Fire has dual uses, she was able to keep the man away from her even for a split seconds and she felt a sigh of relief not only from that, but from the intense flames cauterizing the wound that he just gave her. She was still in a lot of pain, but she now at least wouldn't bleed out, the fight was still on. She had a moment to notice the man surviving the attack and while heavily burned and smoking he was very much alive and active. His eyes were still glowing, and Rodetta deduced that whatever power increased his speed probably increased his durability to withstand her attack as well. She wondered how long the boost would last but not before taking action!

She wasn't just taunting, the ships mast had indeed began to catch fire in certain places, it was a slow burn because most of the wood on the ship was damp and keeping the flames from catching to quickly but the flames had already began to climb the mast, getting closer the ship's very flammable sails. As Rodetta shouted she hurled her javelin at the still airborne man, he was descending but the javelin had homing abilities so at this range even with her arm in pain it was a blisteringly fast projectile.

During the jump the man had thown a Katanna at her, which was fast but not as aerodynamic as a homing javelin which gave her enough time to raise her shield once again and block the oncoming sword, deflecting it away at an angle. She pulled out her own sword immediately after the block and took a fighting stance along with her battle cry.

@Everett how does sky's limit breaks work? Because they cant be auto hitting, if the first part the attack misses or is blocked, what happens to the rest of the sequence?

Graham was pretty much everything her grandfather described him as. Stoic, with a machine like approach to duty and practice, and ironcast to his philosophical belief. It was admirable but very familiar, being a local girl, Penny had grown up around men and women like this her entire life. This part of Alaska breeds this sort of attitude.

Listening to the other pilots ask questions was fascinating, like watching an impromptu interview take place in front of her very eyes, she noticed that while visibly intimidated that the commander Joshua Ray was firmly sticking to his morals about not committing senseless crimes, which Penny could respect at least. But her stance was different, Penny had no problem killing people, seeing vicious atrocities across the globe in her media career had made her quite desensitized to mindless violence, and while not a sadist herself, she would be happy to follow violent orders. Her only real empathy is for the people of Smith's Rest where she considers her home and her community. Her family instilled it in her to protect it at all costs, which includes killing people from other areas and factions. Her mind was made up. But she was still curious about something.

Sir, I've lived in my Smith's Rest my entire life and my family helped build the colony when it was founded. I love being here, but will our missions allow us to travel the world? I want to learn as much about the other factions and civilizations as possible,for the greater good of protecting my home here.

There was no getting around it, Rodetta was not expecting that, she had distance and form on her side, but the assailant countered with some sort of boost to his speed which made her very accurate spear attack miss, as he curved round the tip of her javelin she realised her weapon had side was exposed, she was not going to be able to block this, but she was still in a fight and wasnt going to cower, not yet.

The War princess couldn't do much in the short time before the now double fast man closed in with his attack but she raised her spear arm and rolled her shoulder to attempt to bock or deflect the blade with her gauntlets. It didnt work. She felt the Katanna impact the side of her bicep, glancing off the thicker armor there and cutting into her flesh around her shoulder and her back, only her shoulder roll kept the attack from going clean through her, but it was a devastating strike leaving a large gash from the back of her collarbone to near the back of her elbow. The moment she felt the blade she let the fire inside her surge forward and all around her. This is what her body was heating up for. An instant forcefful Explosion of flames burst out 9 feet in every direction around her. The area attack was small but it was focused. Amplified by the frightening pain of the sword strike, the outwards shockwave was defensive too, pushing the Katanna back so the blade would not dig any deeper into her flesh. The sound of the magical flame explosion rocked the very core of the ship and some of the dryer wood would begin to catch fire.

I don't want to play with you fiend, but the FIRE will play forever.

Perhaps Xing and Zande could have just an old fashioned peak human brawlfest, no armor or weapons, in the vein of Mortal Kombat. Zande is hyper aggressive and as brutal as it can get, but the only "style" he could be attributed to is

The dude can't tell Kung Fu from Kung Pao chicken, and knows exactly jack shit about traditional martial arts. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything or try to lure you in with false temptations of potential advantages that Xing might have over Zande (unlike certain other players might), given how Vale Tudo reigns supreme and gouging is arguably much closer to that than Kung Fu, and how Zande's specialty is mauling people up close. Regardless, this is about as fair as I can make things.

I actually prefer Unranked matches, by the way, as they are far more friendly and less prone to OOC crap. Combat flows so much more easily when there isn't anything on the line.

Well the reality of it is, when you shrug off all pain and don't recoil from any damage you take while being a super strong beserker, martial arts kind of go out of the window, especially when the opponent is unnarmed.

But Im not asking you to bend to my will, you challenged me, and I'm just letting you know why Im not able to take on the 4 youve put forward, No biggie.

Hahahah ive actually read Kentucky Tom's sheet, i laughed out loud 4 times.

I'm not fighting a monster, that takes magma pater out of the equation.

Which leaves Gonad and Zande, who both just seem like insanely tough tanks with tougher armor who keep coming forward regardless of injury unless you can kill them. I just don't think I have any characters that can put up with that level of physicality. Maybe Xing Yi but we would have to clear up a lot of specifics first.

Sorry if I sound like a bitch-ass N**ga, but I know youre a top ranked certified bad-ass and I dont want to walk into a one sided ass kicking if I can help it. Already had that from Rilla and Skalla in the past.
