Gushing O'-Well

Brutrumukk easily navigates the raft through the waters and closer to the little patch of land that crests above the high tide. They are able to dock the raft there, and walk over to the well. The well is ten feet tall and five feet in diameter. There, the party can feel water droplets fall upon them from the geyser shooting up from the well. The geyser reaches 30 feet into the air before raining upon the party and the area.

Passive Perception of 13 and higher

You see at the top of this geyser are four baubles, two of them glinting in the twilight. These baubles are a silver hand mirror with a nymph-shaped handle, a piece of orange parchment folded to look like a knight astride a unicorn, a wooden spoon with a hole in the center, and a silvered pinecone.

New Players

Both Satyr and Halfling weren't in Prismeer for very long...at least it doesn't feel long. At some point between coming to this swamp and now, the both of you ran into each other and decided it would be prudent to travel together. Out of the both of you, the Satyr Knight, Feras Mossbeard, can feel that his lost item is here! Somewhere in these swamps! The feeling is an unceasing nagging that won't go away until he finds it.

Of course, being fey, he knows that's the metaphysical balance trying to correct itself and help him in doing so.

Fortunately or Unfortunately, the Halfling, Halander, does not have that same nagging feeling in these swamps.

As the both of you traverse through the swamp, trying to find civilization or to your lost things, you do finally find something...

Or rather, someone...

Wading or swimming through this sudden high tide, you see the small patch of land with the well, and you see a group of five with a raft move to investigate it. This group of five consists of two goblinoids, an elf, a half-elf, and a human. Peculiarly, they also have a Giant Snail with them.

...What do you do?

The swamps are now at High Tide!

Depth. The water's depth is 5 feet. Creatures that don't have a swimming speed move at half speed through the water.
Visibility. Visibility underwater is 10 feet.

I don’t know what’s funnier: Zavakri feeling comfortable enough around the scary bugbear man to tell him to “be a dear”, or the fact Brutrumukk took that literally.

Also, Jub is currently thinking “How does this man know what ‘past tense’ means, but doesn’t know that ‘be a dear’ is not actually an order to turn yourself into a cloven-hoofed animal?”
