Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

I'm probably going to dig out a green hoodie and a plastic bow and arrow set or something and go as Green Arrow. That or some other super basic costume that takes absolutely no effort. I've never been one for dressing up in costumes.
Some advice for all: Don't use 40 Volume bleach for more than half an hour. My scalp is currently numb and has blisters all over. The things one does for a Halloween costume.

What is that? Some kind of hair dye?
@Guess Who

I actually think if balanced properly and written well this could be a very interesting semblance. So hey take a +1.

That being said it will need careful monitoring once he becomes stronger, fine tuned control of a semblance that affects luck/fate can be incredibly powerful. No reason not to do it, just a word of caution :)

Yeah, I realize that but I think I'm up for the challenge. Besides, I don't plan on Robert figuring out his semblance for a long, long time. Making it a passive ability instead of the current active ability would make it even more difficult to discover.
All this talk of semblances just gave me an idea for my own character's semblance. Back when I was first creating Robert, I wasn't really putting much thought into what his semblance should be, I just knew that I didn't want him to have some kind of generic power (like shoots fireballs or has super strength). Heck, when I finally did come up with his semblance I didn't even think of any possible way it connected to an aspect of his character like semblances are supposed to. So reading all this discussion in the OOC makes me think, "Why don't I change it? It's not like it'd be that hard, he hasn't even discovered it anyway." And I just thought of the perfect power while randomly reading one of my old Spider-Man comics. Why not something similar to Black Cat's power (For those unfamiliar: "This power enabled her subliminally and psionically to affect probability fields, causing improbable, but not impossible, "unlucky" events to occur to enemies within her line of sight.") So why hasn't he discovered this ability yet? Why aren't enemies he's fighting constantly slipping on banana peels and getting crushed by oversized safes like a character from Loony Tunes? Because he doesn't realize that he's using his own semblance on himself. What do you think @Lugubrious? Good idea? Bad idea?

*slides @Lugubrious $0.50 because that's all the cash he has* What'll it take to make this happen?
Look at this thing I found.

we love you too buddy

do you plan on contributing to Luke's growing phobia of fire

Now that I know he has one, yes.
VNGB mission updated to 'A Friend in Need', Write on call for antagonism.

Forsythe's role as antagonist for Shipment Protection has been reallocated to @Guess Who in place of his antagonism on the no-longer used Hit and Run.

Anything else? Has JMCL agreed to working with BASL on Brewing Storm?

I'm the antagonist for Team JMCL again?

Just kidding, I love you guys. Sounds good to me.
I'll see what I can reorganize in that regard.

Two days left on the contest, folks.

I'm maybe halfway done with my entry.
I'm gunna go to bed, but not before leaving behind a lil something something.

One Punch Man is looking pretty good so far.
@Guess Who Just going to put this out there but probability control can be a risky thing to work with. Not saying it's a bad idea just be careful, since it's such and undefined field it is open to an impossible number of interpretations which could go south very quickly. I trust you'd handle it well but it's something you have to watch out for cause in the wrong set of circumstances it can be the ultimate ability, which is generally not a good thing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. We wouldn't want a Avengers Disassembled or House of M-style event happen (fingers crossed that you've read at least one of those books and understand what I'm saying). Still, I think it's nerfed enough with having it based on line of sight and only allowing it to create improbable circumstances.

EDIT:

@Guess Who What's wrong with sound wave manipulation? I thought the disorientating effects it has on others would be a reflection of Robert's own clumsiness both mentally and physically.

If I'm being honest while I might not always be happy with the power level of Sapphire's semblance I think I sort of nailed it with how it relates to her personality. A girl that wants to shut out the world and never let anyone see the real her has the power to avoid being perceived.

I don't know. It just feels so half-assed to me and the connection to his character feels stretched, personally.
