So they agree to go to Mars and "look for evidence of life" under the terraformed layer.

And maybe they find he wasn't so crazy after all. Might be worth making some "Mars natural animals" coming up from their deep sleep... heh.

Well, let’s look into how we set it up. I used terraforming based on nanomachines that rejuvenated Mars in both atmosphere and the planet’s ecology. So perhaps all of those ruins on Mars are buried or simply covered by moss and fungus rather than red dust and sand. I imagine there is a way for us to keep the mysteries of Mars intact so we can explore that aspect of the RP.

Plus the whole idea of this RP is helping people do what they want to do and tell the stories they want to tell. A little bit of the inspiration was reading Byrd Man and Morden Man’s 1x1 (which I do often) and going “What if I open that up on a grander scale and put it on Mars in the future?” There were other influences and factors such as my dream, but yeah, now I’m rambling.

@GowiAre we allowed to have more than one character? Because I was thinking about making a husband/wife team (Or a Wife/Wife team).

Also, Would archaeology be funded again like it was back in the 1800s? Because I think that would be very interesting and totally fitting in the setting of "Wild West".

You can create as many POV characters as you see fit, any NPC's you design you have free reign to do with as well.

Honestly, I'm not sure how Mars archaeology would work given we terraformed the planet. So you are pretty much given absolute freedom in that regard.

Standing at five foot five, Tanya seems not to stand out much in terms of her height; a fact she uses to her advantage out on the field. Tanya takes after her mother with her natural dirty blonde hair, a fact that while not extinct is not as common as it once was around the time of the twentieth century though she has been known to dye it when it suits her. Her hair is long but kept often in a simple ponytail. Physically speaking, Tanya is well-toned and kept; a fact that is partly due to the physicality required in her line of work. Tanya’s clothing choices vary from various synthetic jackets and cloth, with her official police uniform only utilized when necessary due to the ambiguity of just going with civilian attire with a badge on hand.

I expect most characters to be descended from the OG colonists, yeah. It has been like 102 years since the first ones arrived (and they were probably like 30-40).

Mars was generally desolate, though I'm sure we have archaeologists and watnot trying to discover the history of Mars following the terraforming. Something could happen in RP but as far as we know we are alone in our solar system.
