here." She complained loudly to nobody in particular as she rubbed her neck with both hands, as soon as they dropped back to her sides a pair of functional gills was revealed. She cracked her neck and stretched her arms over her head, taking a deep breath before she dived into the water. She watched Cassiopia shapeshift into some sort of fish, swimming into the deep dark cavern to go search for their objective. Khaine meanwhile was going for the Ruins, leaving Jubilee to decide who to support.

"He looks like he can handle himself just fine without me, but the tomes are probably in the temple. Hmmm..." She floated in place for a moment, both options held their advantages. In the end she decided to trail behind Cassiopia, figuring she could use the support from a heavy hitter like herself. 'Who knows, maybe I'll run into something I've never seen before.'

Utada adjusted her helmet one last time, performing a system check on her suit to make sure everything was operating as intended. She loaded a clip of underwater bullets into her gun, making sure the safety was off and that her sights were properly lined up. All her internal systems were working as intended, she was fully charged and her internal reactor was like it had never even blown up.

Suit was working fine, no errors whatsoever on that part. Time to get to work. "Alright team, time to get out there and do our best! Let's win one for the Machina!" She yelled in her cutest voice, winking at some passing soldiers. She then dove into the water with grace, swimming alongside Bonesword towards the underwater city. "Alright bonehead, listen carefully because i don't like repeating myself. This is a simple capture and transport, don't get into unnecessary fights, search for the staff, get it to the throne room. If you see any Demons, pretend you're on their side or something and don't get in a fight with them. If you see any Angels make sure to yell before you die so I know to be on guard." With that being said she began to turn invisible as they approached the city, her active camo kicking in quickly and quietly.

Chen shook his head as he gathered himself, there were matters to be settled regarding Diana and their mission after all. He was content to play the lovestruck fool right now but the others were right in that she was causing disturbances. He would let them be the bad cops while he played dumb cop, she was already more likely to consider his words due to his facade of lovestruck idiocy. She changed back to her human form, fully dressed and ready to explain herself. "I'm sure you have a good reason for being here, a lovely lady like yourself could only have good intentions in mind!"

"Well, I guess that I should tell you what I'm doing here. Let's say that I'm waiting for a certain someone to come pick me up. It's not my fault that the animals from around here ran away when I was napping over there, relaxing in the morning sun. I mean, who'd think that even rocs would be such chickens, right?" Chen suppressed the urge to shudder, she scared off rocs just by existing. He likely would have reacted exactly the same if he had run into her while in dragon form. Twas a blessing she didn't decide to just eat him when she found him. "Either way, I shan't trouble you guys for long. That guy said he would be coming soon, after taking care of some personal business in the North. Men can be so problematic sometimes, ain't that right?" Chen's brow furrowed slightly, kinda rude but whatever. "Now, let me ask something. Since it's your mission to end this problem and all that, does that mean that you'll be staying around? I certainly could use some company. It's really boring to do nothing other than eat and sleep the whole day."

Chen quickly perked up at that, this was a good turn of events. "I would love to keep you company Ms. Diana, it would be intolerable to leave a lady alone and bored!" He also needed an excuse to keep an eye on her. While at this point he was very convinced she was completely safe, leaving her alone to do whatever is out of the question. Especially after hearing about this mystery man, there was a greater mystery behind this that needed to be uncovered. The mission won't be complete until all questions have been answered.

"Of course, I can make it worthy of your time," Chen's smile was unchanged, but his eyes widened slightly in surprise. What did she have in mind as payment? "What do you say of getting some special training? I can show you how to access the hidden potential that... some of you have. With my wisdom, I can even say that you all can become legitimate Song Knights, with a Spirit of your own, instead of the incomplete powers that you have now." The game has changed once again. Training from such an ancient creature would bolster his experience by quite a bit, possibly pushing him to the top of the class with any advice she would have to offer. Something like this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. "Ain't I amazing or not? Ehehehe."

"Indeed, you're amazing in all ways one could think of." Chen bowed deeply before Diana, smiling as he thought of how great this day had turned out. "I would be honored if you could train us for even a little bit."

Class Skills: Combat Data Sub-System:

• <<Summon>>- Active: Summons forth a powerful <<Persona>> from the depths of one's soul, whether it be a Demon, a mythological creature, or even a God. This <<Persona>> wields powerful magical abilities, ranging from storms of fire to inhuman strength able to break through buildings in one blow. The <<Persona>> summoned grows alongside the user, advancing in Level as the User does. Each <<Persona>> is unique and has different stats, however their primary strength comes from the user's <<Intelligence>> stat.
• <<Hide>>- Active: User hides in the shadows, giving them the <<Hidden>> status effect. This status effect hides the user from an enemy's sight, becoming undetectable without a high enough <<Perception>> stat. Effectiveness is determined by the <<Dexterity>> stat. The <<Hidden>> status effects drops once the user is detected or they perform certain actions.
• <<Sneak Attack>>- Active: A strike from the shadows, if the user lands a blow while under the <<Hidden>> status effect then they get a critical hit on the opponent. This inflicts massive damage and may inflict the <<Bleeding>> status effect to the opponent. This skill automatically drops the <<Hidden>> status effect.

Passive Skills:

• <<Gentleman>>- Due to the lifestyle of a <<Phantom Thief>>, the user is a man of the people. They steal from the rich and fight for the poor, making sure to always be fight for good. This gives 50% <<Charisma>> up when interacting with anyone who is not a figure of authority.
• <<Sleight of Hand>>- Of course a Phantom Thief is still a <<Thief>> at heart, meaning they live to steal from the unsuspecting. As long as the target isn't specifically expecting to be stolen from, the user can take almost any small object off the target without them even knowing. This also translates to a <<Dexterity>> up when doing anything precise with your hands.
• <<Disguise>>- Any good <<Phantom Thief>> knows that preparation is key for a good heist, so they'll disguise themselves in a variety of outfits to stake out their target and plan. The user can change their appearance with sufficient time and materials, disguising themselves as someone else and fooling anyone who looks at them. Sufficient <<Perception>> is needed to see through a disguise, only the observant can notice that a mole on the left cheek of their cousin looks a little off. The disguise also falls apart if the user has not crafted a good backstory or has taken on the role of someone's they don't know enough about.
• <<Imbue>>- The tools of your trade can only take you so far, so why not enhance them further? The user can imbue their weapons and armor with the power of their <<Persona>> granting them unique abilities to use in combat, like giving a gun the ability to shoot flaming bullets or making the user immune to <<Slashing>> damage. A user can only imbue so much power into something before they have to sacrifice the <<Persona>> however, meaning if they imbue a sword with all their power they can no longer use the <<Persona>>.

Tablet Power:<<Wild Card>>-Akira is the <<Wild Card>>, able to change himself as needed to fit any situation. This gives him the unique ability to <<Summon>> many different <<Persona>>, where most <<Phantom Thieves>> are limited to only one.

@RyuShura Ahhhh! I had completely forgotten to add them in! Thanks for reminding me! Glad you settled on a Character design!

The Monsters of Mygis are largely a mystery to humanity; manifesting without an apparent reason. They're hugely varied in appearance and strength, intelligence, organization/habits and are generally a threat. Task forces exist within Port Crescendo to deal with them. Schools usually have their own club or official group to deal with any Monsters that happen to manifest in the area.

@floodtalon I'm a huge Persona fan, too! Ahahaha. Looks good. I'm a little concerned about the number of Personae that Akira will possess, in the beginning; so I'll be watching In-Character interactions fairly closely. Just don't go overboard, and it should be good! You can move him over.
