Eleanor easily notes how the Eagle Masked woman does not care for hunting others for sport, but she sees this horrid event as an opportunity to learn new magic. So if this event doesn't provide new knowledge, than the Eagle Masked might help them...hopefully. She also notes the others at the table. She isn't sure if they can be persuaded to give up this game, and she knows that she would have to be ready to fight back and take a life if need be during this 'game'.

Regardless Mortimer answers her earlier words. She gave a smile and a raised eyebrow at his words about how he would put Stefan in the game as punishment. She knew he just contradicted himself as he was trying to frame this game as something to look forward for this entire meal. Before she could answer, the man in the Bear Mask abruptly stood from his seat and excused himself. She watched the man in the bear mask leave sadly, before she turns her attention back to Mortimer with that same defiant light in her eyes again.

After Mortimer bids them to enjoy the feast, she does finally get to answer his earlier words about Stefan, her sentence spoken in finality of the topic, "Very well, then. For the future: I'm sure Stefan will be more than happy to regale you with how he managed to overpower me in our fight after I gave him my refusal,"

Time Marches On: A Witchlight Adventure Starring Miss Light

A witchlight hand standing nearby punches one of Miss Light's tickets, and punches Morgran's offered ticket accordingly. Once that was done, Feathreen nods and she directs the both of them, "Alright then. You may enter the gondola," Morgran enters gingerly first, before he offers a hand to help Miss Light in, should she choose to accept it.

Once the both of them are in, Feathreen informs them, "Now, let us begin!" She begins to pull the gondola and swim along the river. The ride is peaceful, and Miss Light is able to see the joyful going-ons in the Carnival, along with the twinkling stars above.

Feathreen speaks up and asks the pair, "What is joy?"

I'm not sure how much it would make sense for them to be childhood friends. And the likelihood of two mutants with mythological past to know each other is unlikely to me. I kind of think it's better if they are just meeting.

What is her personality like? I assumed she is very tricky and mischievous. So, having Drake be frequently frustrated with her but in a sort of endearing way could be fun.

I was definitely thinking that she would be tricky and mischievous. She'd have a Devil May Care attitude, but if Drake and Mei were childhood friends, then Drake would know that her carefree attitude hides a heart of gold. Mei does care about the people around her, but she doesn't show it in order to not appear weak. I was also thinking that once she sets her mind on a course of action, there's no stopping her.

I was thinking of Mei being in a similar situation as Drake that caused her to have the Monkey King's powers. In the lore, the Monkey King has befriended a few dragons, to simplify things.

So, I was definitely thinking that Mei and Drake may be friends, or possibly have a friendly rivalry.

Silversong Lake

Morgran was wide-eyed with awe during Palasha's performance. Whatever caution he had towards this entire event is practically destroyed by the mermaid's beautiful singing voice. He turns his attention to Miss Light when she asks about where to go next. He clearly sees the glimmer of excitement in Miss Light's eyes and he shrugs with an easy smile, "Ah don't see why not. Let's go," He accompanies Miss Light to the dock for the Gondola Swans.

Silversong Lake

Enormous swans glide through the water here, pulling ornate wooden gondolas draped in flowers. The swans disappear into banks of silver mist as they wend their way down the river. A jetty extends ahead, at the end of which a waiting swan preens its feathers.

As Miss Light and Morgran approach, the swan looks to them and bows their head. The swan speaks! "Welcome fairgoers. My name is Feathreen,"

Morgran stares wide-eyed and he mumbles, "The swan's talking..."

Feathreen opts to ignore Morgran as she continues, "If you would like to partake in a peaceful ride around the Witchlight Carnival, it will cost a ticket punch,"
