Michael Watts a.k.a Omega

Back at the HQ, Michael was back at the bench press lying down with his arms crossed as he lifted the bar with his mind. His eyebrows furrowed and the intense look on his face showed how bothered he was. He didn't want to go to the medical wing to see theveryone damage and he damn sure didn't want to see it on the news. If he was a lot stronger, he could have put the fire out on his own.

Why do I even care? The mission was accomplished. It was in the heat of the moment. I took charge and we did what we could do with what we had.

His com link sat on the floor beside the bench, just waiting for the whole team to be called into some sort of meeting. Until he had his thoughts and the swift movements he could hear from someone practicing some sort of combative martial arts. He was never a student to such teachings and only relied on his brawler type of style and his powers to overpower his opponents. He did see an art to having ano actual fighting style.

Suddenly the bar rattled as it was being lifted and dropped. He quickly caught the bar with one hand before placing it up. Sitting up, he glanced at Wicked. She was blowing off steam as well.

"With all the money that got shelled out into this place, I figure you would have invested in some kind of combat room. " He said as stood up and put on his com link.
Gotcha! Fixed

The sudden explosion caused Michael to use his telekinesis to block the shock wave with an invisible force.

A lucky civilian managed to be unintentionally saved by Michael's action. He looked back at the saved child who stared at him in awe.

"Get out of here!" Michael shouted before telekinetic ally lifting and pushing the boy far from where the explosion had happened. Michael looked at the flames spreading and sighed. He didn't want to do this, but what other option did he have. "Team! Listen up, Gyro, do you think you can collapse the fuel station. Like make it sink. I don't care how fast you can do it. We just need it done! Visi... let me know if anyone is alive in there. As for everyone else. Go on the defensive against any remaining threats." Michael said as he looked around at all of the statue limbs on the ground before causing several to rise and fly into the fire at first it seemed as if he was accomplishing nothing, but the flames began to slowly get snuffed out.

A small crater appeared a few meters away from Black Cheshire. It had taken a bit, but as the dust settled, nine other than Omega had appeared in the flesh.

"Don't you look amazing." He said with a smile. "Get yourself to HQ. Coach just put me in the game." Michael ironically seemed excited to stretch his legs.

A statue came at him with a punch, which then countered with his own punch cracking the foe until it fell into pieces.

"Seriously, where are the metal ones." He said as he eyed several statues of mixed composition as his next targets. He leapt at the group of enemies, knocking a metal statue down with a punch to the head. It had fallen, but wasn't out. It did however have fist shaped dent in its head now. He quickly reached out his hand and used his telekinesis to compactt one of the stone statues into a sphere of stone before slamming in onto another stone statue. He pushed the rest of the statues away from himself so he could focus on the one with the pretty lousy face. If I can dent them, I can shape them Michael thought as he began to pound, twist, and contort the statue into a huge club-like weapon. Michael held it in both and before lunging forward into a group of statues as he swung the weapon. Heads and shoulders cracked, shattered and flew at the booming sound of the impact.

Damn, I knew I should have used a baseball reference to Wicked instead of a basketball.

From a friendly handshake to a surprise beatdown, Michael found himself lying on the floor facing up at the well known Wicked. His face displayed a look that he hadn't shown since he had arrived here. His eyes were piercing, and there was silence that filled the room after Wicked had spoke. It was long enough to anticipate some sort of retaliation from Michael, but he wouldn't wait that long to strike back. He was just waiting for his immediate feelings to expire before smirking.

"Understood... Now I don't know if you're trying to mount me or what, but what do you suppose I do? They're pretty much done fighting those statues" Michael said from the floor as he pointed at the television that showed the local news. He wanted to eat his words as more statues seemed to turn up. With a sigh, he used his telekinesis to lift himself off the ground in one fluid movement. "I'm telling you right now, putting me out there is like putting Kobe in a JV high school basketball game."

"Broken? Don't think so. I'm keeping watch over the HQ... just in case the current incident is just a distraction. It's what I would do up against an amateur team..." Michael answered before his eyes got a chance to recognize who he was talking to. His eyes widened a bit before he sighed.

"So the real leader actually showed up? Pleasure to meet you, Wicked." Michael said as he stood up and held out his hand to shake hers. It was as if nothing was wrong with what he was doing.

Michael smirked at Jessica's joke. Now her personality was one he could get used to. Sure, she seemed to be a bit out there, but she was no where near as uptight as the others he ran into so far.

"Finally someone with a sense of humor. I thought I was going to have to change teams." Michael cracked back before another one of his teammates that he did not notice in the room chuckled. I guess I'm finally seeing the better side of the team. He thought. Michael was going to continue talking to Jessica, but Brian came over with some news. Even with how grave he said the situation was, his tone seemed to downplay it almost entirely. The alarms that went off suddenly said otherwise.

"So our leader needs back up?" Michael raised an eyebrow and walked over by the seating area so he could see the television more clearly. "Hmm... I'll think about it." He looked towards where Brian once was and noticed he was already on the go. "You going Jessica? I think I might stay here and make sure this place is nice and safe." With the last word he sat himself back in one of the plush chairs. "If it gets any worse than this, I'll step in to help, but I'm sure the team has this. It's just glorified statues. Vandals beat these things all the time." He chuckled.
Damn I should have read in here first. I had Mike tell Naomi where to buy a tv. Maybe she hasn't seen it in her room since it's in the living room part.

Michael was nearly out of the lounge, but turned around at Naomi's question.

"I'd try the store upstairs by the gym. I didn't look at any prices, but it won't hurt to give it a look and pay for what you want after your first check." Michael advised as he figured his words would send the girl running upstairs in a heartbeat. As he stood near the doorway that would guide one into the hallway, Michael turned his attention to the second female who had entered. Jessica.

"I'm Mike, that's Naomi a.k.a Black Cheshire. And don't tell me you're underage too?" As he eyed her drinking soda.

Michael's eyebrows rose from Naomi's initial statement. Well that's a cat that could of stayed in the bag... He thought before she seemed to snap at him a bit. Michael narrowed his eyes for a second before smiling back at her malicious smile.

"That's peachy. I could say you have one up on your mother. You're doing exactly what she did and you're sober... I'm not asking you to like me, but aren't on a team. I might get the epic chance of saving your life one day, or I can say 'I don't much care.'" He mocked as he got up and revisited the bar to grab the bottle of Jameson and exit the lounge. Michael wasn't the nicest guy around, but he respected giving some their needed space.
