Age: 24

Sex: Male

Offensive Power: Telekinesis

Defensive Power: Super Strength

Enhanced Power: Enhanced Regeneration

Appearance: will finish

Bio: Due to his ability, Michael was an outcast early on in his life. In time, he used his power for his own personal gain. Michael used his talents as sort of a gun for hire. As long as the pay was great, Michael partimitated in theft, robbery, bounty hunting, and even assassination. Because his motivation was the dollar, the government basically bought him out for their own gain, rather than spending money trying to cage him up. Michael now finds himself on a team of others with varying backgrounds. Will he integrate, or will he just keep things strictly business?

Lmao I hope not.

So @ProjectOdin, what kind of standards do you plan to enforce? This a pretty open RP as far as character concepts go, and I would greatly appreciate an assurance that we won't be drowning in Mary Sues.

Hahaha. What's the problem???
Can I reserve head master
The Dark Man
Quantum HQ, Washington D.C.

Though his face could not be made out or seen for that matter, the man in Riley's cell seemed to be disappointed.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" He roared before Riley was suddenly grabbed by the throat and thrown into the same wall she had hit moments earlier. This time was different however. As soon as Riley'stood back hit the wall, it shattered like glass. The girl was now falling from the sky with the Dark Man watching her from above. "Huh bitch! Do you think I'm a fucking joke?! I want you to see HER! Find her..." His voiced boomed this alternate reality as Riley fell before she landed softly into a giant pitch black palm. The Dark Man was now the size of a skyscraper, holding Riley like a child held an insect before squashing it. "Or I will kill you! Show me her face, Riley! If you want to live you'll do what I... shit... I'll be back Miss Smith. Find a way to find her or I'll make sure no one ever finds you.
"You're Friend"
Riley's Cell, Quantum HQ (D.C.)

"You know this is getting more and more interesting with my second time around." The distorted voice said. All Riley could hear was the voice before she found herself waking to being slammed against one of the walls of her cell. Her body stuck to the wall as if she was being pinned by an invisible force. "That's better. Now that you're 'awake', we can really chat it up.

The Dark Man stood in the center of Riley's cell, facing her the same way he had done in the vision of her home. Riley soon felt her body be let free to fall to the floor. The Dark Man just silently looked out to see the guards who could not see him in return. It was only normal that they couldn't, he was basically something only Riley could see.

"I didn't think it was possible, but we're linked now... just like he said we would be... nice... So four guards for just your cell. I gotta admit that you probably are more valuable than I thought you were. And that's why I'm here. You find people right? Well, I need you to find someone. An Evo with the power to create storms, located in southern Florida by the name of Miranda. Put your powers to use, and I'll save you." The Dark Man said as he took a seat on her bed and awaited Riley's response.
Michael Thomas & Jennifer Cho
Parking Garage, Miami

"I don't trust this." Jennifer said as she looked down at the captured task force who had been assigned to take her and her resistance out. Jennifer didn't know much about Michael except for the fact that he was more powerful than he led on. Jennifer could see Michael basically turning her and her group into slaves under his will, but he did not attempt it. For once she had found someone hell bent on destroying Quantum, and they weren't on a complete power trip or insane. It was rare to come across, but she would not count on a telepath to be one of thesessions cases.

"You don't trust this? Or is it that you don't trust me? Rhetorical question, I know." Michael said before flicking his finger upward. The task force stood on their feet immediately. "I don't blame you though. You see, we all found out about what trusting too much gets you." Michael said this loud enough for others to hear in the dimly lit garage. "We have to cooperate with each other though. We have be strong, not just look it or talk it, because you'll just create another traitor... That last guy... he did it out of fear. He didn't think you could accomplish what you were preaching lady. That's why he chose disloyalty over the thought of dying..." Michael smirked as he stepped away from Jennifer.

"We have to make moves against them or it's just gonna be a one sided match. Sure, we play a mean game of defense, but the enemy isn't going down unless we land a punch! The only way we can start though, is for us to work together. Us versus them. We've shown we can beat them on a small scale, so let's start increasing our numbers. We're going to head to Texa tonight, but first I need every one of you to go out and find others like us who are ready to fight. Tell them what we did to Quantum. Tell them that we can only do more with their help. Let them know, Jennifer's crew has a new weapon and that we together are the paragon of the new world!"

Michael looked at Jennifer as he said the last part. He had spoken into the minds of all of her subordinates within the parking garage, but her soldiers were waiting on her command. She looked at her people who began to gather around her, Michael, and the task force. She bit her bottom lip and looked down before peeking up at Michael who no longer held a smile, but a look of conviction. Even if she didn't trust him, she knew that the young man was definitely serious.

"You heard him..." She said in a low voice. "Go! Rally our people! Do it in secret! Go in small groups to remain protected.... We leave tonight at nine!" She added lastly.

"That's what I'm talking about. Now, onto our first official move in this match." Michael said as he looked at the task force. "You all will go about your regular duties. You were the only survivors. You will tell them how you were blindsided by the Children of Azrael. They screamed about how much they hated hypocritical Evo lovers like Quantum. Then after your back brief of all of this crazy stuff I'm putting in your memory, I want... You to keep being Jen's meat suit....You three to kill off some of your own... the three of you can tell the media about how you strongly believe Senator Elizabeth Reyes is a dangerous Evo with a mental ability and about how her nephew, Michael Thomas is an Evo too with the same power and who has escaped a Quantum prison.... And you last four... the Quantum agents... I just want you to free as many Evos as you can from your prisons in the D.C. area. Try working together so you can actually get it done... All of you are gonna complete these misions or die trying. Go!" The task force quickly went on the move, except for the one who was there to service Jennifer.

"It's a blessing that you fell into my lap." Jennifer was impressed with what Michael was doing and who he actually was. It was no wonder his telepathic abilities were so powerful, he was related to the most powerful telepath enlisted in Quantum.

"Oh don't go getting excited yet, wait till I get us Miranda. Now her power is a real game changer!" He said with excitement as he walked towards his self assigned APC.

Michael Thomas
Underground Parking Garage, Miami

A yawn escaped Michael after he had propped his legs up on the dashboard. It had been pretty hard trying to find a place to duck down in, especially with two APCs. All in all, the day was successful. Michael had gotten a group of Evos willing to fight back on his side. He would have loved to recruit the Guardian Angel that was mentioned at the vigil, but the only lead he had was that trailing thought that he heard just before being teleporter to Jennifer's hideout.

Miranda... The name had meaning and no meaning all at once. If he had only been able to stay... The thought presented itself for a short time as he glanced over to the passenger's seat at Anna. I wouldn't have gotten all of this though.... maybe I can go out first thing in the morning Michael yawned again. He thought silently to himself about what he would do to start. He would first have to do some actual research. He groaned as he knew the quest for this Miranda woman would take all day. Luckily he had time since he pretty much mind fucked the owners of this parking lot to let them stay for as long as they needed to be there. Meanwhile, Jennifer would go and recruit more Evo's and her group would gather supplies. Hmm... that's weird. It almost feels like there's... Michael looked around before shaking his head.

"Anna can you pull watch while I take a nap." Michael had a very intense look on his face before he went to sleep. Something was definitely wrong. Little did he know, it was a lot worse than just wrong.

"The Darkman"
The Mind of Riley, Quantum HQ

Riley Smith slept on floor of her cell, sprawled out on the ground as she had only fallen asleep from her exhaustion. She almost felt as if going to sleep would be like pulling herself away from all of this. All of the pain. Riley was sadly mistaken as nightmares of the event that occurred in her home replayed through her mind. These nightmares weren't even scary, they were sad... depressing. As another countermeasure of escape, her power activated on its own as it did often when she slumbered. To escape through the life of another. It was now her only antidote to this depression.

The scenery of her dream changed around her as a vision of a random Evo began to form. Who could it be? What would they be experiencing? How long would it last? The silence and sight of nothing did not answer these questions.

Suddenly the scenery of Riley's home returned, though it was a lot dimmer and her parents weren't there with her. Not even Max Stross and his agents appeared to be present. Instead, there was a figure rocking in a chair in her living room. A black figure that couldn't be recognized. Like a shadow that had come to life.

"Hello... Riley. It's nice to meet you.... Take a seat. We have a lot to discuss." The figure said with his deep ominous voice as a chair appeared in front of Riley.

"Hello... Riley."

Name: "The Darkman"; "Your Friend"
Age: ??
Gender: Male

Ethnicity: Unknown
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Religion: Agnostic
Occupation: None
Ability: Displays the ability to enter Riley's mind while she uses her power.
Personality:
Background: To be revealed

"Life for me is dark and miserable, but I won't curse something that I can't control"

Name: Jennifer (Jen) Cho
Age: 34
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5'
Weight: 120 lbs
Ethnicity: Chinese
Sexuality: Bisexual
Religion: Athiest
Occupation: Former Quantum Agent/ Currently in hiding

Ability: Non-Corporeal Form - Jennifer possesses the ability to take on a non corporeal form at will. In this form Jennifer is somewhat like a spirit/ghost. She is able to phase through solid objects, levitate to some degree, and enter another person's body. When entering another person, Jennifer must be able to fight the will of the host. The host can either comply to allow her to take control, or continue to fight her off constantly until she gets too exhausted to remain latched onto them or until the victim becomes too dangerous to themselves after her mental torture. Energy based attacks can irritate her in this form, but it's the equivalent of a person being viciously sprayed by a garden hose.

Personality: Due to her adoption by Quantum Industries, Jennifer was raised to be a natural cold blooded killer. Unlike Johanna Phillips, Jennifer seems to be a bit more stable since she came from a healthier upbringing before being introduced to Quantum. Still, she isn't the type of person to be happy go lucky. Jennifer likes to be straight forward, and hates when people either bead around the bush or just give way too much information when explaining things. Her tough persona is easily displayed in how harshly she talks to others and her dominance. Due to her dominant nature, Jennifer hates taking orders from people she can't trust or who she feels are not cut out for the job of giving direction. Her views on Quantum are negative. She broke away from them after she got wind of what they may be doing to the world. Sure, she didn't mind making a quick buck off of bounty hunting Evos, but Quantum was going too far by interfering with politics and human rights.

Background: Jennifer was born in Staten Island, New York City. Her parents were Chinese who immigrated from Thailand. Jennifer struggled when it came to making friends at school, due to how traditional her family raised her. Things only became worse when she discovered she obtained an ability. Luckily it revealed itself while she was at home with her father who was teaching her the basics of Muay Thai. The practice was strenuous and the reason why she was able to access her ability in the first place.

After her father witnessed the use of her power, Jennifer was no longer allowed to go anywhere. Her parents decided to home school her, further isolating the girl from other children. They had told her it was because she was too special to be among them. They continued to preach this until the day her parents handed her over into "professional hands". Within the grasps of Quantum as the age of 15, the organization honed her base skills as well of her control over ability. When she was 18, Jennifer was sent on scouting missions, and with time, she her reputation allowed her to perform solo covert operations. They gave her the nickname of "the Phantom", but she preferred Jen. Jen remained in Quantum for years until the registration act.

Jen is currently ducking down in Miami, Florida, trying to bring forth a real resistance, not the one that was recently broken up by the FBI.
Michael Thomas
Candle Lighting Vigil, Miami

In the midst of the gathering surrounding the candle lighting vigil, Michael stood on the sidelines to observe behind the scenes. Though the weather and atmosphere was soothing, Michael could not help but to be a bit aggravated. He displayed this by his numerous sighs and the shaking of his head from time to time. These guys are weak... What a waste of time. From what he could gather from the crowd, they were a sobbing mess and the Evos in the area were Level 2 at best. He could have left, but a piece of him couldn't help but to feel bad. They were helpless and it didn't help that they couldn't do anything about it. He leaned his back against a signpost which was not as comfortable as he expected His eyes looked from person to person until they set on a man who had just realized he was next up to speak. Him. Michael thought as he focused on his target.

The man was a father and a husband. If it was ever up to him, he never missed a Sunday of church. He was currently widowed due to the riot and had spent a lot of his time debating with himself about whether or not he would speak or even attend for that matter. He was hurt in a way Michael could not understand. He stepped to the podium with his sweat spotted light blue dress shirt, khaki slacks, and dark brown dress shoes. A bouquet of flowers hung from the tight grip of his left. He did not think he could do this, but that did not matter as he felt a dizziness. He shut his eyes in response and shook his head before everything went black. There was nothingness.

When the man opened his eyes, he was not the same man. His stature was strong and confident. The way he looked at crowd was how a proud leader looked at his loyal subordinates. Ironically he was just a puppet being used by Michael who smiled in the background.

"Today... I was going to come up here to speak about the tragedy of the riot... The only person I loved most in this world was taken from me, and I honestly don't know what to do with myself..." The man's feelings spilt into Michael's control over him, but the young telepath accounted for it. In fact, he preferred it. "Then I got to thinking... What the hell are we doing?! Seriously! We come here crying for our loved ones, trying to feel sorry for ourselves, and regretting we ever tried to do what we thought was right! Is this what they would want? For us to just... to just give up like this?! Sure, we may not have helicopters and hitech equipment, but we have numbers... For Christ's sake, we have people with powers on our side! What the government is doing to these people is wrong. And yes I said people! They put them in prisons for just using what is natural to them. That's like telling me that I can't speak! That I can’t walk! That I can't sleep!" Several people began to feel inspired, and Michael could just hear the thoughts of others that were slowly being swayed as well.

"What about Quantum and the Evo Division?!" Michael shouted from the back. This shit is priceless

"Quantum should be brought down! Yes I said it, and you should all say it too. It's their faults the world is the way it is! Don't you find it weird how this group who has helped with regulating Evos has Evos in their ranks? And these laws don't apply to them! I bet you all didn't know that did you? You think it's weird that the most dangerous and powerful Evos are either in prison or in their ranks. Doesn't that leave them with all the power? And yes, feel free to record this. Put it on YouTube, sell it to a local new station... Because these questions aren't just for you all in the crowd, it's for those evil fearing pricks locked away in their offices. The mayors, the governors, the congressmen, the president... all of you don't even realize that you're feeding a beast that you don’t even have control over. With that I'm done. May all who passed in the riot find peace." The man turned from the podium as people clapped and set his flowers with the other tributes.

Good job! Now get going. You gotta celebrate at home.

Michael was pleased by the speech, and almost decided to stay. He could already see that others were going to also speak out against the government. Reviving a dead resistance wasn't his goal, but it satisfied him. He was ready to leave, but he noticed a thought that made him stop mid step. His sights landed on Evan who had a wandering thought about an Evo, a powerful one at that. Stopped a storm that big? That probably means should make one too. No name, but he's looking into it... I guess I'll stick around, at least until someone breaks this whole thing up.
