Well there are checks and balances that aren't that. That's just an icing on the cake kind of thing. I've gotten to meet the heads of all the branches before and they're incredibly nice despite what you'd expect out of people who live that kind of life.

The branch that I’m in is a special one where everyone that’s in it has just got abilities most would call superhuman. It’s the smallest, but the nature of it means everyone gets to do something no matter what. Would be a waste otherwise.
