Well hello.
I guess I should introduce myself, huh.
I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.
I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.
I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.
I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.
"What do you call a cow with two legs?" "Lean beef."
Bonekid listened to the pirate as he stood with his crewmates, sword tightly clenched in his hand. They were given a deal, and the deal was simple. They fought to keep their goods, or they lost their goods fighting. There was clearly one option here, which was to - "I accept! You had me going there for a second!"
With an abrupt smack on his back, Feya had answered the question for the crew already. Before Bonekid could even speak his own mind, Boone shot in and agreed with Feya, sealing the deal since he was the captain. Bonekid wasn't opposed with the decision, it was what he was going to make initially. There wasn't any other option that would be sane to take. The crew had to fight, it was the only way that they'd survive this ordeal and keep their clothes (and other things).
Bonekid unsheathed his sword and hugged it tightly as he realized the severity of the situation at hand. If the Rums lost here, it was incredibly likely that the Rum Runner wouldn't be the only thing that Bonekid would be losing here. His sword was being offered on the table, and Bonekid couldn't let that be lost to these ruffians! They can't wield it properly, only he can! Out of pure anxiety, Bonekid drifted to his mother's leg as he hugged her, keeping his sword close to the two.
Caesar said something about his herbs, and it went over Bonekid's head. He was too focused on another detail. Slick was also raving about Bonekid helping him create his special brand of art, and it flew over Bonekid as well. He couldn't think about that when his sword was on the line.
He wouldn't lose. He couldn't afford it.
Wherever Bonekid's sword touched his body, the bones that once made up Bonekid began to cover up in layers of foliage and vines, acting as some sort of quasi-skin for him. Whether it was him doing it himself, nobody could tell, not even him, but he was too caught up with anxiety to notice it at the time.
@Mortarion If my input matters, you're doing great for getting into the RP Proper. Let's just hope Ursaren's stories of wisdom can convince Nicademus to join the party for sure.
you might want at least 3 guards escorting ursaren because he's quite the bear of a man if i do say so myself
(What Tibulus did while Stryker talked to everyone else.)

The abducted Skaldurm laid on the operating table, unmoving as she felt herself begin to come out of the sleep she had just been put under, her arms heavy with lag and her brain feeling rather tight. Slowly, her eyes opened, and quickly after she realized where she was, she shot back up from the table.
"GAH?!" she shouted as she looked down at her body. Stark naked, aside from the underwear she had on her despite her never remembering that she had put it on. She glanced around the room for a few seconds, her vision incredibly blurry as she began to adjust to her surroundings. Everything seemed unfamiliar to her initially, but the atmosphere began to set in as she turned on the table to face the nearby robot. A mechanical churn sounded as the robot creaked to life.
> Careful. You just got out of surgery. It's voice was automatic, but strangely friendly. The girl looked around some more as her vision slowly came back to her even more, the room finally being recognizable. It was the Medical Bay of the Revenant.
She ran her hands on her body, simply to feel the skin, before the girl attempted to stand up on her feet. Naturally, her body shivered as she felt her feet touch the cold metal floor, but she was more or less expectant of it, like this was supposed to happen. Stepping forward with a short stride, the girl walked up to the nearby mirror and glanced at herself, hands planted firmly on the sink.
That was her, wasn't it? Red hair, tanned skin, slender build. A hand slowly lifted to feel her face, pushing her parted bangs out of the way to properly feel the smooth skin behind it.
It looked like her, but it wasn't her.
She looked around the room a bit more as she noticed the strange skeleton on the second operating table, his skull carved into and a brain placed beside it, suspended in a jar of transparent green liquid. A folder with the words "Open and Read" in it was placed under his foot. The girl figured it was for her, so she stepped over to it and opened it's contents.
Picking up the polaroid picture of a family and the letter, the girl began to read it.
Hey me, it's you.
Well, it was you. What's probably in front of us now is your old body, likely with wilting mushrooms inside the ribcage if I had to guess. Here's a quick rundown of shit to get your memory back in case you forgot.
Your name was Jackson Rhodes, then changed to Tibulus Sepitan after you died for the first time. Whatever name we choose now is entirely up to us again, though knowing me, we'll probably just go with an unoriginal name since we took so long to think of the pun for my last name.
You're aboard the Revenant, working with ex-criminals to get a lifetime of money and our family back. The latter is just as likely now as it was in the past, but that's something I'd rather not let anyone see, so we're not gonna write that down here on this paper.
Your pilot skills are fucking legendary. Don't let anyone tell me that we aren't the best fucking pilot you know.
Hopefully this was enough to jog your memory enough. If not, maybe Stryker can help you. Our communicator is over on the table opposite of you, use it and get him in here regardless if we remember everything. He should probably see us now.
That's all. Congratulations on probably being the first medically resurrected human this side of the known universe.
- Sepitan.
Looking over to the table, the girl noticed a gray jumpsuit with an electronic communicator on it. Additionally, the girl saw numerous different items on the table, probably hers if he had to guess. She walked over to the table and picked up the communicator, looking over at the door before speaking into it. "Stryker to Med Bay, you'll want to see this."
The girl stepped back to the mirror and sink and simply stared at herself in it. "Welcome back, me. I guess we're a girl now. This means we've been three different people all within one life. Kinda crazy, isn't it?"
"Oof, this place is gettin' bloody saucy," Carnation commented as she landed in the sofa behind her. She pulled herself all the way on it before watching the situation unfold in front of her and the others. Everyone was waving fingers towards another person in the room, and honestly Carnation was surprised nobody commented on her yet. That being said, she didn't know who the hell Lady Eve was, nor did she know anyone else in this room.
Reviewing the details, Carnation stood up from her seat as she walked over to Alonzo. For the most part, he seemed like the one who was the most guilty in this case. For a moment, she considered that the guy in the corner drinking would be the one, but she quickly ruled him out. It's doubtful that this Lady Eve would associate herself with a drunkard proudly. Erin was another questionable suspect, but she was gonna give Carnation clothes, so she couldn't accuse her. Alonzo, though, had said something to Lady Eve that seemed incredibly casual for the situation. Asking her so calmly "Shall I kill them?" was something incredibly incriminating given the situation.
That being said, Carnation was against just accusing the apparently-psychic man like that. No, she had to be crafty with it and point out the flaws in his plan. Which was what she intended to do. "Alonzo, if y'can read minds and memories, what's my full name and where are my parents?" Only Carnation knew these answers at the time, so Alonzo would have to guess pretty luckily. Of course, he might actually know, but that begs the question of 'how the hell does he know?'.
Ursaren sat idly by as he watched the group converse with the newly-arrived knight, a slight smile on his face and his weapons sheathed. He listened to the speaking of Nicademus and the reasoning of his group. The argument to help fix the defenses of the town was quite a good idea in Ursaren's mind, and it'd no doubt help get the group into the town without much argument. That being said with the arrival of the newest member of the plucky party, Aeryn, it was less of a possibility to get inside without any caution by the townsfolk.
At first, Ursaren had nothing to say. The old man could tell stories and stories for days, but he wasn't experienced with getting people into towns. He'd imagine that the other people he had joined could get them in without his need, but that wasn't exactly going to plan. Finally, the old man spoke to the men keeping the party from going in, seeing that his word might actually help.
"If the word of an old man means anything, I'd be more than happy to repair the walls of your fine town. In addition," Ursaren continued, stepping forward with a gesture of compliance. "I'd imagine that you men must have some people in need of medicinal aid, what with this being such a dangerous part of the world to be in. I would be ecstatic to be someone who can help heal those that need it. I know quite the fair bit of magic and alchemy, and my friends can vouch for me here."
The old man put his arms to his sides as he stared at Nicademus, not showing any aggression or any hostility. "We all simply need a place to stay for a few days. We've been traveling for the better part of a few days, and it's been quite some time since I've personally seen a bed, though I can't say much for these folks."
"I-I can walk on my own! I can't do it well, but I can do it!" Magdalene stammers as she breaks free from you, walking a grand total of four steps before leaning against the nearby wall. "See?! Four steps! I can do it!" She giggles slightly as she gets back to your side.
You step outside to see everyone from Brock to Eve there in front of you, even the newly-met Abigail accompanying them. In the middle of the group rests Jen's tent with your Goblin facing it. "What's going on?" You hear Magdalene whisper to you.
In the very far distance, you see a built but transparent man facing the group, a smile on his face, before he turns away and vanishes completely.
After everything was settled with Runch's crew and everyone was back on their ships, Bonekid pulled Dirk aside for a minute to reprimand him. Now, Bonekid had liked Dirk. He saw him as an effective cousin (despite his mom pushing for him to see the two as brothers), and they kind of were in the figurative sense. That still didn't mean that Bonekid had to turn a blind eye to the deeds of Dirk. This wasn't a first offense, either, as Bonekid had remembered when the crew met Caesar that Dirk threw Bonekid at the furry human in a very similar fashion, but that was a good few weeks ago.
The first mate informed Mister Messir that this would be the second strike on Bonekid's new strike system. If he got a third, he'd be sleeping in a barrel in Slick's room for a few nights. That's the best punishment Bonekid could've thought up at the current moment, he was still on the fence about being near Slick. All he imagined would happen is a few sleepless nights of insane warmth. Might actually be good training exercise, to be honest. Feya should probably learn about that idea.
For the remainder of the trip to the next island from Reverse Mountain, Bonekid had stayed with his mom. She took a bit of a beating from the voyage up the mountain, so Bonekid had been incredibly cautious and protective of her. The only person who could actually see her on the voyage while Bonekid was around her was Boone, and even then it was only because of superiority and rank. Now that a few hours of napping had passed, Bonekid finally stepped outside her room and took a long look at the horizon.
He noticed the mighty Jolly Roger in front of the ship before he noticed the island. The cannon with massive arms did not mean anything pleasant, that's for sure. Drawing the Shroomblade, Bonekid stepped forward on the deck as he glanced around. "I don't like the look of this, bud. Be on guard," the skeleton child said to his sword. Of course, the blade didn't respond, but a soft chuckle was prompted out of Bonekid.
