I think the point of the thread is ask the appeal of things that you think people might actually be a fan of, instead of just trying to indirectly virtue signal that you 'dont understand bad people' smh.@Dynamo Frokane

           Anyways, to answer your question, DCEU really rides off the backs of lore and superhero fans and their wants. It's a superhero action movie; you see the people you like, they do the things you like, and they fight the things you like in the way you like. It really is pandering, but it gives good entertainment to people who want that kind of show. I find it only redeeming because it's a DC film, and it gives to DC fans, who want DC films. There's really not much to talk about it after that. Movies have to cater to some audience, right?

Disclaimer: I'm not saying all DC fans want half-baked action films, I'm only saying that's what the studios are putting out, and that's what the crowds of movie-goers are eating up. DC comics are pretty ok; the movies are not (in my opinion).

@Lmpkio I just couldn't wait for the OOC to post this. I think I'll also make an alien Kaiju antagonist, but regardless, I'm glad on how this CS came out.

Personality: Quiet, kind, benevolent, and always allowing her actions to speak louder than her words, Mothra is most comparable to a great motherly goddess. This mute Kaiju has always been relatively friendly with humans, her patience and understanding extending far into their history as one of Earth's first "Guardians". Now with the ability to appear in humanoid form, though, Mothra is the most curious she has ever been of human culture. Her inability to speak can still barely hold her back. Though she is excessively wise from many years of life, the giant moth Kaiju can still be found browsing the local temples and shops of Japan with awe, now having suddenly been introduced to a new atmosphere away from her home island. Otherwise, when faced with other Kaijus and threats, Mothra will only fight when truly provoked. The ancient moth knows how to pick her battles, and assaults only those who have imposed on that which she loves. Indeed, Mothra is the cinnamon-bun heroine of the monster world, serving her purpose dutifully.
History:Mothra was first created along with the Earth, a being of great power produced to look over the great land of life and it's infinite happenings. Along with six other "Guardians", Mothra saw human and animal kind rise into existence, the ancient civilizations we now speculate today coming into being under this ancient Kaiju like an ant hill and it's many soldiers. Sadly, the original Mothra would not be so blessed as to see all Earth could offer. She was soon mortally wounded in a battle against a fellow moth Kaiju named Batta, who's twisted sense of justice called for the eradication of man-kind. Nearing death, Mothra created a great egg on what is now Infant island in the Pacific Ocean. This egg, with the power to revive Mothra in the form of twin larvae from it's spotted shell, guaranteed the moth Kaiju would live for centuries to come. This was the great start of the Mothra Lineage
Soon, with the island becoming quickly populated by primitive humans, Mothra became a mythical being in human history. The inhabitants of Infant Island regarded the Kajui as their god, and treated her as such. Furthermore, on this island is where Mothra met the Shobijins; small, fairy-like 'human' twins that now speak on the behalf of their immortal goddess to this day. These happenings gave the ancient Kaiju even greater connection to the human race, and with them she gradually recognized the race's beauty. But, now, with her most current revival having taken place, and her ability to transform into a human having emerged, she is as close as she will ever be to humanity's beauty. With the transformative abilities she possesses, Mothra has become a shining light of hope in the communication between the human and Kaiju world. She happily swears to protect humankind from both the threats of other monsters, and themselves.
Powers/Abilities:In addition to the extreme strength and endurance common among most Kaiju, Mothra also exhibits the following abilities in her most current form;Flight
Amphibian Capabilities
Shape-shifting: Mothra is able to shape-shift from human form to gigantic, moth Kaiju form at will.
Hurricane Wings: Mothra's 60ft. long, muscular wingspan is most certainly a force to be reckoned with. The female Kaiju has the innate power to whip up hurricane-force wings with her beautiful wings.
Monster Telepathy: Mothra is able to telepathically talk to other Kaiju.
Venomous Bite: A new ability now present in the Mothra lineage, the she-Kaiju is able to inject her enemies with potent venom through her powerful mandibles. This venom will slowly work on a Kaiju's body over time, weakening its muscle tissue and organ efficiency over a maximum span of 30 days. At the end of 30 days, the venom dissipates, and the Kaiju returns to normal. Mothra is able to use this ability in human form by biting others, but the effect is much less potent and only lasts 15 days. This venom cannot kill on its own. Mothra's venom is susceptible to nullification by vaccines, antidotes, etc.
Wing Lightning: A power that is much more common among the Mothra family line, the giant moth Kaiju is able to summon arcing purple lightning from her enormous wings. The Lightning can only be summoned from Mothra's wings, and has a maximum range of 60ft. As well, though the lightning's path is ultimately decided by Mothra herself, it is most easily attracted to metal objects and beings.
Immortal Lineage: When nearing death, Mothra has the incredible ability to lay a large, 30ft. tall egg as to continue her family line. The dying Mothra will defend this egg at any cost, very well sacrificing her own life to ensure the egg's own. When the Mothra does die, though, the egg will hatch and two large larvae will emerge. These larvae have no other abilities other than Kaiju Strength and Endurance/Amphibious Capabilities/Ability to Burrow. One of the larvae, in two years time, will mature into a full-grown Mothra. This new Mothra has the same morals, memories, and personality as their parent before them, but never the same powers. Both the egg and larvae are destructible.
