Lovely we're all going to suffocate to death, and as always the Feywild hates Gabe 2 for his Con Save.
Me rn fr ong
O_O...Never mind, looks like we'll still need the initiative count. You'll survive this round, thanks to your Con Mod, and you can make the Con Save again on your next turn. ^^"
The armors stop moving and all of them seem to be tilting their heads inquisitively while Jub begins a performance with the Silent Image spell that created an illusory bonfire and shadowy figures. It seems that they're curious about what's happening, as the performance begins....
Animated Armor 6 is stopped by the barrier for this round.
Brutrumukk's Turn! I will need a Performance check from the both of you.
Aurora's shortsword easily pierces into the stuffed cat. For a brief moment, it seems like it's going to fall over instead of trying to attack Aurora. However, its jowls curl up and its head jerks twice before the cat sneezes!
After sneezing, a large cloud of dust expels outward from the cat and into the room! After it sneezed, it finally falls over and out of the cabinet, completely unmoving.
Zavakri shakes her head at the dust and she comments to Aurora, "That's why I told you to stand back, Aurora..."
She looks to Gabriel and Rearden to see if they were okay.
Aurora wins the day against the cat!
However, everyone within 30 feet of the cat will need to make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw. Failure means you become unable to breathe while sneezing uncontrollably. A creature affected in this way is incapacitated and suffocating. As long as it is conscious, a creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on it on a success.
Other than that, we are now out of initiative. ^_^ Disregard, we're going to need for those suffocating.
Quick question, would the cat be considered engaged in combat with Rearden as well? Not necessarily looking for advantage just want to know if sneak attack would be applicable.
Yes, I would say the cat is engaged in combat with Rearden and Gabriel as well.
As Aurora grumbles about the situation, wooden creaking can be heard. Should anyone look towards the sound, they would see part of the wooden wall of the cottage now looks like a frowning face. That doesn't impede Aurora's and Rearden's efforts to open the cabinet.
Aurora was able to find the lock to pick underneath the moss, and discern the weak points of the cabinet itself. Thanks to Rearden, Aurora was able to improvise lockpicks from the sewing pins stuck into the pincushions. Using multiple pins in each hand, Aurora is able to unlock the cabinet and open it!
Aurora is able to see that there are two shelves. The bottom shelf has three potions, with labels written in Elvish. Aurora is able to read the Elvish labels on each bottle. The first potion is labeled with "Shrink", the second potion is labeled as "Grow", and the third potion is labeled as "Vanish".
The topmost shelf holds...a stuffed, taxidermied cat? The cat shifts, shambles, and comes alive as Aurora and the party takes in the sight.
"Mrrrroooooowwww..." The cat gives a low angry growl at Aurora and the party, before arching its back and hissing at the group. It's clear that this cat is hostile to the party, and raised its claw ready to attack!
Zavakri widened her eyes, her irises now resembling gold clock faces, and she exclaims, "Cor! Stand back, Aurora!"
Roll Initiative, and take your turn! ^_^
As a note: I do not think that this is a battle that's going to last long, just looking at the Cat's HP.
@Lurking Krog@Dark Cloud@ctrlsaltdel, I'll be getting a Hither post up today at the very least, so we can bring our new snake friend into the party. ^_^
