She was not sure what to make of Francesca. She was not in the initial battle, and the Wooded One could only hope that the human girl is capable of protecting herself. It's sink or swim out here in the wilds.

Then the website I was looking at must have been wrong, because it listed those as universal between all genasi. This is why I asked instead of relying on unreliable internet sources.

I recommend using 5e tools for looking up D&D 5e material for anything from books you don't have yet.

MMotM also gives Genasi the ability to hold their breath indefinitely, cast shocking grasp, and be resistant to lightning damage.

Seems a bit overloaded to me, to be honest. For the sake of balance I don't think I need all of those features.

There are four types of Genasi: Air Genasi, Earth Genasi, Fire Genasi, and Water Genasi.

They don't switch elements. You would be stuck with Earth, Good Sir.

The MMotM version of Earth Genasi have more stuff to the Merge with Stone Feature,

You know the Blade Ward cantrip. You can cast it as normal, and you can also cast it as a bonus action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Starting at 5th level, you can cast the pass without trace spell with this trait, without requiring a material component. Once you cast that spell with this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast it using any spell slots you have of 2nd level or higher.

Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
