ROLES

Specialists in various fields are what make a well rounded team. When making your Character Sheet, the role should be what you pick first as this is the 'build' or 'class' which will be the foundation of your characters skills. There are 7 to choose from and there will be one per character. So no one will have the same class. Note that none of the roles have a 'weakness' each character will be a highly skilled well rounded individual, the Role simply dictates what your Operative is best at.

TIMELINE

I disagree.

@Dynamo Frokane

I have to beg the question as to why, if you would explain?

Because it sort of reminds me how a British RPG character might talk, like Balthier or Ignis

It is neither impactful nor meaningful enough to be of concern beyond how it outwardly portrays itself, that being it usually comes off as an attempt to stand out.

This pretty much nails it.
but I am none too ignorant of the field and some of its details.

I love the way you talk, cat-man.

Also found this Say-Pee-Oh description which was pretty cool.

A person who likes writers is not a scribosexual, a person who likes lawyers is not a jurosexual, and a person who loudly proclaims that they only date smart people might be dangerously full of themselves, but they’re not a “sapiosexual. -Samantha Allen

Lmao. I am not entirely certain if you're being serious.

If you're a sapiosexual, that doesn't mean you can only get aroused if someone is doing something actively intelligent. You are just attracted to intelligent people.

Well I refer to my original point that outside of johns and sexpats, most people incorporate intelligence into their expectations for a partner. Intelligence is extremely broad, way past the academic. Charisma, Wit and Talent are all forms of intelligence, and you would be very hard pressed to find someone who isn't attracted to those things (along with their other requirements).

It's more like
"Wow, you're quite witty/intelligent, that's attractive. It makes you more attractive to me, despite the fact I might have thought you were only plain looking earlier, your intelligence let's me appreciate you more as a person of interest."

I mean this is very hard to unpack, because we are speculating but 'plain-looking' is one of those terms that seems to change based on who you ask. Plain can mean ordinary and blank slate like, nothing particularly striking about them but perfectly fine looking, in other words, somewhere on the average scale, which is what I think you are trying to say.

But I would argue that id a sapiosexual didn't find someone attractive 'enough' or significantly less than average they would disregard the supposed intelligence because they wouldn't be giving them a chance to demonstrate that in the first place.

My main argument is that it seems to be fairly pointless term, damn near everyone finds some sort of intelligence attractive in one way or another, and damn near nobody would only take intelligence into account while completely disregarding physicality/attitude/status etc.

If the only observable difference is that they allegedly prioritise intelligence more than non-sapios we would need a way to determine how much non-sapios value intelligence on average and where the line gets drawn.
A lot of sapiosexuals seem like the worst people to date though but that's just me being a bitch.

Just from reading the above explanations I've come to this conclusion as well.

EDIT:
I doubt a say-pee-oh sexual would give a 5'1 balding 42 year old permavirgin who smelled like doritios 'a chance to build an attraction with his super-sexy mind' because there physical expectations would turn them off before that even came into play.

It seems like what sapiosexual really means is, "If you meet my initial physical and social requirements, I'd then be interested in learning more about what you know and if its to my liking then you might get somewhere." Which actually sounds like most people to be honest.

And not to get too gross, but dont sapios have normal libidos? Like do they need a vibrator to recite Shakespeare before they use one?

Also I guess you and @Penny aren't the same person after all, don't I feel silly.
<Snipped quote by Dynamo Frokane>

I suppose this would depend on context but basically attraction to intellect. A degree of intellect is certainly mandatory when I look for a partner so I suppose I can claim to at least a latent sapiosexuallity. It doesn't matter how physically attractive or how kind a guy is, if he seems like an idiot I'm not interested.

But surely a guy would still have to be somewhat physically attractive and kind, as well as intelligent. I doubt a sapiosexual would date a GonkFace or a raging asshole even if he was a nobel prize winner.

I suppose my problem with understanding the term is that implies a specialized attraction where it could be argued that most people outside of a frequent john or a sex tourist, probably have some expectation of intelligence in a partner.

I need to get a consensus on how the term is actually used today, but I was told it means being attracted to someone's mind as apposed to anything else. Which seems very hard to quantify, and probably in most cases untrue.

underrated or overrated?
They're not rumours, it's objective fact you're a pedophile.

If you can demonstrate this 'objective fact' to the mods and you're choosing not to then you are a pedo enabler, so stop with the empty mattress girl accusations and provide some goddamn evidence.
