Having been conditioned to be a soldier since she was ten years old and serving on the battlefield since she was eleven, the woman known as Stein Kalfox exhibits a cold but determined presence. Youthful in appearance, most people make presumptions upon Stein’s abilities especially considering she is not tall (5’6”) nor overtly muscular due to her deceptively unassuming physique. Though what Stein makes up for in appearance she quantifies in atmospheric expressions that could be described as “fire and ice” due to the combination of scowls, grimaces, narrowed brows and cold emotionless eyes. In form of her conventional appearance Stein holds bright blonde hair with pale blue irises; her hair done up in generally a disheveled manner depending on its current length. She has had short hair that runs slightly past her ears, but for some reason when her hair gets long she tends to keep it there in terms of preference; a long hair she draws into rough disheveled ponytails, or pigtails. Whether she considers it a tactic to keep up the façade that she’s a meek little girl or enjoys the look of things is unknown to anyone but Stein.

Anastasia has had a long and chequered life since the earliest days of her life as an emotional prospective prodigy to her teenage years as a stoic mecha pilot. Her comrades, rivals, and peers have assigned her nicknames and constructed presumptions about her since they’ve known her; a fact that has earned her nicknames like Stein, Little Dragon, and Kalfox.EXE. But who is she beyond the rumors and gossip really?

Raised to be the perfect soldier for the Volkov Security Systems (VSS) since she was ten years old, Anastasia has always had one interest and one interest alone— the corporation. As such Stein has never had a defined moral compass of her own to speak of and has always took a pragmatic approach to such ideologies. The idea of “good” and “evil” never really becoming a tangible concept for the young girl, though she was far from ignorant to the concept of ethics albeit warped ones due to her restricted and closed off childhood she held. After having been conditioned several times over to rid her of her “feminine” emotions and weak traits by corporate instructors, Anastasia was drilled in countless lessons that planned to make her content with not only the actions of the company but her new role in society. However, it wasn’t until she broke down after an incident that confirmed her first kill in her NC that brought her to throw away what was Anastasia Kalfox and embrace a new person entirely. Her field commander of her squadron, Roxa Vox, told her that she couldn’t give in to her emotions and feelings about what words were said to her; that she needed to be strong like stone. This would be the saying that gave her the nickname “Stein” and one she’d replaced her given name with.

Though removing her emotions with pragmatic stoicism would be a challenge that even by her adult years she couldn’t completely erase. While her cold demeanor was represented through coldness, apathy towards others, pragmatic ideologies, and icy honesty there lies the fire within her as well that she cannot seem to control nor seems to want to. When she is particularly annoyed, offended, or confused she gets emotionally enraptured by anger, hate, pride, and fear. It is true that Anastasia is not entirely without her anxieties and issues; though some say it proves the belief that the best NC pilots are the ones who are psychologically damaged from the onset. But whilst that theory suggests they are good potential soldiers, if it has some truth to it there lies the issue of the people themselves.

Despite being aggressive, stoic, and generally hard to read or understand Anastasia isn’t without a nature of friendliness and kindness. Due to her particular upbringing she identifies most with other people younger or relatively so to her age and as such has no issue treating them no different than she would treat any other adult-aged individual. However her neutral tones may make it difficult for more sympathetic and emotionally aligned individuals to warm up to her. But Anastasia is not abhorrent toward ties of friendship, attraction, or even love; though it is clear that such emotions would take a long time to show in a way that seems sensible. Perhaps the answers to Anastasia Kalfox lie not only on her training as a soldier but also in her early childhood?

[ ⛨ ] S K I L L S E T
Soldier: Outside of being a highly skilled pilot with a high synchronization score, Stein is a soldier outside of the mecha just the same. She’s proficient in small arms weapons such as handguns and low-powered submachine guns, skilled in close quarters combat with her hands due to being trained in various martial arts, and is decent with a combat knife.

Reactive Tactics: Stein is a woman of analysis, perception, and instincts— as such her skills as a soldier and fighter outside of her NC are accented and enhanced by such reactive abilities. She’s quick, dexterous, fast and seems to be able to react to potential altercations quick and efficiently.

Mechanic: Stein is also an average NC technician due to the responsibility being forced on her upon training. She can maintain, repair, and comprehend facets of her mech though it is likely she requires a specialist when it comes down to finer notions of technical work such as upgrades, reinforcements, and maintenance she could have overlooked.

Perfectionist: A common saying uttered by Stein is “Do better with each attempt. Push yourself so there can be no possible margin of error to the point of logical limitation”. It is in this that Stein constantly strives to push herself physically beyond her limits with each exercise, trial, or contest. If she completed a run in ten minutes and nine seconds she will want to do her next run in nine minutes and eight seconds. This is obviously due to the dangers of failure in her profession but even for a corporate soldier it is said that Stein takes things too far.

Artistic Expression: Stein’s one non-military related talent would be her expression in her art through digital painting. Her style is morbid, abstract, and a reflection of what makes her cope. She keeps such expressionism private however, not seeing the value in people seeing something so fickle and irrelevant.

Anastasia Kalfox was born in the Megacity of Seattle in 2656 to one of the minor executives of the region by the name of Ingram Kalfox with an unknown, undocumented mother that was believed to be a Volkov pilot that was killed in action in the months following.

In the late weeks during the December of 2677 it seemed that things began to take a turn for the girl who had become known as Stein Kalfox. The Seattle branch of The Volkov Corporation had recently taken measures to weed out aspects of their military budget that they found problematic, or so was the “official” story— though many skeptics and critics of Volkov believe it had more to do with the investigation of Ingram Kalfox and his actions that caused him to disappear without a trace. The word was prior to his disappearance he was to have his entire career put on trial after “suspicious circumstances” came out that he was trading company secrets for profit. As a byproduct this resulted in the removal of Stein’s reputation, resources, status, and camaraderie within the company; a company that would hastily abandon her during the middle of a mission in the Alaskan territories which resulted in severe damages to Stein’s NC. Some say Stein was left for dead. Others say it was planned all along.

But, whichever the case may have been the result was the same with Stein being on the verge of being decimated by fringe raiders who were looking to eliminate her and reap the rewards. However, this was not to be. With the arrival of Sophia Torres, the operations commander of the independent faction known as New Anchorage, it would feel like Stein was saved from a death wish but it came with a favor. Stein would work for Sophia to pay off her “debt” as a show of gratitude. Thankful for the help and believing she had little other options with a half-blown NC she joined New Anchorage and carried on as a mecha pilot under Torres. However, it would be concerning when Sophia Torres disappeared without a trace thus leaving New Anchorage without a military leader. The ruling council of the settlement hired newly independent commander Michael Graham to replace her, though the reasons why are obscure at best. Regardless, Stein continued to operate as Graham brought in more pilots in a recruitment drive in the following weeks.

Passing Commander Graham’s ultimatum at the top of all of the pilots served Stein her first commendation at New Anchorage. It is now March 1st of 2678 and Stein eagerly awaits her first field assignment with her new squad.

[ ⛨ ] T H E M E C H

The Little Dragon is a medium sized mecha that was designed by The Volkov Corporation some years ago. Painted in a metallic sheen of crimson with black undertones, the Little Dragon flies the colors of its former corporation though the branding of the company logo has since been removed as well as the paint faded due to its constant battles it has been forced to endure in harsh environments. But despite this wear and tear the Little Dragon is not weak nor is it worse off for it— it has survived two lifetimes of pilots before Stein and will continue to do so when it moves hands in the future.

In addition to its standard antimatter power core and cockpit, the mecha is fitted with conventional and experimental equipment— though it doesn’t hold more than two modes within its function as a NC; thus the standard module and the advanced module that allows it to work at a hyper reactive level are the only ones installed and available to a pilot. Aforementioned armaments include:

  • On-Hand Weapon: Assault Rifle.

  • Arm (R): An experimental SHCHIT-01 generator that creates a personal defense force-field made of kinetic energy to shield the NC from oncoming attacks at the cost of high thermal heat buildup.

  • Arm (L): A dynamic long capsule containing several charges of explosives that can be launched from a compartment in the arm, good for entering combat zones as well as breaching other NC’s.

  • Shoulder (R+L): Several mounted anti-armor machine gun armaments that are based off the MEK-50 machine gun system that was designed with anti-tank purposes in mind. Alternative to contemporary uses of railgun’s, the MEK-50 armaments use flak rounds and are faster and more reliable in certain situations.

[ 🔨 ] O V E R V I E W
Formerly known as Smith’s Rest, New Anchorage was technically established in 2602 CE by a group of people trying to escape the grasp of the giant corporations. Originally the settlement got by through selling useless scrap in Alaskan ruins to neighboring corporations for food rations and economic utilities. However, the dangers of being “independent” became apparent throughout the years as criminal factions saw Smith’s Rest as an easy target. With few worthwhile NC’s to their name Smith’s Rest would barely survive throughout the years. However, luck would come their way when they began to uncover more substantial NC’s in their scavenging runs as well as odd friendships with major corporations like Volkov and Fairbanks.

Renamed New Anchorage in 2677, the settlement went from an obscure dot on the map to a small aspiring independent company led by a small group of people organized with the settlement’s interests at heart. However, in only a few months of time New Anchorage found itself struggling even as it took any contract sent in its direction. Their operations commander, Sophia, abandons New Anchorage in a fit of emotion and sends the operation into jeopardy which results in individuals scattering until the settlement hires a man of experience by the name of Michael Graham. Fortunately, Graham has taken the reins of New Anchorage eagerly and with cohesive military organization.

The word went out that Graham was looking to test anyone for NC abilities in addition to looking to hire those who already have a NC of their own; swearing he would turn New Anchorage into a successful operation that would rival the big corporations. However, things do not always go exactly to plan and it was clear that Graham has made his share of enemies. As he begins to allocate resources to prepare his pilots for their first operational mission, shadows lurk in the darkness with dangerous machinations that could risk everything he hopes to create...



If none of that makes sense to what I want/am looking for… alright, here’s the short version of it.

Players will create a NC pilot who joined New Anchorage under Commander Michael Graham. Your contract initiated upon the passing of a test that was a week ago that relied on physical conditioning, mental toughness, and comprehensive skill – but for veteran pilots it was easy. So with the RP taking place around March 1st of 2677 CE, you would’ve been coordinated into New Anchorage about a month ago.

Richard Fairbanks was quoting English poet William Blake when he showed his true colors to the then President of the United States of America. That statement, in context, that can be seen as the precursor to the world that Fairbanks and many others like him forged in their image; the rise of new capitalism— the corporatocracy, and the fall of old capitalism.

It has been five hundred years since the planet Earth was struck down by the horrors of a nuclear holocaust, though fortunately for the human race and the planet; both persevered despite the odds. One of the main reasons behind the survival of humanity was the ingenuity of innovators within the nuclear security field, such as Richard Fairbanks, Mikhail Volkov, Yukiya Akahoshi, and many others. Inspired by the archaic novelties of the fallout shelters of the 20th century, these shrewd businesspeople laid down the ground work for massive underground citadels that become known as “Burrows”— the salvation of humankind. But this salvation to those who didn’t wish to be swallowed by the impending nuclear holocaust came at a price; for as the saying goes, to trust a corporation is a fool’s gambit— and a fool’s price is what humanity received.

In the two hundred years that humanity was trapped underneath the shadow of the corporations there was much change and a new society began to take shape underground as what was left on the surface was destroyed by nuclear fire. Politicians who had fled into safety found themselves powerless before they became targets of corporate agents who decided that the “chess pieces” of the old world had to be retired… permanently. The old regime was deemed “out of date” and not one citizen flinched as prominent people they knew before the war disappeared. As time continued to carry on the citizens who obeyed became the new upper class and received the food rations and medical treatment that came with such loyalty. It seemed that no matter if it was Kings or Presidents or a Board of Directors— the pecking order was more or less the same.

Time carried on until the doors to the surface opened once again in 2340 CE.

The corporations that had started as nuclear security firms expanded, their citizens resettled the land of their ancestors, and began for a time to look optimistic towards life on the once again livable surface. For a time there was peace on Earth— but old habits die hard. Within fifty years of humanity returning to the surface corporations began to recover old world technology from the ruins; one incredible recovery being that of the 22nd century’s bipedal mecha, a humanoid machine controlled directly by the mind. Thus a weapon of mass destruction became the golden standard: The Neural Combatant. This discovery, unsurprisingly led to the return of war and revolt. Corporations fought one-another as they forced more and more research into Neural Combatants and thus the arms race of the last two centuries was defined.

It is now 2677, and the situation has only gotten exponentially worse. The five major corporations continuously experiment, wage war on smaller corporations, deal with criminal factions ruthlessly, and expand their territorial reach.

[ 🔨 ] P L A N E T A R Y H I S T O R Y
As people became more burdened and suffocated on their Earth in the twenty-first century, they once again looked to the stars for answers and hope. However, many people of the time couldn’t imagine what their efforts to save their planet would lead to in the succeeding centuries. Whilst climate change, depleting oil reserves, and tension in the Middle East served as the principal issues that led science along NASA began an initiative that would be called the Terra Nova Program; a program devised in several stages beginning with financial funding from national governments to research technology to reduce the timeline of terraforming Mars with the hopes that a final resort into interstellar colonization and expansion would be fulfilled. This dream would be one not achieved in the creators of the program’s lifetime.

By the mid-to-late twenty-first century developments in new power sources, warfare, eco-technologies, and other technologies. This leads to the development of early nanomachines, experimental power sources, and the tanks evolution into mechs. It would take years for research to make these inventions cost efficient and cohesive but said developments would lead to NASA’s utilization of new power sources to develop new space shuttle designs and expand on nanomachines for their own benefit in their terraforming efforts. These would all come to fruition in the twenty-second century.

Climate change is the biggest concern of the early twenty-second century, but is shelved when conflicts in the Middle East, Eastern Asia, and India occur. As Iraq is swallowed by Israel and Iran after ISIL-affiliated control shifts, North Korea collapses after facing an alliance between Japan and the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation’s continued expansion, and conflict between Pakistan and India reaches a boiling point. As new lines in the sand are drawn the United Nations convenes to ensure a third World War is not on the horizon. Things remain tense and while there is no declaration of war many journalists decree that the world is now living in a second Cold War. Fortunately, this climate causes more nations to invest into technological research; research that leads NASA into developing a technological effort with utilization by an experimental antimatter power generator and state-of-the-art nanomachines.

Due to the fear of a nuclear holocaust in this second Cold War several business professionals create nuclear security firms to profit off humanity’s fears. But unlike the shelters of the 1950s the projects are far more ambitious as Mikhail Volkov develops an underground citadel secure from nuclear threat nicknamed by the public slang as a “burrow”. Other individuals such as Richard Fairbanks, Yukiya Akahoshi, Richard Caine, Josef Ophir, and Waclaw Dokowski followed in Mikhail’s influence— most of them being a part of Volkov Industries in their early careers. This brings the rise of the Nuclear Security Business Firm; a business that would see effective when the second Cold War turns into the third World War and in its finality on the year of 2177 results in the nuclear holocaust that humanity had feared would come true since the twentieth century.

As history will tell you, “Burrows” is the slang for the massive underground cities that served as fallout shelters between 2177 and 2340. Since 2340, these massive citadels have grown upward as the ruins of the old world cities were cleared for the new structures of the neo-metropolises of the modern day. These mega-cities are the center of “society” and are seen as these walled off utopia’s; though those who are born with little often claim they are dystopias instead. Clean energy has made industrial infrastructure minimalized as well as allowing humanity not to repeat the same ecological missteps as their ancestors. The central power source of the day is antimatter and plasma. Nuclear development is a taboo internationally and every corporation agrees that nuclear-oriented technologies are archaic and dangerous so it is fervently outlawed.

Smaller neo-metropolises exist, but for the most part are not as plentiful as the density of the world in the twenty-first century. Old world ruins are used as “scrap factories” and are refurbished into clean metal alloys for tram railways, transits vehicles, weapons, and city upkeep (though nanomachines keeps the need for repair unnecessary in the mega-cities). The further from the corporations one goes the smaller the settlements become and the more prone to independent effects they become. Smugglers, Raiders, Gangs, Slavers, Warlords, and Profiteers are sprawled across these sparsely populated (by comparison) areas— though the corporations who claim the territory still tax them harshly. These criminal factions are rarely fought by the major corporations due to three factors— the first is corporations will only act against them if they view the asset as essential or worthwhile, the second is if these criminals pay “royalties” to operate to the corporations, or third is if the victims have contributed to corporate tax in their area.

Neural Combatants are large heavily armed and armored mechanized machines that take the basic principles of 20th century armored tanks, 21st century advanced aircraft, and generalized infantry designations to create effectively the ultimate form of war machine. Neural Combatants are controlled primarily by the thoughts of the user through the use of a network unique to mecha called the Neural Net; effectively a process of bring the process of a machine together with the complexity of the human mind to synchronize operations effectively and cohesively. The Neural Net is accessed through the installment of a Neural Plug that is usually implanted into the human body’s upper spine; a surgery that is as dangerous as it sounds. However with the complete synchronization of man and machine being an advantage on the battlefield there are few who don’t qualify the outcome more valuable than any substantial risks or long term psychological or physical health problems.

Although very complex machines when put together, NC’s can be retrofitted, customized, and modified to any individual’s preference or particular skillset. This is due to the fact that the neural core is represented solely within the core centerpiece that is often referred to as the cockpit— it is the location of the pilot’s body while they are within partial animation and the integrity of the entire war machine. It is also the storage hub for the central power sources; an antimatter generator that houses power for the NC’s functions. However, despite being customizable there are health risks to making major changes or repairs to a NC due to the effect of a sort of shock to the nervous system that causes huge surges of pain to readapt to the newly realignments. The neural plug “expecting” a different physical makeup is the equivalent of having extreme limb replacement surgery; the body reacts accordingly. Veterans of drastic changes may find themselves used to the pain as their brain and body finds itself used to various modifications.

Neural Combatants are made out of the standard associated parts although the core is the only true piece of a NC with various forms of legs, armaments, armor, extranormal extensions, sensory equipment, storage shells, and generators serving as additions that vary on aesthetic or purpose.

General Technology
The development of energy sources not dependent on fossil fuels such as the cheaper thermal fusion and more expensive antimatter was one of the key significant changes in world technology— innovations that would in several centuries of time would collapse natural coal, oil, and gas industries. But energy development was not the only technology that moved humanity’s scientific ambitions closer to reality; as evident from the development of nanotechnology, synthetic material, bio-cloning, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

The world that mirrors 20th to 21st century science fiction fantasies is now real in the 27th century. Nanotechnologies have made most disabilities and medical ailments irrelevant, robotics has developed towering bipedal tanks, synthetic metal alloys are created through fabrication processes that aren’t harmful to the environment, bio-cloning prevents full extinction of various animal species and as well as prevents mass hunger, and AI has led to cohesive drones that can serve a multitude of purpose. The “nuclear age” is dead. The nanotech age is here.

The Corporations
As you may infer by the map, in this continuity there are six major corporations— Volkov, Red Star, Denver-Vegas, Fairbanks, Paragon, and Magen. Each of these corporations were staple nuclear security firms in the 22nd century. More info to come.

Currency
Since 2552, the old way of handling money has changed due to the international creation of a new unit that all of the corporations would agree to be the new standard. This unit is called the Universal Monetary Credit, or UMC. Comparable to their ancient counterpart in the credit card, this chit-based currency has hard information on an individual’s financial account and can be stored in a utility belt or small slot on ones datatool. It is about the size of a 21st century equivelant in a “USB drive”.

Enviroment
The world has been repaired… sporadically, but it free of radiation for the most part. The most that remains of scarred ruins are the effects of impact of the nuclear weapons which has left major ruins and scarred landmasses. Many of those closer to the megacities have been built over or turned into scrap factories— but there are many ruins still to scavenge the further out they exist from the aforementioned “new” civilization.

Fauna
While the effects of nuclear radiation have been syphoned out and the environment has mostly survived by building on the ruins of the old world, the non-cloned wildlife have been mutated in a variety of ways that depend on the creature— some animals have found themselves with metal-hard skin, new toxic defense mechanisms, have increased in size, and so forth. Many of these creatures that have been noted as “irradiated or genetically modified animal” or IGMA’s. Some independent factions serve to protect settlements against their presence for a fee.

Networking
The Hypernet was established sometime after humanity’s resurgence in the 24th century— taking the shambles of what remained of the old structure, the Hypernet is available to all through an uplink that syncs with personal computers, information hubs, and datatool units. With major sectors of the Hypernet watched over by corporate internet administrators the web is hardly as free as the technological ancestor in the internet.

Personal Computers & The Datatool
Computers are still in a form most recognizable to their ancient ancestors— laptops, server towers, desktop computers, and mainframe computers are still very much a product of everyday life. However, some of the more mobile variations (cellphone, PDA, tablet) have been replaced by what is called universally as a datatool. Within its cohesive design as a wrist attachment; the datatool holds databanks of utility such as being a databank hub that allows access to personal files stored such as dossiers, maps, communication frequencies, compressed sound files, personal notes, and much more. For those not glued to their main computer, the datatool is an all-in-one device that every person on the planet owns.

Raider Culture
The further you get from the megacities, the more likely you will find abrasive opportunists who profiteer on slavery, murder, theft, and misery— some individuals take arms against them, but oftentimes these raider factions seem to be in the pocket of corporations (albeit unknown to the general public) when settlements have something they want to bully or steal rather than open trade channels for. But these factions have been getting more unruly in the last seventy or so years…

Transportation
The ancestors of the modern transportation vehicle seem archaic in comparison to the standard that exists in its’ current form. A combination of traditional trams and trains has evolved into several variations that are fast, efficient, and cohesive in their delivery of cargo and passenger alike. The universal railway runs between major settlements and megacities allowing for cohesive travel regionally— especially with the consistence of flyzones being reserved for military activity due to conflicts that have made residential travel by air non-existent. The chance of you arriving in a location is by boat or surface vehicle.

Virtual Simulation
Although unique only to those with neural plugs embedded in their nervous system and spine, the development of vivid simulation pods and rooms has been going strong for two centuries. Whilst personal VR is available through some stimulation devices they are as hardly as evocative as those offered to individuals with neural plugs. This is due to the synchronization between program and the human brain that allows for simulations that feel far more real than the alternative.

Weapons Technology
Ballistic rounds have not gone the way of the dinosaurs, but small range variants are certainly on their way with the advent of thermal energy, plasma, and ion energies that have been weaponized in small arms just like they have in larger (NC) variations. Using energy batteries as “clips” it has made ballistic handguns and carbines nearly pointless for infantry-level scuffles and the majority of gunsmiths have abandoned old concepts in lieu for more “modern” capacity.

2657 CE – The Elysian War is settled with terms unknown to the general public.

2668 CE – Fairbanks and Denver-Vegas settle a territorial dispute to prevent full-scale war as both corporations find it unprofitable for their current projections.

2676 CE – Smith’s Rest is renamed New Anchorage.

01.2677 CE – Michael Graham is hired by New Anchorage.

01.2677 CE – Michael Graham begins a recruitment drive for prospective pilots.

02.2677 CE – Graham sets up an examination he calls his ultimatum at the end of the month for all pilots.

Honestly, I feel like it is a bit superfluous going over an established rules section; but I guess this might be a bit necessary to go over for the RP’s sake. Let me be clear, I believe I am a fair GM albeit a bit of one with a serious disposition— but if you respect me and your fellow players, I respect you. Don’t… and well, I turn into a shark. Let’s not turn this into a shark movie, we have enough of those don’cha think? With that said, here are some brief guidelines to note so we can have a fun time and not a shitty time.

  • Every single person should be aware that we will respect and obey RPG’s rules. Mahz and his staff are really reasonable and have designed a site where we can have fun without too much hassle. So let’s not contradict those guidelines and rules.

  • The GM staff should be respected at all times, but not just them. Your fellow players should not be belittled, condescended, or felt unwelcome. Even if you are frustrated you should make sure you are not antagonizing your peers. This is not to say you have to “handhold” them or “sugarcoat” yourself— but you need to follow rules of civility. There is no question about that.

  • Don’t powergame! Since this is an action RP for a lot of its content you should know what is and isn’t okay. We’ve all been (assumingly) RPing for a long time but we know what meta-gaming, power-playing, god-modding, and the other variations of the “don’ts” of RPing are. Don’t do them or I will have the ghost of LHG summoned to eat your mech or I’ll have you get shot. Whichever is easier for me.

  • This is a collaborative RP! But we shouldn’t focus on collabing every other day on unfair schedules. Not everyone is from the eastern side of the United States— I want potential players to feel like they are involved as well as try to keep a good rhythm going for the story. This means I will try not to time-skip or scene shift unless it is the right time.

  • Character applications will be posted in the OOC, Accepted applications will be posted in the Characters tab. Returning players should adapt their CS to the “new” format with some quick edits as well as edit in recent events to their backstory, but will still be treated on equal terms as new players; as such means I will review your CS!— such things could be bullet-pointed or written long form if desired. If you have any questions please let me know.

  • Players who drop should not be surprised to see their characters become brief NPC’s for a time. I will find a way to write them out, but if you quit in the middle of a firefight there will be consequences to that. This is not be taking over your characters but keeping consistency of the RP cohesive and not allowing a “dead stop”.

  • It is the PLAYER's RESPONSIBILITY to keep up with the IC. It is not the GM's or others to mention, ping, or otherwise inform you that you should be posting.

Looking good, only a few things which I will address—

Is Prometheus a bastard? You mention how he was born to a noblewoman named Illyana Greycastle? That would be quite the juicy amount of information for those who play the game at the Conclave if I’m reading that correctly.

You still mention magical libraries in his kingdom, when the only libraries are in Forlonia and The Conclave currently.

Much like early medieval history in our world, smallfolk (non-nobles) do not have surnames at this point in time. So it’d just be Kara.

But yeah, cover those edits (as well as the spacing that I edited in the above and transfer ‘em over.

I've technically finished my CS, though I am awaiting Cupertino's judgement on the childhood section. If there's anything Cupertino wants changed on it I'll edit it first.

Olthonis forms a union with their neighbors in the desert as conflicts on every front seem out to destroy them together or alone— the threats being that of a Great (Orc) Khan rising up in the desert, a pirate fleet led by the Kraken (pirate admiral) on the eastern coastline, and a great wyrm (giant sand worm) descending from the sands. Calling their union “The Three Sands” they hope to defend themselves in the present and in the future from such realities.

Surprised to see no mention of it having an effect on your character's childhood considering it was only seven years ago. I mean she would've been eight years old, but that's old enough for it to have an effect. I think Faeron would've had more problems with the Kraken since they are mostly a coastal nation.
