"It has already begun, Aella; I have given life to the oceans, and Kap-gam has given the souls that now breath through my Faliargun, who think and feel and dream. Another, the Lizard God, has set about his work already, creating the beginnings of something... but has drifted far from my sight." Orfai, one of her new Brothers, had said.

Aella realized she'd arrived after some of the others, but not that she'd arrived this late. It was a shame to be sure, not being there to watch the creation of life with her fellow Gods... But there was no time to lament.

"A fourth has created energy, but it is not life. So now, nothing grows upon the lands save the soul fungi itself. Perhaps you would remedy such?" He'd asked her. She tilted her head at his words, trying to understand whether they were a request or a genuine question. To her, it was obvious that she'd do everything in her power to protect life, but she hadn't thought as far as to actually create it. She regarded Orfai with a friendly nod of her head before responding.

"Thank you for bringing me up to speed, Brother... Orfai it is, yes? Feel assured that I will contribute to this world's beauty and liveliness as much as I can-" [@darkworlf687]

"Children? Do they eat? Do they breathe? Look around." Kap Gam said to Seihdhara, motioning to the barren state of the world. What Kap Gam had said was true, but the way she said it... Well, she could have done better. Aella regarded her fellow Goddess with a look of 'Seriously, dude? That was a shit thing to say but oh well, I still think you're cool.' @Double Capybara

A lot of things happened quickly, just in time for when her sister Seihdhara approached her and placed her hand on her cheek.

It was a warm touch, that of her new Sister. It reminded her of old friends and days spent playing under the Sun. There was no doubt, Seihdhara was beautiful - after all, what was more beautiful than a woman that wanted to protect her children? Aella her own hand on top of Seihdhara's and returned the embrace like a mother would return a child's desperate hug.

Aella let Seihdhara rest her head on her chest, which despite all the armour, felt like it was clothed in the softest silk.

'S- sister... I want to nurture - I want to nurture my children. You came through the Door - do you know how to get them from beyond? I want nothing more.' Seihdhara said, tears decorating her face.

At that moment, Aella's smile was true. As she regarded her saddened sister, she couldn't help but gently wipe away her tears and plant a kiss on her forehead. "Oh, my young, sweet sister..." She said, sadness clear in her voice, "I cannot pretend to know where your children are. Much less can I pretend to know how to reach back into our old worlds..." She fell silent and took in a deep breath of the barren air of a not-so-barren world.

"Seihdhara, we are here now. We are family. Cry as much as you need to cry, sister, but know that you're not alone. Your children may not be here with us now, but what keeps you from giving birth to more life in this new world? Do you not want to see this world filled with your little ones, to watch them grow up strong and beautiful?" Aella kept the embrace going for a short while longer before gently disengaging with another kiss to Seihdhara's forehead. "Sweet sister, I'm here for you, remember that. Let me know if you ever need someone to talk to. Also definitely let me know if you want someone to watch over your little ones." She gave a soft chuckle before walking away, into the nearby forest, created by the God of Life. @Kho

Summary

Just a lot of interaction, dudes. Aella responds to Orfai, gives Kap Gam a disapproving look and talks to Seihdhara.

In the end she just walks away into the nearby forest.

Oh I see how it is. I see how it is. Seihdhara marries a couple of grizzlies and suddenly everyone's running for Aelia. Well you know what? AeliaxSeihdhara is obviously the bestest pairing. They came into the world crying. Both are stronk warriors.

Her Tears - Optional Read

The Goddess stood there, in the middle of the largest battlefield Existence had ever seen. The world, previously so full of life and wonder, was now a burnt husk. The skies were red with the blood of Gods, the soil was black with ash and wet with the life of mortals.

Behind her was a forest, still on fire. The distant screaming of a maddened, pained beast rang through the wasteland.

Gray clouds moved overhead, blocking out what little light passed through the bloodied sky.

The Goddess looked down at herself. Her armour was covered in all kinds of blood and grime, organs and flesh clinging to the sharp bits. The metal covering her arms was charred and her knuckles bled profusely. Her beautiful, ever-shining spear was cracked and shined no more, as the soul of a God and his innumerable followers were now trapped inside it.

She looked around. Her body didn’t move, but her heart did. These plains had once housed one of the great races, but now all it housed were ruins and the mutilated bodies of everything she knew.

Her heart hurt. How had it all come to this? Where did they go wrong? Why couldn’t they stop themselves? Why didn’t she do more?

She let go of her spear and it fell onto the dead soil, joining the rest of the world.

The Goddess felt her eyes water as she walked through the field. She found the body of her Sister, broken and laying on a mound of her attackers. She saw the body of her Brother, his own stuck stuck through his gut, it seemed like he couldn’t take it either.

She saw her family torn to shreds in this field, this beautiful field. She saw friends, foes, followers and monsters fight and die here. She had fought here as well, she had killed some of her brothers and sisters. She was a monster, too.

The distant screams of the pained beast died down. That added another brother to the list of those she’d killed that day.

She looked at her hands. Mangled as they were, dirtied with blood, guts and tears as they were, she saw them for what they used to be, for what they were used to achieve in the past. Just then, as her eyes focused past her hands, she saw them.

The one family of mortals she had sworn to protect, these were the people who no matter what, always cared for others. They brought shelter, food and work to those in need. When things got bad, she promised them that she’d keep them safe.

Oh, how wrong she was.

There they were, in front of her. A man lying on the ground, dozens of stab wounds on his back and a sword impaled into his heart. He was on top of a child, a little girl no older than three. Her expression was eternally twisted into one of terror. She’d seen her father murdered, was bathed in his blood, and then murdered herself when the sword used to impale her father impaled her by coincidence.

“Why…” the Goddess asked as she sunk to her knees, “Why…” She repeated, covering her face with her mangled hands. Warm tears escaped her eyes and slipped through her hands onto the bodies of her friends. She sobbed, alone in a dead world. Then she bawled like a newborn, wrapping her arms around herself. There was no comfort in the act, though.

A voice rang in the distance.

The Goddess perked up. That wasn’t possible, everyone was gone by now. She was the last one.

Its echoes returned and the Goddess blinked to see a great Door in front of her, just a step away from the bodies of her friends.

The voice rang once more and while the Goddess wasn’t able to make out the contents, she felt the warmth that came with the message. She toned down her bawling after some effort and watched as the ground beneath the Door turned into pearly sand. Her tears kept falling, but now her sobbing had stopped s well.

As quickly as the Door and sand appeared, though, they were as quick to leave. When she saw them beginning to vanish, the Goddess stretched her wounded arms toward the Door and was blinded by a flash of light.

A being made of pure light walked through the Door and sank to her knees on the sand. As the light made way to her form, one could see for the briefest of seconds a broken husk of a Goddess, with mangles arms, bloodied armour and caked hair. Then, the light washed over her and she was healed and brought back to splendor.

Long golden locks of hair flowed in the salty sea breeze. Bright blue eyes observed her healed hands with awe and her sickly, pale skin regained its rosy tone. Essence and Might flowed through her veins again and her heart had been healed.

She immediately turned toward the door and saw nothing that she knew. Her world was gone. She shed one last tear for the fallen.

She was renewed and a mere prod into the limits of her power showed that she was as weak as the first day she walked into existence. She took in a deep breath and realized that this was a good opportunity - a great one, in fact - to start over again and do things right. To protect the mortals from one another and keep her new friends and family well.

She turned towards the other Gods present and forced a gentle smile.

“I am Aella,” Her voice rang throughout the area yet was somehow still gentle and soft, as if her very speech was an embrace to whoever heard her, “let’s create and nurture, Brothers and Sisters.”

Summary

Aella observes the state of her world after the great battle of the Gods and breaks down crying after realizing she’s the only one left alive, although wounded and bleeding out.

After a few moments, the Door appears and in fear of it vanishing, Aella goes through it quickly and finds herself in the new world, surrounded by her new family.

She introduces herself and and refers to the others and brothers and sisters.

Life(Healing)

Life is the aspect of existence that processes, acts, reacts, evaluates, and evolves through growth. The crucial difference between life and non-life (or non-living things) is that life uses energy for physical and conscious development. Life is anything that grows and eventually dies, i.e., ceases to proliferate and be cognizant. Can we say that viruses, for example, are cognizant? Yes, insofar as they react to stimuli; but they are alive essentially because they reproduce and grow. Computers are non-living because even though they can cognize, they do not develop biologically (grow), and cannot produce offspring. It is not cognition that determines life, then: it is rather proliferation and maturation towards a state of death; and death occurs only to living substances.

Furthermore, In Life there is anguish; Mental, Physical, Spiritual. Within this pain, healing has it's genesis. By formal definition, the meaning of healing is broad and complex: To Heal = to restore to health or soundness. To set aright; mend. To restore to spiritual wholeness. To return to health. Because of this, Ipeyr is often found influencing his followers amidst the bodies of dying, so they return them to health. To Life.

Ipeyr is in all ways a benevolent being. He is heavily dedicated with his followers, whom describe him as "A truly kind god" or "A savior". These statements are in fact true, as he's never once enacted ill-will upon the world, nor allowed a being to die.(A being whom he deemed wasn't ready to die. He is well aware that while Life must ebb eventually, that is the only way for it to begin again). Despite being a god, he's oddly laconic, only saying whats important and not much else.

He's not known to converse with the other gods, nor interfere with their plans. It's a matter of mutual respect and simple not caring for matters he deems "unimportant"

Simple; Ipeyr is on the side of Life and thus wishes to aid it, mainly his followers.

Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

When he does choose to manifest in a physical form(always human), Ipeyr normally dons simple stark white-well-everything. It's really an eyesore and a dramatic contrast to wherever he appears. His hair is wheat gold and droops in messy curls like a veil in front of his visage. Said visage consist of light olive skin, embellished with thin pink lips, a rather flat nose, and finished with warm umber hues. Nothing to differentiate himself from a normal person, other than his unusual clothing.

Gotta let you guys know, my country's going insane lately. Last two days I've had my electricity rationed for a total of 12 hours each day, going from noon up to early morning in most cases. So if the IC starts and I don't post quickly, you know that I'm being a caveman and smashing rocks with wooden clubs in my apartment.

Light (Kindness)

Without light, you are blind. When you are blinded, your heart shrivels and your soul withers away, leaving behind a mere husk.

Aella's the embodiment of the Light that allows you to See. When you allow her into your heart, you begin to see everything clearly. You see everyone's struggles, everyone's dreams, you cry the tears they're too afraid to shed themselves and feel compelled to help them achieve peace.

Aella doesn't use her powers in a flashy, overt way, instead going for the subtler route; having the skies part in the perfect moment and direction to reveal the path to a nearby river when you're thirsty or to a nearby caravan of pilgrims when you're wounded and bleeding.

Aella sees herself as one more pawn in a futile, endless game of chess played by those beyond her comprehension. This belief, however, pushes her toward striving to be the oasis that sates people's thirst after a day of travelling the desert that Life is. In a world where you can lose everything in the blink of an eye, Aella will always be there to give you a safe place to weep until you find your feet once more.

She believes in the strength and valour of mortals and strives to show each and every one the kindness and comfort they need. She is the shoulder you cry on when all seems futile, she is the river in which you clean your wounds after a fight with the local bullies, and she is the fruit-bearing tree you find after days of being lost in the forest.

Finally, Aella's a peaceful Goddess and will never willingly harm another being, be they evil or not.

Goals
Aella seeks only to bring peace to the world and to help make life into a pleasurable experience rather than one filled with hardships and loss. She doesn't think in terms of alliances or politics, so more often than not she'll help whoever asks anything of her, as long as the request doesn't involve hurting anyone else.

Appearance
Aella takes on the appearance of a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, beautiful seven-foot tall woman donning a marvelously crafted set of armour and with a pair of huge, angelic wings. Her face always wears a soft expression and her body gives off an aura of serenity and pure love that moves even the most battle-hardened warrior to tears.
